Located near I-75 just 20 miles South of Tampa, 35 miles east of Saint Petersburg, 35 miles North of Sarasota, 2 hours West of Orlando.
This property is home to a farm/nursery operation and has a large pond on the west side. The pond is Spring-fed at the headwaters of Marsh Branch Creek which begins at our property and flows West about five miles in to Tampa Bay.
Approximately 33 private acres allows for plenty of space between our campsites.
Property is home to a farm with hundreds of fruit trees- Lychee, Mango, Starfruit, Papaya, Guava). Red Mombin, and thousands of banana plants.
Fishing can be great, wildlife and bird watching too.
Fenced and gated for safety, this old historic nursery property has good vibes and plenty to offer. Until you see it - you really may not understand.
Parts of property are wide open, other areas are rugged and difficult to walk through including some wetland areas.
The nursery has plenty of trees, and some fields -the large pond is surrounded by cattails and marsh/wetlands and has fish (Bass, Tilapia, Sunfish, Catfish).
Several species of wildlife have been seen on the property.

An RV site with 30A power and water hookup, but no restroom available fo the RV site. A one room cabin with a queen bed is available with a separate full bathroom. Come visit our friendly donkey (Henry) and Scottish Highland cow (Wallace). You will hear roosters, braying and some mooing early in the morning. The Withlacoochee Trail is a mile east at the end of the road. This is a biking, hiking and equestrian trail. Florida Classic Park is roughly 2 miles north on Lockhart. The Croom Recreational Area is also 3 miles away.
If you are traveling with farm animals, we do have (2) 2-acre cross-fenced paddocks available for an additional fee. We also have a stable available, but that does have a concrete floor with mats. Please reach out to us directly in this regard.

Definitely served our needs. Dona was easy to communicate with and the place was quaint and in a peaceful farm setting. The main bed was comfortable. The pullout perhaps less so, so maybe bear that in mind if you’re trying to sleep 4. But otherwise, found the place charming and wish we had more time for a farm tour.

Kelli’s land truly exceeded my expectations. What stood out the most was how peaceful and spacious everything felt. The little house and the entire property have beautiful details that reflect so much love in every corner. Each outdoor space welcomed me with a deep sense of peace, connection to nature, and the silence I was looking for.
Kelli was incredibly kind and attentive, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were comfortable. And the fresh eggs she brought us were absolutely delicious.

Weekend Trip to Serenity Acres Glamping Retreat
What a mesmerizing weekend get away.
I'll start by saying that A.J was very responsive to all my questions (and I had many); he was very informative and understanding to all my concerns before getting into the property.
The place was just so beautiful and peaceful that we decided not to leave the property at all.
We walked around and found a nice pond with a
"teenage" alligator; we named him "Mr lonely" because well, he was lonely... lol
During the morning, we woke up early to see the sunrise, cooked breakfast in the grill, and sat in the hammocks enjoying the lovely scenery and tranquil atmosphere that this place brings.
During afternoon hours, we walked around exploring the property; we saw wild rabbits, possums, beautiful butterflies, and of course, “Mr. Lonely; we sat by the pond for a while enjoying the beauty of nature.
In the evening, we cooked dinner, sat by the fire pit, made s'mores, enjoyed the clear skies and the weather.
Lastly, our dog was in heaven! He ran and wondered around all over the place.
We will definitely be back to this lovey unique place.

Weekend Trip to Hidden Oak Hideaway Treehouse
My boyfriend and I stayed at Hidden Oak Hideaway on Halloween weekend this year, and it was magical! Jessica is an amazing host, and so responsive and helpful. The attention to detail in this place is unmatched, from the coffee/tea setup, to the fully stocked kitchen area, to the cozy bed with a fan included, Jessica put so much effort into making this place comfortable. The decor inside is beautiful and aesthetically appealing to say the least. It was a wonderful getaway and I would love to go back someday. Thanks again Jessica and Donny!

Weekend Trip to N N Farms
We had a fantastic time staying at this lovely tony house as our base for a weekend of camping and adventures. We loved that we could enjoy the wilderness during the day and return to exactly what we needed to relax after a long day outdoors. A wonderful firepit and beautiful sunsets.
The property was clean, comfortable, and the host Kelli was easy to communicate with. Lots of privacy. We had a blast feeding the goats in the property. I would highly recommend staying here. I surely will be on my next trip to Arcadia!

I can’t recommend Gulf Wind and Dona’s sanctuary enough! My son and I had planned a weekend camping outing originally scheduled at another location. We quickly realized the other location was not anywhere near what had been advertised and so I quickly contacted Dona to see if she had some last minute availability on her property. Dona was wonderfully responsive and super accommodating and so we headed over to hers as soon as possible.
Our experience at Gulf Wind was beyond what we could have expected! The cabin was perfect, it was outfitted with everything we needed, and Dona also went the extra mile to bring us a firepit so we could make dinner and s’mores over the fire.
Dona gave us a tour of the sanctuary and took the time to educate us on the animals and their efforts to keep them safe and healthy. My son was so thrilled to interact with these special animals and to get to know their personalities and preferences.
We will absolutely be back. Diego’s cabin was the perfect size for us. Next time we come (and there will be a next time!) we will try the larger Florida Breeze cabin with more of our family to change things up!
Thank you, Dona and family, for being so welcoming and accommodating. You seriously enriched my son’s experience and we appreciate what you’re doing for these amazing animals.

Wow!! This was our last stop on a Florida roadtrip and I’m so glad we finished it off with this place. The cabin was clean, bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. Most importantly though, we had a tour done with Dona and got to meet all the animals! One of the highlights of our whole trip.

Great cabin. Calm, safe, and lots of space. Host was very kind. Would definitely recommend. There is a cat that will come hang out with you too. Very friendly.

Weekend Trip to The HolmesStead
The cabin on Michael’s property was absolutely adorable. My daughter and her husband stayed in the cabin and our granddaughters stayed with us in our travel trailer on the property. We loved visiting with Henry their very entertaining donkey and hanging out with the chickens. It is definitely a peaceful place to stay!!!

Weekend Trip to By the Pond...
We loved our stay in the camper! The site is located on a farm which was really neat and we were able to see baby chickens and pet pigs! We stayed in a non-fruiting season (just missed starfruit) so we weren't able to get fruit but if you're lucky enough to stay when the trees are fruitful the owner was so kind to share! We slept soundly and accessed the farm by opening and closing the gates at the entrance was easy! There are so many fun things nearby, and not too far from downtown Tampa. Definitely would stay again!

Weekend Trip to By the Pond...
We had the most amazing visit. Having my daughter get to see all the animals and fruit plants and trees. Sit by the lake and see bee hives! Definitely coming back!
