I purchased this land several years ago after experiencing the heartbreaking loss of my daughter, JoLisa Marie Roadcap, whom we lovingly called "Little Jo." One of my favorite times of day is around 5:30 a.m., when the sun begins to rise. Step out onto the deck, listen to the birds singing, and watch a new day unfold. You may see dozens of species of birds, including the majestic Bald Eagle, endangered woodpeckers, blue herons, bluebirds, blue jays, mockingbirds, doves, and many others. We even have a nesting pair of bluebirds that return year after year. Occasionally, a small black bear may wander through the area as well.
We want your stay here to be peaceful, relaxing, and filled with opportunities to experience the natural beauty of Garcon Point. The area is home to several species of wild carnivorous plants, beautiful beaches, and unique ecosystems found nowhere else.
After 6 years of hard work, challenges, and perseverance, we are proud to say that we are officially a park and preserve. Our property features 9 acres of walking trails, with additional trails still being hand-built. Every path is created with care and respect for the land.
I truly believe this place carries a special spiritual strength that speaks to people from all walks of life and all nations.
A Brief History of Our Location
Following the Bernardo de Gálvez victory during the Siege of Pensacola, a land grant on Garcon Point was awarded to Antonio Garzon in recognition of his service as an interpreter to the Pensacola Indians. The property remained in the Garzon family for 35 years before being sold by Maria Garzon to Joseph Bonifay.

Primitive camping is permitted at designated wooded high grounds in the middle of the property. It is a 5 and 10-minute rugged hike in to the middle ground respectively. The trail remains under development, so please bring close-toed shoes or boots for hiking throughout the property (depending on rainfall, there may be mud and water).
We have two primitive campsites These campsites are first come first serve, they are not assigned when booking.
Our Glamper tent is a 10x12 canvas furnished full size bed with bedding, pillows and enough floor space for two sleeping bags.
The tents are located off a short trial, but rugged 2-minute hike from the parking area. We provide the opportunity to go camping without having to pack the tent.
Closed toed shoes are highly suggested as well as plenty of lighting with batteries or solar charging capability. This is a rugged, fun and serene camping experience.

Come camp in the woods right off the Perdido River. There is a short walk to the cabin, either along boardwalks or via a trail, and we provide carts to make it easy. Across the floating bridge is a sandbar where you can hang out with other river rats and enjoy a cold one.
The Perdido River is known for great tubing and kayaking. We have tubes available to loan. A float from Fillingim’s Landing to our sandbar takes about four hours with stops. If you’re looking for an all-day adventure, you can put in at Barrineau Park Bridge.
We are 420-friendly, and if you want to enjoy a beer, we’ll probably join you. There is a large outdoor fire pit and grills available for use. I also have camping hammocks that can be set up for extra guests, as well as a camping toilet. All I ask is that you clean up after yourselves, bring all trash up front to the garbage cans, and keep the volume down by 10:00 p.m.

Camping On The Farm! This is a living quarters horse trailer that we use to travel with our horses. It is a small space! Camping On The Farm! This is a living quarters horse trailer that we use to travel with our horses. It is a small space! There is a queen size bed in the upper area, a kitchenette with an undercounter refrigerator, a microwave, a two burner gas cooktop, and an outdoor grill. The bathroom has a toilet and a 24" x 30" stand up shower. The kitchen sink is also the bathroom sink. There is a small 3 gallon water heater which will provide about 5 minutes of hot water, meaning you have 5 minutes to shower. We provide a coffee maker (French press), ground coffee, fresh eggs from our chickens, and a loaf of fresh bread (for your consumption or to feed the animals). We do not provide a cooked breakfast. There is no TV or radio. The Camper is nestled 17 miles from Town, so you may want to shop on your way here. The Eastern Shore Center is located at Exit 38, where you can find great shopping, many restaurants, and a Publix grocery store. We try to keep various essential items in the pantry and there is a stocked kitchen (pots, pans, plates, glasses, flatware). TV, landline telephone, and internet are not available. You should have good cell phone service, Verizon and AT&T 4G , outside. Check-in is any time after 3pm and Check-out is 10am.

We loved our time at Brown Acres. The RV was perfect for our family of six to stay in during our vacation. Sasha was so kind and was willing to help with anything we needed. They had a pond we could fish in, a couple of kayaks, an outdoor table to enjoy meals outside, hot water for a shower and air conditioning 😍. We received the best advice since we were out of towners. Would 100% go back to enjoy it for longer!

This was a beautiful and tranquil spot. Lush green and waterfront area, gracious hosts and the cabin was perfect to relax and take a break from ‘busy life’. Larry and Sheila were more than accommodating. The cabin was perfectly stocked and spotless upon arrival. I enjoyed my time so much, I extended another week! Thanks Larry and Sheila. 2 nights at Gypsy Rose Near the Beach
The camper is in someone’s back yard so not a ton of privacy , however we had a fire pit and everything we needed . The plants back by the fire pit and camper were incredible so beautiful it felt like a jungle . If you’re looking for a very cute hippie friendly small space to enjoy this is your place ! Hosts very friendly and helpful !!

Well thought out campground, nice kitchen and bathhouse. We had fun exploring the trails and hanging out on the beach. The yurt was very comfortable. You can tell Amanda puts a lot of pride and care into her space.

I try to make it a routine to go camping with my son every time I visit him. This campsite has everything I could ask for: courteous owners, easy to follow instructions, wonderful set up at the campsite and easy access to a beach. He had an absolute blast, helping me build, and maintain a fire, walk around the entire campsite, and many hours well spent in the water. I’ll be visiting this campsite again.

Weekend Trip to East Bay Family Retreat
What a beautiful property within a short drive of where we live. I really enjoyed spending the day out by their bay front. Having access to kayaks was a special treat, because I’ve never kayaked before. The glamper tent was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also plenty of space between the 2 glamper sites to give some privacy. It was also a special treat to enjoy the wildlife. We enjoyed watching the Royal Terns diving into the water for fish, and the mullet jumping out of the water. I had the special privilege of seeing a rabbit stop on the trail and stand in front of me for a solid 30 seconds. At night, fireflies flashed around the tree line. We heard a whippoorwill off in the distance, another amazing treat. Definitely saving this campsite as a go-to weekend getaway. What you get vs the low cost of their glamper sites is unbeatable. The Florida panhandle is so full of beauty in its nature. It’s amazing that there’s still a chunk of natural Florida left in Navarre, and the hosts are so willing to share it with others.

This glamping tent on East Bay in Navarre was everything we hoped for and more. The listing was completely accurate—the space was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. And the Bay was just a short walk from the campsite. It felt like the perfect mix of camping and comfort. We also appreciated how reasonably priced it was compared to similar stays. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing escape, this is definitely the place. Highly recommend!

The Wandering Path is an amazing and peaceful getaway. The yurts offer the perfect setup for any season and eliminates a lot of packing. Amanda’s property has everything you need…the cleanest bathhouse I have yet to see and an awesome communal outdoor kitchen. There are primitive sites as well. The creek that runs along the property is crystal clear water with white sand banks throughout. It is deep enough to kayak or shallow enough to walk in and enjoy. The Wandering Path is the ultimate getaway location!
