This place was great! So thoughtfully designed -- even though there aren't any trees, the campsites are situated so that you can't really see one another when you're in your little space. Lots of little touches, like the lights along the pathway, a nice playground in the park, the cantina in the middle, make it a really pleasant stay. And the showers! Very very nice showers. The host, Adam, was really friendly and accommodating, and we had a really nice stay the very last day of the season. Will definitely return!

The campsite and camp grounds are very nice with great amenities. Provided grills, chairs, table, and coverings at each individual site make packing and arriving a breeze. The camp ground bathrooms, equipment rentals, and the ease of firewood ($) and water are similarly great. We had 2 great nights and hope to bring groups with us next time!

What a great place to stay! The campsite I stayed at was super private, yet easy walking distance to the (clean and functional) bathrooms, showers, and incredibly well-stocked kitchen area. The views are beautiful, sitting at the base of the Great Sand Dunes National Park. This was a perfect place to stay and very close to Zapata Falls and other great hiking spots.
The hostess was super friendly, too. Overall, I highly recommend this beautiful, private and serene Hipcamp.

My sister and I had so much fun camping here and will definitely be back! The hosts are darling and so helpful, views and amenities are beautiful, and we had no complaints. We felt extremely safe as two young girls as well- there was an overnight manager on the scene in case of emergencies:) thank you!!

This is a unique and amazing place! We camped here two years ago and loved it again. The grounds are immaculate and so carefully thought out. Our host was very kind and available. I highly recommend this place for a unique experience. Watching the moon, the star, skies and dramatic Mountain View’s. The solitude is therapeutic.

This was by far the most welcoming campsite I’ve ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, Dexter, Bella, and Sarah greeted us with kindness and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Camp Dune is absolutely beautiful, and what really stood out was how much the hosts genuinely cared about our experience. The community bonfire, the warm hospitality, and the unforgettable sunrise and sunset views made this stay one of a kind.

WOW! We loved camping on this wonderful land. What a magical place. We really had a great experience, and the campfire with s'mores was really great, too. There were some sandboards for rent, which saved us a lot of trouble, too! It was windy when we arrived and we had a bit of advice about how we could make sure our tent was sturdy! Also! WOW! GREAT HOSTS!!!

We stayed in a tent. Each site is private and far from other guests. Very organized, has everything you need, cooking stove, grill, fire pit, table, chairs, you name it. All the amenities super clean, they even have breakfast!
The host was very friendly and stopped by to say hi and ensured us that if we needed anything that we forgot to bring he probably has it. I wish we stayed more than one night.

Absolutely loved this tent site! The views were nothing short of spectacular. At night, the sky lit up with stars like you wouldn’t believe. The campsite itself was super spacious and private—we couldn’t see any of the other campers, which made it feel like we had the whole place to ourselves. Perfect spot for anyone looking to unplug and soak in some serious natural beauty.

Great place to stay - close to the sand dunes, Zapata falls, and the hot springs! We pitched our own tents which got a little sketchy with the wind at times but had a nice grove to tent and have a fire. Prepare to get dusty as the dirt (sand?) is very fine! Sarah greeted us and showed us around the site. She was very kind and responded quickly to texts. Bathrooms were very clean, the outdoor shower was amazing, and the hammocks were magical. Overall the kids said this was the best camping trip they’ve taken this summer!

Camp Dune was amazing! The hosts were nice and communicated well before and during our stay. The facilites and sites were clean and the camp had great amenities (cantina area with cooking supplies, communal fire pit and hammocks). Our dogs loved being off leash and we loved star gazing! AMAZING LOCATION! Definitely stay here! Owners were very friendly and made us feel right at home. Bathroom was exquisite. (don't usually say that about a bathroom, but it was true). THE SKY was incredible. We could see a beautiful sunset and a beautiful sunrise from our camping spot. We have never seen such amazing skies, but we could see so many stars and the Milky Way! Best part of our trip.

Land and area was clean, and camp ground very spaced out! Bathrooms were very nice! The hosts are fantastic, friendly, and accommodating. Make sure you bring an awning to keep the sun off you and your goods.
