Caceres Organic Blueberry & Turmeric Farms is nestled in the heart of the Suwannee River Water Basin, home to some some of the most beautiful freshwater springs in the world. We have been a WWOOF host since 2011. Over 500 organic volunteers from around the world have lived and worked at the farm so we are used to creating an atmosphere of community and sustainable living. We have cleared tent camping lots for Hip Campers in front of the on-property lake with easy access to swimming and fishing. There are two solar shower stalls with hot water powered by the sun. It is specifically built to overlook the main blueberry field and peach grove. Stunning views at sunset. An outhouse / composting toilet is currently under construction with the rain water collection system now complete. In the meantime a portable toilet is provided. A potable water station is available and built from re-purposed materials and wood harvested locally. We are a working farm. We supply every Lucky's Market location with fresh turmeric and a host of stores with our blueberries. We also have an active u-pick program during the blueberry and peach harvests (late March to early June) that is available to Hip Campers. There are multiple springs within 30 miles in various directions - some of them of First Magnitude volume. Ichetucknee Springs offers excellent river rafting. Ginnie Springs offers world class underwater cave diving -PADI license required. Manatee Springs and Fanning Springs consistently offer up close sightings of Manatees without the crowds of Crystal River. There is also a boat launch on the Suwannee River just minutes from the farm for boating, skiing and fishing. Bob's River Place is minutes away.The Gulf of Mexico is just 40 miles away. Scalloping season begins June 15 this year and runs to September. Oyster season lasts all winter. It was very peaceful. Very nice little setup. Had a fire ring and picnic table and that’s all you need. Me dogs roamed around and quickly learned about the cactus. No harm done and there are warning signs, my dogs just can’t read. It’s a nice little retreat away. We will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful time tent camping with my dogs. I loved that they could run free (please not that there are cactus on the property - there are signs - so just make sure your dog doesn’t get pricked) and explore the land. We were the only campers at sites 1-4 so it was quiet. You can hear some road noise.
Close to a lot of state parks and springs to do some exploring! We will definitely be back!

Camping here was so peaceful. We were the only ones around, and it was nice and quiet. Although there is a road fairly nearby, the traffic sounds more like white noise than anything. We got to tour the blueberry bushes and turmeric roots. We were right by a gorgeous basin of water nice and cold for swimming. The porta potty was clean, there was rain water for doing dishes, and drinking water closer to the house. The showers were HOT hot and never ran out, plus had a great view of the property. I recommend buying some turmeric powder from Richard, it’s the freshest turmeric I’ve ever tasted. We will be coming back to volunteer! Highly recommend.

My girlfriend and I arrived Thursday afternoon planning to leave Saturday, but ended up staying until Sunday. We felt so welcomed, relaxed, and secure all st the same time. Richard was a warm and accommodating host offering directions, greetings, and firewood deliveries. A great stay overall. Steaming hot showers are provided along with a beautiful sunset view from the stalls. Campsites are well maintained and grounds of the farm are pleasant. A watering hole is available on the property and was fresh and clear, room from jumping as well. Nice places to suntan. Thanks Richard for a wonderful weekend on your farm.

Nice tent site. Affordable. Able to park car at your site. I was the only one around, so it was pretty quiet. An outhouse and pavilion and rain barrel with water were the amenities. Richard is a wonderful host & very accommodating to our last minute after dark reservation. We stayed @ Site 4, slept peacefully & available firewood was a plus. Very nice well maintained campsites. Sites 1-3 are closer together and towards the back of the property site 4 is closer to the front. All sites could accommodate a couple overland rigs. We enjoyed our short overnight stay here.

My stay was great! I was looking for a peaceful, dog-friendly spot that was close to Manatee and Fanning Springs, and this place was perfect. It was about a 30-min drive to Manatee Springs.
I also work remotely, and was able to get decent cell service and Starlink connectivity, which was a big bonus!
I will definitely recommend Richard's farm to friends and family who are looking for spots close to the springs.

This Organic Blueberry / Tumeric Farm was absolutely the best! Richard was so welcoming! We had the most peaceful time here. The outdoor solar shower was amazing! We had plenty of hot water and the views from it were pretty. Our pup loved having acres of field to run around. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be back.
