Bring your anti rooster alarm clock devices (earplugs) if you want to sleep soundly. This location is on a flight path. It’s urban so you’ll hear traffic and neighbors. I’d still recommend it.

I’m still in disbelief in discovering this edenic oasis in the middle of Miami. The grounds were unexpectedly immaculate, spacious and aesthetically pleasing. Our host was gracious and attentive. Our stay could not have been improved except it be longer. We recommend without reservation.

John was an excellent host. He helped Hubs back the trailer in. He gave us tiki lights for our experience. The property is gorgeous with a mini beach and arigated(sp) water. If ever back in the area I would stay again! Was great.

Honey’s Place is a lovely jungle oasis in the heart of an urban neighborhood. John was a great host and very responsive. He has created a little piece of paradise and made us feel completely welcome. We made trips to Hollywood Beach Boardwalk, South Beach, and Miami downtown. The chickens and peacock were very friendly. We loved this unique place!

So peaceful and beautiful. Nice little beach. Of course there are weeds and some rocks, it is the Keys. But both of these provide a place for the fish and other aquatic creatures to live. We went snorkeling one day and watched the fish swim under us. We also used our paddle boards to enjoy some of the coast line. Jack and his family are friendly and I thank them for sharing their slice of paradise with us. We will be back in January.

Beautiful place! John is very attentive and he make sure we had the best experience. Wish I had more days to enjoy. Definitely would come again in the future. The water, privacy and nature makes a perfect place for a relaxing getaway. I recommend 100%.

This property was very peaceful and calming. I was able to put my kayak on the private beach and go out at my leisure. Fish on the private dock. And my campsite was rather private with nice lights and a beautiful fire ring. I also felt secure with the closed gate. I couldn't have asked for a better getaway.

This campsite was an absolute dream! It felt like discovering a private oasis tucked away in nature. The private lagoon was stunning — peaceful, and perfect for a swim or a relaxing canoe ride. Having our own canoe to explore the water made the experience even more special.
The evening was just as magical, sitting by the fireplace under the stars. It was quiet, cozy, and the perfect spot to unwind and disconnect.
The host was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. You can tell they put a lot of care into maintaining the place — everything was spotless and thoughtfully set up.
If you’re looking for a serene getaway surrounded by nature, this is the perfect spot. Can’t wait to return! 🌿🔥🛶

Honey’s Place is a true hidden gem — a magical tropical oasis right in the middle of Miami. The lush surroundings felt like a little paradise escape, and we especially loved watching the sunset on the pond from the boat — it was pure magic. Everything was peaceful, welcoming, and beautifully kept. We’d definitely come back and can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking for a relaxing, nature-filled getaway in the city!

Honey's place is an amazing little oasis in the heart of Miami. I was not expecting it to be as beautiful and serene as it was, but it exceeded all expectations!! John is not one of those hosts that is snooping around your campsite, but he is always reachable via message, and that makes him a great caretaker. The grounds are very clean and the location is within a 15 - 30 min drive to most attractions or major locations in Miami. My wife, mother in law, and I, loved our time at honey's place and can't wait to go back!!!
