This property is nestled in the foothills of Loveland, Colorado and named after our livestock brand, Bar 29. We have chickens, goats, pack burros (training to be beverage burros - Davey and George), and a mustang (Whiskey) on-site along with horses/cows bordering the property. We are 28 miles from the Rocky Mountain National Park Fall River Visitor Center, 7 miles from Carter Lake, 7 miles to downtown Loveland. We have a level area in front of the barn that is ideal for RVs or travel trailers with access to electricity and a yard water hydrant. Hosts use the barn daily.

Horse ranch and nature conservation area. We have a pond you can float in and horses and mules who live here, as well as elk and pronghorn, and a bear. Dogs are welcome! We love dogs! Off leash is fine as long as they don’t chase the horses (and keep in mind that the mules do chase dogs). There is a gas firepit and a gas grill, sitting areas, a port a potty. There is a flat graded area for tents with a picnic table. We ask that there are no fires except for gas (we are still traumatized by the East Troublesome Fire that was 200,000 plus acres. We did not burn here and we’d like to keep it that way. We also ask that there is no loud music because this is the wild animals’ home first, and the antelope and elk have new babies. We are very close to Granby for the grocery store, restaurants, and the Granby Flying Heels Rodeo. We are nearby to the west entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake, Hot Sulfur Springs Resort, Lake Granby and Fraser/Winter Park and all that Grand County Colorado has to offer. Also close by is Granby Ranch for downhill mountain biking and golf. We are about two hours from Denver. We were unable to stay at the ranch due to the weather and us not wanting our tent to be wet. We were able to pick up our farm fresh eggs and Martin was great communicating with us. We were disappointed the weather changed our plans.

How cool is it to be greeted by horses when you arrive or wake up in the morning. We were looking for something away from touristic camps and this met our needs just fine. Basic but quiet.

Great spot and Martin and his family were very welcoming and hospitable. Our 3 year old loved visiting with the horse and donkeys and helping feed the chickens and goats everyday. ATT cell signal isn’t good in this general area and wifi from barn was tough to stay connected to while in the camper but it was also nice to disconnect for a bit.

Lovely spot nestled in the foothills leading to Rocky Mountain national Park. 50 amp and 30 amp power and water readily available.. HOST family very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you need a place to stay near the park and can’t get anything up in the air national park. Loveland is about 10 minutes away with great restaurants and brew pups everywhere.

Prime time location! Martin came by when we arrived and made us feel at home. Nice quiet spot with easy access from the road. There are lots of RV parks around the area, but this spot beats them all.

Gracious host. Wide open spaces. Friendly dogs. Livestock with personality. What more can you ask for. Host Martin was friendly, offered up plenty of help and accommodations. Close enough to Loveland’s amenities and far enough away to feel the “Getaway” feeling. Thanks to our host for everything.
