  Borders Oleno State Park. Close proximity to several rivers and springs, hiking trails. Abundant deer, owls and turkeys. Several great places to rent kayaks and/or canoes. Nearby antique stores and crystal shop. Thirty minutes from the University of Florida's Museum of Natural History and Butterfly Rainforest.

 Private cottage approximately 450 square feet with kitchenette, queen size bed and full bathroom.  Fire pit available off of front porch. Mini split system for heat and air. Dark sky for star gazing. 

 We are pet friendly, but the renter has responsibilities for their pet. Fenced area for pet. Pet must be in the fenced area or on a leash at all times. This is a VERY quiet are, so we can not have any excessive barking. Pet may not be left alone in the cottage without being crated. 

This is a non-smoking cottage. Any evidence of smoking will result in a damage fee of $200.

Camp Declan — Lakefront Glamp

Camp Declan is a rare find: a private, breezy, six-acre lakefront retreat that feels like stepping into classic “Old Florida,” where the air is clean, the nights are quiet, and nature is always part of the experience.

Set under a canopy of Live Oak trees draped with Spanish moss and stretching along nearly 600 feet of freshwater shoreline, this is a place where mornings start with birdsong, afternoons drift by on the dock, and evenings end around the fire pit under open skies. Fish, paddle, swim, grill, relax — or do nothing at all while napping in one of several hammocks. The lake and floating dock are always the centerpiece of life here.

The property includes three thoughtfully designed buildings:

Cabin – comfortable air-conditioned sleeping quarters with private bathroom

Bunkhouse – group-friendly lodging (six adult-sized bunkbed sets) with bathroom

Cabana – the social hub with outdoor bar, kitchen, commercial ice machine and hangout space

Together, Camp Declan comfortably hosts up to 18 overnight guests and is ideal for families, youth retreats, reunions, fishing buddies, retreat weekends, and anyone seeking a down-to-earth, unplugged getaway with real space to spread out.

Wildflower Ranch

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape on 20 acres of serene rural land. Take a walk to the chicken coop and hear all of the chickens' opinions.  Lay a blanket out in the meditation corner and enjoy the peace and quiet.  Walk through the fruit trees and past the blackberries and take any ripe fruit of your liking.  Explore the ranch to locate gopher tortoise burrows (but don't get too close) and wave at all the fox squirrels.  Find the northeast corner of the ranch and play volleyball with your friends (let us know if you need a ball).  Stroll through the round-pen-turned-garden and check out the Datil pepper plants which we use to make our datil sauce and datil vinegar (both are for sale to guests).  Finally, enjoy the starry night sky.  Thanks to our rural setting we have some of the darkest skies in Florida.  There is an observatory only one mile away!

We are ideally located in North Central Florida, so many of your Florida outdoor bucket list adventures are within reach.  The ranch is a close neighbor of Devil's Den Prehistoric Spring, the Blue Grotto, Black Prong horse riding and biking trails, Cedar Lakes Woods & Gardens and more.

Wildflower Ranch offers two private primitive campsites (accommodating tents or vehicles), one private RV site, and one private cabin.  Our cabin has a private bathroom, while our campsites have 24/7 access to climate-controlled full bathrooms with hot water showers, flushing toilets, and sinks.

The Dune Sunflower campsite has a dedicated 6 ft picnic table and 3 ft diameter fire pit.
