Our horse farm is located in one of the most rural areas of Southern New Jersey. This land was once occupied by The Lanape Tribe. The adjacent creek was named after Chief Alloway. Artifacts of Native Americans have been found alongside this brackish water creek. This farm was for many years a dairy farm which was passed on for 3 generations until the late 80's.
Our main horse breeds are 5 Arabians followed by 2 Thoroughbreds and 2 miniature ponies. In addition to horses you will see free range rabbits, chickens and beautiful cows.
There are many antique shops in this area which tell the rich History of Southern NJ. Cowen mall and Royal Port are my two favorites.
Another must see experience (at least once) in the area is The Cowtown Rodeo, one of the first and oldest in the country, only 14 minutes drive.
Cool and brand new Brewery opening up soon right across the rd from Cowtown and right next to The best Cowboy outfitter.

Our farm spans 41 acres. Thirty-one acres hold our homestead, while the remaining 10 acres, your camping sanctuary—sitting along side a dirt road, separated by a peaceful non-tidal creek. This setting allows you to unplug while staying close to popular destinations like Easton, St. Michaels, Cambridge, and Ocean City, MD, as well as Milford, Milton, Rehoboth, and Lewes, DE
all within an hour.
We’ve intentionally created an off-grid, calming nature experience. You’ll be surrounded by forest, open farmland and abundant wildlife. Native gardens, fruit & nut trees and herbs were planted near the tent areas in September 2024, offering beauty and a deeper connection to the land.
Enjoy thoughtfully placed gathering spaces throughout the forest, including a whimsical Forest Tea Party area and Uncontained, our cozy repurposed shipping container—perfect for reading, board games, or shelter during a summer pop-up thunderstorm. A nature -made hammock area amongst tall pine trees is perfect for afternoon naps and are provided by us (7) Fire-pit seating, picnic tables, a charcoal grill, and a propane cooktop are also available.
Walk the short Jeremiah Dixon & Charles Mason Trail, a path similar to one they would have taken in the 1700s. Follow it through the forest and across the creek to our homestead, where you can place one foot in Maryland and one in Delaware at the historic Mason–Dixon marker beneath an old wild cherry tree.
Before heading back, stop at the main farm gate to visit our friendly goats—Dixie, Dolly, and Star.

We had a wonderful time at Jill’s property for an overnight trip with our camper. We had the whole place to ourselves and enjoy the peaceful countryside while exploring the pond and beautiful tree covered driveway. Jill’s communication has been the best we’ve experienced this far!!

We stayed at campsite #1 and had a wonderful time. Loredana was so kind and super helpful in setting up firewood & eggs for our arrival. Beautiful view from our site. Nice balance of being tucked away in nature with access to some comforts.

What a great place and a gracious host. With a beautiful pastor and lovley stream, this place was heaven. Horses are literally around you and you are in the field with your tent or buscamper. Sunset and sunrise were amazing here, and you have the place all to yourself. The sites are really private and big. The grass was manicured like a football stadium. I felt bad about driving on it. lol
All kidding aside. This place was heaven. We are going back soon.

I loved camping at the farm! I booked last minute as I decided I needed a rest on my way home from a road trip, and Loredana was so accommodating. It was amazing to wake up with the horses visiting my campsite. Loredana left me fresh chicken eggs, and showed me her beautiful art gallery in the morning after making me an espresso. She’s such a lovely soul, and I know I will be returning in the future. Hopefully with my whole family this time!!

Great site and beautiful property overall! There was plenty of space for our fifth wheel to turn around and park. Power and water is conveniently located, and easy to use.
The location is convenient to Cambridge and Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge.
Great site and friendly host - we will be back if we are in the area again!

I was planning to camp at a State Park but made a last minute change, and I am so glad that I did. I stayed 2 nights, and I camp quite a bit, so I know a great camp site when I see it!
Camp layout & privacy: There are several designated spaces to choose for your tent. They are all in nicely shaded spots, and the ground was pleasantly soft. You have the entire place to yourself, with no visible neighbors, though you will hear occasional (minimal) road noise.
Amenities: Shayne has thought of everything, and then a few more things! I am used to very primitive camping, but it was cool to see that some camping essentials were also provided. This would be a great place for people who are just getting started camping! The Uncontained indoor space was amazing. It smelled of lavendar and provided a very sophisticated indoor space. The fire pit and chairs were perfect, and I made use of the throw blankets when the evening around the fire got chilly. The bathroom was very clean and well maintained, and there was even a handwashing station. I also enjoyed several hours in the hammock.
Local area: Right by the site is a small walking trail, as well as a bridge where you can feed the turtles. I did both :) The nearby towns provide any essentials you may have forgotten, and I enjoyed a river walk in nearby Federalsburg. I also was able to drive 1 hr to visit Assateague Island, which was a bucket list item for me!

Loredana is amazing! We had a wonderful time. We were a group of 19 and rented the entire ranch. The pictures don’t do this place justice but it has everything you need for a great time! The campgrounds are beautiful right by the water and there’s a tub there to bathe with fresh well water. Loredana was so helpful throughout our stay and she welcomed us into her home with open arms. The animals there are worth the trip alone. We loved her horses and ponies. Thank you we can’t wait to come back again soon.

I cannot praise Shayne’s Hipcamp enough. I stayed here with my pooch for two days and we had everything we could possibly need.
While staying at this Hipcamp, you’re offered 4 sites to tent that are all within a super quick walk to the Porta-Potty and the refurbished shipping container (Uncontained). Though the directions are very clear and consise, Shayne is still there to meet you to show you where everything is & answer any questions you have. We tent camped at the “mushroom” site which was very well shaded and close to both the bathroom and Uncontained. We had firewood waiting for us along with any camping amenities you could think of. Night 2 got colder than we’d anticipated and Shayne informed us we were more than welcome to utilize the cots in the Uncontained and stay in there which we did. She’s put a ton of work into making this spot the perfect place to getaway from the well maintained property to the whimsical tea party setup near the Uncontained to the endless supply of camping amenities you may have forgotten to pack. If we’re back in the area we know where we’ll be staying. Thank you for everything Shayne!

This is a one of a kind site, situated on a point with 180 degree water views of the Wye River. We spent our mornings watching the Watermen working their crab lines while the sun rose over the water. Our evenings consisted of watching the fish break the water as the sun went down across the river, watching the dogs swim and then drinks by the fire pit. It was private, quiet, serene and perfect. So many people on these sites say “we’ll be back!” yet rarely do. We’re already planning our next weekend at the same spot.

This was a beautiful site, private, host was able to provide wood for a reasonable fee. They also checked in after one night to make sure all was ok. We will definitely return with a boat in hopes to catch some Wye River Crabs! We are only 30 minutes away which is another advantage for us.
