Bill’s cabin is our fourth lodging option that sits out on our Ridge about a half mile from the lodge building. Bill‘s cabin is off grid and has an out house. It also requires all wheel drive. The common area, houses the sauna, games, washer and dryer, and it’s just basically extra room to spread out. It also includes Wi-Fi and a refrigerator, for bills cabin guests to use. The lodge can be rented as one unit to sleep up to 10 guests. Please note: rates are for two guests only additional guests will be charged Per person per night Or The lodge can also be rented as individual units: Each unit is individually named, has private entrances, and is completely private. There is the Copper Peak, which is a studio. The Williams Peak. and The Byers Peak. The shared areas include the hot tub and sauna which are located in common area. Sorry but our zoning does not allow for any camping of any sort on our property. Come experience the Old West as it was and still is as you meander along the road through working ranches that were homesteaded back in the early 1900’s...their weathered log cabins still standing and often still occupied...others are close enough for a great “back in time” photo opportunity. As Colorado's open range law permits ranchers to graze their cattle without borders, you will often find them on the roadways or you may even get caught up in a cattle drive as the ranchers move their cattle from one pasture or paddock to another. Springtime brings all the calves and branding time! Observing the rancher, his horse, and dog working together is a genuine treat. Look along the roadside for sage grouse, in the open fields for pronghorn, down in the willows and streams for the bull moose, in the trees for the mule deer, and on top of the ridge lines for the elk. There are also bald eagle and osprey nests, alpacas, horses, sheep, and goats. All this just on the ride into Williams Fork Lodging! Our residence sits above this scenic panorama at the end of the road and adjacent to public lands tucked beneath Copper Peak on the Williams Fork Range. The elevation is roughly 8,500 feet and the 180 degree view is breathtaking...encompassing three mountain ranges, many peaks, pastures/meadows, forest, and ponds. Soak in everything from the glorious sunrises to enchanting full moons to brilliant stars that truly seem closer than they are…the view of the Milky Way is unobstructed by light pollution for outstanding celestial shows…and meteor showers are spectacular from the hot tub! We live on the same property as the Lodge and are quite self sustainable: hunting, fishing, gardening, gathering wild berries, and raising our own poultry meat. Today you might find much of the same. From Joe’s day to today it is a place where families come together to get away. The Ute Lodge is now owned by Karl and Mona Maser who celebrated 20 years of ownership summer of 2019! If you are looking for something very remote with full hook ups this is a great place to stay. This is a farm on private property. We were left alone the 3 nights we stayed. If you have scrapes left from a meal, you can feed them to the pigs. We would come back.

I’d highly recommend Bills cabin! The cabin was clean with all of Dale’s personal touches added to it. Dale also made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived by greeting us, showing us around, and quickly responding when we needed something. We will certainly be back again!

So peaceful and beautiful. Great trails for some hiking and the pond was a great place to spend some time. Loved sitting outside with morning coffee and listening to the creek and animals. Loved hearing the horses, ducks, chickens and pigs. She was nice and a pleasure to talk too and her 2 dogs are so friendly and sweet. Was very helpful and helped accommodate us with our 45’ foot rig. Had a nice area with a sand box, swings, basketball and games and an area for bonfire. Well worth the visit!

Love loVE LOVED! This hands down one of the best hip camps I've been too. We did the roundhouse. Stunning views all around. Highly recommend making it to rainbow lake if you can. Moderate hike. From MN I truly hope to come back.

Moose Haven was the perfect remote getaway - my dog didn’t want to leave! It was nice being in close proximity to so many trails, but the cabin was also great for a cozy place to read, watch hummingbirds, and relax. I also appreciated the trails recommendations from Patrick and plan to come back to explore them!

Good place to overnight. I was confused a little when driving in but everything worked out. Road is nearby but not to noisy especially after 9 pm. We didn’t use the fire pit due to a fire ban but the pit looks good.

We loved the back patio, the hot tub, the hillside deck, and the property and views so much. We stayed in the Williams Peak condo and it was perfect for the two of us on our honeymoon. We got to spend six nights there and felt very refreshed and had a wonderful time with the comfort of Dale‘s property as well as the relative isolation in middle Park versus the other areas of Colorado. Dale is a wonderful human being and both of us enjoyed our interactions with her very much. You have to absolutely get some of the cinnamon rolls, If you stay here, they are literally a little piece of Heaven. We have already discussed trying to come back here annually for a retreat and a time to reconnect in our marriage. The pictures on any of the websites just simply can’t do it justice. It is an amazing place.

Home on Wheels is a truly sweet and special place. Hosts Mona, Carl and Martina could not be nicer. It was so fun to enjoy the farm life, pet the horses, feed the pigs our scraps, listen to the chickens, play the games and sit by the community fire. We mainly hiked and fished all over the gorgeous area. We will be back!

Dale’s place was just what we needed for a little weekend getaway. The room we were in was very well stocked with cooking/cleaning equipment and the grill outside was perfect for making dinner. The views were also incredible and the property was very quiet and peaceful. We opted in to add the cinnamon buns per other reviews and we’re glad we did because they were delicious! Thank you Dale for having us, we’d love to come back!

We had a great stay here. We appreciated all the kitchen supplies and other amenities. It was very peaceful and we saw moose and deer just off our porch. We recommend the rainbow lakes trail at the end of the street it was fantastic.
