2 nights at The Griffin Ranch

What a wonderful place to escape to! Carl and Terri were super-welcoming and made us feel at home and relaxed. Beautiful grounds to walk on and I fed a couple of horses some apples, which made me feel happy! I sat and read on the porch and my husband went fishing nearby in Eureka. The cottage has everything you need, and we got a great gift basket for a birthday treat. Nice little market nearby was helpful.

Weekend Trip to The Griffin Ranch

Loved the space. I went for a quiet relaxing weekend to shut off from the world and that’s exactly what I did. The property was great, enjoyed quit walks along the lake with my dog and just sitting in rocking chair on front porch. Highly recommend.

Very chilled and easy experience staying at Runaway Bay Lodge. Hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Bed very large and comfortable. Nice shower. Lovely watching the sunset over the lake with a nice wood fire going.

3 nights at Waterfront Island Bungalow

What a piece of 'old Florida' paradise! The cabin was absolutely perfect for a quiet, unplugged weekend. Highly recommended!!! The cabin has everything you need to make modest meals and the beds are comfy. We especially enjoyed the sweet cat, fireflies at night, reading on the dock, and watching the ducks bathe. We are definitely going to be back! Side note - the dock was pretty shallow when we were there (water is low in general right now), so I would check with Christina about your boat draft before booking with your own boat.

1 night at Serene Forested Blueberry Farm

We absolutely loved our stay at the Little Lulu. The surrounding nature was peaceful and the amenities were amazing. We really enjoyed chatting with Cassandra and Walt, who are wonderful hosts. They set up the perfect campfire before arrival, and had everything we needed there for us. The two kitties, Cali the calico and Day-tripper the orange, kept us company all evening while we enjoyed hotdogs and s'mores under the canopy of stars. I highly recommend this stay, and would love to return in the future!

the 4 little trailers are in there own little space the grounds are wooded and well kept the cabin had its own shower and tv extremely clean the outside shower was fantastic had a washer dryer Casandra was super cool let me stay a little later on checkout i 'm a tent camper in Ocala Forest usually but my first hipcamp experience was awesome Casandra even brought me firewood would definetly go back

We had such a lovely time camping with friends at the Blueberry Farm! Cassandra is such a wonderful, thoughtful and considerate host. The sites are all lovely - clean, comfortable, and well equipped with so many special touches. We had a great time exploring the sites in Forest and hanging at the site playing games and enjoying the fire. This was my 3rd time staying at the Blueberry Farm and I can't wait to visit again.

The Blueberry Farm was everything I had hoped for and more. The camper I stayed in (The Gunnisack) was the perfect combination of well-appointed, cozy, and rustic, with all the amenities to make for a comfortable experience. An excellent mattress, an AC, all necessary cooking implements, firewood, a fire bowl, tiki torches... Cassandra truly thought of everything. The Gunnisack is tucked away in a little wooded bower, so it's perfect for anyone in search of peace and quiet. I recommend this spot to anyone looking for a rustic, homey getaway that's close to all the amazing nature that Central Florida has to offer (the manatees, gators, monkeys, and incredible birds of Ocala National Forest are just a short drive away).

There aren't words enough to explain the amazing vibe of this place.....just book a site. We recommend the Tikka masala add on. Beautifully done 4 course meal, fine dinning meal in a laid back casual setting with one of a kind hosts! Kudos Christina and Kennedy can't wait to return for a 3 retreat!

Had an amazing stay at Hookie’s Hideaway Forest Camp! Cassandra was a fantastic host—super friendly and welcoming. The outdoor shower with hot water was a great touch, and the campsite itself was peaceful and well-maintained. It’s a fantastic spot to visit with kids, and we loved getting fresh eggs from the farm’s chickens. Beautiful, relaxing vibes all around, and the location is perfect—close to the springs. Highly recommend!

We will definitely be coming back to explore. Oh my goodness. My partner and I have been disheartened with the state of the world and working multiple jobs and moving and my daughter and I have been having health issues. So we just really needed some rest and mental peace. Kennedy was such a sweet awesome human and the space was everything anticipated. Nothing like a naked nap by the water ✌️ 🤤

We had an amazing time staying at little lulu! Cassandra was very attentive and greeted us upon arrival. We felt right at home. The RV was perfect for our weekend getaway. It was spacious enough for us and had all the amenities we needed. Little lulu is perfectly tucked away in the woods and we had enough privacy from the other campers but close enough to the outhouse. I would highly recommend staying here and if I’m ever in the area again I would happily stay here again.

My husband and i have birthdays within a couple weeks of each other and decided to celebrate them at Cristina’s property. The WiFi password hints at getting off your devices and we took that advice to heart. Naps, reading, walks/exploration, bike rides, wild animals, farm animals (including the friendliest kitty), sunsets, and sunrises was the prescription and the Waterfront Island Bungalow delivered. On top of that, Cristina and Ed were gracious and welcoming hosts. If you are looking to relax and unplug, this should be your destination. We’ll be back.

Located on 5 acres in the Ocala National Forest, Hookie's Hideaway is the perfect place to stay for easy access to all of nature's bounty and activities. This property is easily accessible, serene and peaceful. Campsites are in a beautiful grove of pine and sycamore trees. We are surrounded by forested camping areas and close enough to drive into town to pick up groceries or get a meal. We have a "you pick them" blueberry farm when in season. We are pet friendly! If you have a pet please add the pet Extra at checkout so you will be charged a $20 pet fee ($10 for the trailers). We are close to hiking, horse trails, lakes and springs. Bocce Ball and Croquet is available to play here anytime! We are only a short distance away from amazing horse riding trails and Florida's most popular natural springs. We live on the property and are available during normal business hours. We are free to ask questions and give suggestions for surrounding activities and dining options. We will interact as little or as much as you need. Birds singing in the morning and crickets at night ensure a restful getaway here.
