Weekend Trip to Art-Funk Forest Retreat

First off, the pictures do not do this cabin justice. This place is amazing. My entire family enjoyed all of the eclectic artwork and my wife was in heaven with the extensive collection of literature. The cabin was clean and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The jacuzzi tub is a must to unwind. There's plenty of seasoned fireword for the stone fireplace and a collection of board games to enjoy. Outside we found hidden spots of whimsy with fairy lights and sculpture throughout the property. The host was very responsive and couldn't be more helpful. We would definitely recommend and will certainly be back.

Weekend Trip to Two Herons Farm

We had a lovely time at Molly and Diego's farm! The camper was very cute and cosy and provided all of the amenities we needed. Molly and Diego were very kind and friendly and checked on us after we arrived. The surrounding property was idyllic with the farms animals, bunnies and cats roaming around and coming to investigate us. The camper area felt private and the string lights were a nice touch while we enjoyed some drinks by the fire and listened to the animals settling in for the night. It was a perfect launch point to the Airline State Park Trail nearby, we would absolutely come and stay again!

Such a cool spot! We loved staying here - kids & dog included! Comfy, cozy, and the best kitchen I’ve ever had! We will definitely be staying again!

Groups and tent campers are welcome. Woodland Hills campground is easily accessed from Interstate 90. The campground’s private pond offers swimming, fishing, and paddle boating. Come in for the classic camp atmosphere and our camp store carries many convenience items and treats. Come stay on our working farm! Relax and enjoy all that our farm has to offer. You can enjoy nature and privacy or opt for a more interactive experience and join our morning or evening farm tour where you can interact with goats, sheep, mini-horses, pigs, chickens, ducks, and more. We are a small family farm where we raise animals and grow flowers/food. Our family home was built in 1739 and is situated near the street entrance. As you enter the property, you will see two cottages, the oldest corn crib in the county, and a beautifully restored 1800s barn. There is a vintage-style camper to the left of the barn, located in an area where you can have privacy overlooking the pastures. We live on the property and can assist guests with anything that they might need. Guests are welcome to stroll around the property and enjoy all it has to offer. We have a farm store and education center opening summer of 2025! Check our website to see classes and offerings that you might take advantage of during your stay. Please note, that we ask that guests do not enter the barn or fenced pasture without one of the farm owners (Molly & Diego). Our animals are accustomed to people, but livestock is unpredictable, especially to people that they do not know. There is plenty of area outside of the pasture that guests can enjoy. If you opt for a farm tour we promise that you will have plenty of interaction with our many animals.
