We lucked out here. We had a quiet weekend (as you can with THREE boys 12,13,13). Sheila and Larry were so friendly, they stopped in a bit after we arrived. We were able to chat a bit while we were allowing the boys to be boys… sometimes it’s hard to be able to. It was so refreshing for me to enjoy nature and let the boys do the work and run like heathens for once. We will most definitely be back to this beautiful piece of property.

The river was beautiful and having a bathroom was awesome!

Camped Valentine’s weekend…
Lots of space. When we got there, someone else was in our space, #2, so we had to go to space #1, which is right in front of the pavilion.
While I did not care for that so much, it ended up being fine.
The owner, Larry, greeted us upon arrival and was helpful in getting us parked correctly.
All hookups were great. Clean bathroom and outdoor shower. Loved loved this shower!!!!!
Quiet and peaceful.
Be careful getting down to the spots as the road is a bit bumpy.
Few steps down to the river where you can relax and fish/swim.
Pavilion has an outdoor sink/tables/chairs/smoker-grill.
All in all a very nice time…..thank you, Larry, for our sticker!

Lovely spot right on the river, tons of space, dog friendly and plenty of amenities! Loved the set up and ease. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

The full kitchen made it perfect for a first camping trip for my littles. Just a note though, it's located next to a hunting area so the cabins had a small group of men who would go hunting during the day. All quite nice, no issues there, they did a field dressing (I think it's called that-they began preparing the meat) in the evenings after their hunting trip, for us, we used it as an education experience on where meat comes from. I can, however, understand how someone might have wanted to know that was a possibility before booking. So just an FYI on that. All in all a great experience though.
