We are about 30 minutes northwest of Walsenburg, CO and about 40 minutes southeast of Westcliffe, CO.
Maximum RV length is 30 ft. No hookups are provided for RVs so please plan to be self contained during your stay. We also offer a small dry cabin (no running water or electricity) which is perfect for those looking to not get quite as close with nature. We also offer tent camping!

Pristine little cabin. The wood smells so nice, even in the bathroom. Comfortable bed and seating area. The host provided water and we appreciated the heater too. There is lighting in the cabin and outhouse. We both agreed it felt a little uncomfortable having no curtains on the windows, but the view of the mountain in the morning (perfectly framed in the window) was gorgeous. It was very windy the night we stayed and this did cause the outhouse door to open and close and rattle around throughout the night. Just needs an outdoor latch to keep it still. Overall, we were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

It's too cold to tent camp so this quaint cabin was perfect. Still cooked on camp stove outside but with the benefit of electricity to heat up water in kettle provided. Had a lovely campfire one night but mostly stayed warm with the wood burning stove. We normally bring 10 gallons of water but this had a potable well pump that saved us the trouble. It was a perfectly relaxing atmosphere and stay. The night sky was gorgeous. The hike around the property lovely. The dogs were friendly and charming. Lorie is attentive and helpful. At my questioning she suggested Beckwith Ranch a worthwhile stop. I spent 2 hours there and got a private tour! It was a wonderful stay. Oh, and the the outhouse was positively posh😊

Weekend Trip to Bear Creek Ranch
We had such a lovely time at Bear Creek Ranch. The cabin is supplied well with things like an electric kettle, tea bags, coffee, firewood, and a fan for warm evenings. We loved getting to lay in the grass in front of the cabin and see the Milky Way. We made fires in the evenings in the wood stove, so cozy. The dogs are calm and friendly, as are the horses. The outhouse was very clean and not smelly at all, and very close to the cabin. It was a perfect weekend getaway for us to slow down and reconnect.

Beautiful place nestled in a mature aspen grove. We had a wonderful time
The appliances seemed brand new, and some things are still being dialed in, but this is not a typical cabin. It is indeed cozy--and quite spacious at the same time. The front and back decks are amazing--we spent equal time on each.
The property connects directly with public land--this offers the opportunity for greater exploration. Everything is uphill, but it is doable with a bit of effort. We climbed the 1000+ feet to the top of the mountain west of the property for stunning views of the Victor mine and Pikes Peak. Cell service was available quite a bit lower.
Jeff, the host, was responsive and super accommodating.

Truly enjoyed this slice of heaven. This a ranch in ranch country, and for those seeking beauty and solitude in the great outdoors, it is a prime spot. Robert and Angela are lovely hosts. Directions are well written and the gps coordinates provided are helpful for return trips after your day of adventures. The cabin is very comfortable with stunning views of the mountain range. Starry nights made this location extra special. On site hiking trails are great for a morning stroll to stretch your legs. The cabin is quiet and private. No noisy neighbors and no light pollution. The local area offers hiking, fishing and OHV trails you won’t want to miss. A unique amenity to the area is the SilverWest airport just outside of the quaint town of Westcliffe.
