So peaceful and beautiful. Great trails for some hiking and the pond was a great place to spend some time. Loved sitting outside with morning coffee and listening to the creek and animals. Loved hearing the horses, ducks, chickens and pigs. She was nice and a pleasure to talk too and her 2 dogs are so friendly and sweet. Was very helpful and helped accommodate us with our 45’ foot rig. Had a nice area with a sand box, swings, basketball and games and an area for bonfire. Well worth the visit!

Home on Wheels is a truly sweet and special place. Hosts Mona, Carl and Martina could not be nicer. It was so fun to enjoy the farm life, pet the horses, feed the pigs our scraps, listen to the chickens, play the games and sit by the community fire. We enjoyed our stay especially the proximity to Gypsum so we could attend the concert there. We also loved the Eagle River near by and the scenic views all around.

Weekend Trip to Cabin on the river at Welder Ranch

Great getaway! Everyone on site was friendly and helpful. Place was cozy and peaceful. Lots of hiking and fishing on site and near by. Definitely a little gem hiding in the mountains.

The views were amazing, the cabin was incredibly cozy, and the record player was a nice touch. Most comfortable bed we've slept on in a cabin in a long time as well! We will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Vail Valley BackCountry Access

Tent camped here with a larger group after hiking hanging lake! It was a great place to rest coming from Denver that gave us access to some supplies and stopping in Vail before. Host was awesome and kind! If you are coming from Denver and not familiar with the area, odds are you won’t be able to have a fire due to local restrictions, so bring a light or lantern!

1 night at S.L.umber Yard At FREIGHT

S.L. umber Yard and Leadville have so much personality, I wish I stayed longer than a night. This stay was the end of my 8-night trip through Colorado and it’s one of my favorites. The Cora Cabin is so dang cute and has all the amenities for a comfortable stay, including a record player and vintage vinyls!I traveled with my dog and the staff had dog bowls and a pet bed waiting for him in the cabin. The bed was very comfortable and it was convenient having a kitchenette. I was concerned about the cabin being right next to the train tracks but it’s my understanding the train only runs twice a day - at least this time of year. The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful.

1 night at Stoneyard Distillery Awesome Possum RV Camping

We like that it was close to a walking trail. We enjoyed eating at a restaurant not far away. It was very convenient to I-70. The owner was really nice.
