We own almost an acre of land next to the North Fork of the Big Thompson River in Glen Haven, CO (one of the cutest small towns ever!). Camp right next to the river and feel the peace of the water flowing and the bright stars in the sky. We are located 7 miles from Estes Park and a short 15 minute drive to the east entrances of Rocky Mountain National Park. Crosier Mountain trailhead is right across the street from our land. Walk down and grab the best cinnamon rolls at the Glen Haven General Store. Bring your own tents and sleeping bags for one of the best camping spots in town!

My homestead is located on 4 1/2 acres of pastureland that currently have no animals. You will turn on Powell rd to reach the back portion. The camping spots are located on the back part of the property and along a refurbished shed that includes 1 added 30 amp plug; interior electric, clean well water delivery or hose filling in warmer months as well as a separately fenced area for visiting canines (Please only non-aggressive breeds unless leashed at your camp). My Golden has an invisible fence and is not allowed to visit campers unless permitted. Fires are only permitted and shared on the back patio of my home. Activities for fun on site include corn hole, firepit on lower patio along with a propane weber grill. Only 2-3 mile from Frontier Park and an electric bike ride to downtown to tour the museums, restaurants and shops. Currently, new to hip camp and refurbishing the house and exterior so The Shed will be a working/congregating space with refrigerator/freezer, electric cooktop and indoor space with a fan so folks can escape their cars/vans. Wi-Fi is also available in the shed and the surrounding camp areas toward the building. This was my dream come true property and I'm looking forward to sharing it with road warriors like me. Weather is forever changing here and clouds roll by fast leaving the most fabulous rainbows. I just ask that no fires of any kind be set at your site because the field is a fire hazard in the dry plains.

Our historic farm house is on one half of this large, half-acre lot with giant trees all around, at the edge of historic Downtown Loveland, near the old Feed and Grain building, Artspace Artist Lofts, and historic warehouses, once the town pea-cannery buildings. Right by a river, and a road but it was not noisy for us in a camper van. Porta potty on site. General store down the road but does not open until 9am in September so we didn’t get to go. Scenic drive leading up to the site. We had no cell service so prepare ahead of time!

Very helpful when backing in. Fire pit and picnic table available. Water and electric hookups were great. We paid for the dump station but didn’t end up using it and they gave us a refund for it. Very nice people and nice fenced in yard. It is right beside a train track, but that didn’t bother us since we were used to that already.

I loved camping on this site with some friends! We had 10 total people and it was the perfect size for our group. Easy to find and only 15 minutes from Lake Estes. The picnic table, trash receptacle, and port a potty made our load light for our one night of camping. Heidi was responsive and detailed, and has a great spot with the river. As far as noise, we only heard a few cars pass by when in our tents that weren’t a real bother, but the sound of the water was peaceful to fall asleep to. Listen to the cinnamon bun advice! We wanted more than 6 buns so we had to order the day before (definitely do!). We enjoyed being right by town to walk to grab any last minute needs. Next time I would love to dine at the bed & breakfast in town for dinner. Overall, Heidi was a superhost for us!

What a wonderful experience! We took a 40’ motor home in and out easily. It’s also close to the main road in and out. Tommy and Tiffany are both wonderful people, very inviting and the camping spaces are quite private and quiet with views of horses in a pasture and goats occasionally herded one way or another. The community is awesome, very welcoming, and the onsite Rigby’s offers good food and great live music. There is a new small building with restrooms and a shower in one of them. Electric, up to 50amp (bring an adapter if you are set up for 30 amp) and water hookups. Dump station right next to property. Definitely recommend. I will go here again

The overall vibe, bubbling creek and proximity to both Rocky Mtn NP and Estes Park were fantastic. We loved our stay and recommend without hesitation for those with campers, as we had. We had no trouble with noise or traffic over a Fri-Mon stay during the very busy July/Aug season. Loved being able to walk to the General Store and the cinnamon rolls are worth the hype.

Not only were our hosts helpful way we needed a rubber washer on our RV maiden voyage, but the property is Oh so special! We saw big sky stars, and heard lovely birds singing, visited the horses and goats. The cream on the top of this extra special place is Rigby’s on property for all things restaurant bar ice cream. Rigby The Dog comes by to check on the tables. We happened to go on a Saturday night and caught some wonderful live music ! We can’t wait to be back. The hook ups all worked great, and there is a dump station on site.

Great location. Lot is fairly level. Michelle is an awesome host. Very helpful and accommodating. I had truck issues on arrival and Michelle offered local mechanic shop. Lights out is a definite recommendation for anyone in my opinion. We will return in the future.
