Very well, kept with a beautiful scenery, the fact that there’s only three campsites is really nice as well so you don’t feel overcrowded. The firewood, being chopped and ready for you for $.50 a log was awesome. Beautiful sunrise, and sunset, I highly suggest you try to stay up just for a little bit because we were able to see a ton of shooting stars.

We loved camping on site 1 ar sweet tupelo. The hosts were absolutely phenomenal whenever we need anything they were always there to answer any questions and help us. We certainly will be coming back and would recommend this location to anyone wanting some peace and quiet next to the river. If you want to relax sweet tupelo is your place.

This is an amazing hipcamp! The location very much gives you a feeling that you are in the middle of nowhere, which it is. It was very quiet although it sounds like someone is keeping a pack of hunting dogs nearby and they like to bark and howl...alot. And it was very dark, not a single light in sight except the stars. All three of the sites were huge (we were in site #1) and the entire location was very clean and neat, even manicured. There was an excess of furniture for just our needs but we appreciated the grill and fire pit and adored the benches set along the rivers edge where we enjoyed our morning coffee. It isn't clear from all of the user-provided pictures but there is absolutely no access to the river itself. It's a good 20 foot drop and the warnings against getting too close to the edge are there for a reason. The utilities were great and well kept and as easy to get in an out as advertised.

Maggie & Mike are wonderful camp host. They are the friendliest, most helpful, kindest amazing people that we were blessed to meet. They ended up being the unexpected highlight, instead of an overnight stop over, towards our destination. Home is where the heart is and Maggie’s Musical Farm is an all warm embracing heart, a sanctuary for the soul.

Weekend Trip to "Sweet Tupelo" on the "Big River"!

This place is tops. 50/30 amp electric along with 110v, AND Clean water at every site. Glenn obviously wants the best experience at this place and it shows. We camped in August heat and made it work so you could too. This is the place, I'm telling you. BTW we are in a horse trailer so with an actual camper it is probably easier. Not a bad thing to say about our experience. Honest.

1 night at Tiny Stoners

Super thanks Derek for allowing me to stay on your property! If anyone is visiting the Apalachicola Florida region, I highly recommend this spot if you are look for a cheap spot to park overnight. It is gated, but Derek gave instructions on how to access. The only negatives are the area is heavy with mosquitoes as there is stagnant water in the back. The other is the cell signal for me (Verizon) was poor.

5 nights at Sugar White Sand - St. Joe Beach

We had a wonderful time camping at Sugar Sands Beach. The set up is fairly private, it is in a backyard but there is a fence separating the campsite from the garage. It’s very quiet and the campsite faces the woods. We loved the outdoor shower and foot shower. Would be even better if someday Wayne decides to make it enclosed. But very useful for keeping the sand down. It was an easy 3 block walk to the beach and the beach access is right there. The beaches are beautiful and not crowded at all. It was a fantastic vacation. Wayne was very quick to respond with questions and advice for places to go in the areas.

Weekend Trip to "Sweet Tupelo" on the "Big River"!

This camp site is fantastic! Site is huge for large families. Easy fit our camper, truck, boat and 2nd vehicle with no issues. Site has been well planned with multiple outdoor seating or cooking areas. The sunsets over the river are wonderful and the stars shine bright. Great place to relax for the weekend!

Absolutely loved our time at Wayne's. It's private, backed up to a beautiful yard and woods. Just blocks from the beach, and not right next to other campers in a campground. Absolutely would stay here again! Wayne was fast with the only question we had, and a great guy.

Very well maintained and welcoming space. The hosts were the sweetest! There were also 2 nice outdoor showers!!! Will definitely stay here again when we return to the area - hopefully will catch a jam next time 🎸😋
