I’d highly recommend Bills cabin! The cabin was clean with all of Dale’s personal touches added to it. Dale also made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived by greeting us, showing us around, and quickly responding when we needed something. We will certainly be back again!

4 nights at The Fisherman's Cabin

We loved our trip to the Fishermans Cabin! The sun would shine down on the side of the mountains to our south each evening at sunset for a stunning view. We were a ways from the river and thought we would be closer and also found out we couldn't fish the river because the fisherman's club has bought up the land around the river making it inaccessible to others. But we didn't have to go far to find a place to stick our feet in the river. The cabin was cozy and clean and well stocked with essential needs. Toilet shack was clean and not far at all from the cabin. Highly recommend a trip to this place. Lots to do and lots to see in that area! Or, a great place to just lay in the hammock, also provided, and enjoy the smell of pine and enjoy watching wildlife. Thank you Simon for the wonderful experience. We alos got to meet the grounds keeper who lived just down from there ,,Bearcat I believe was his nickname...super sweet man and he brought more supplies and water for us and offered more blankets if we needed. The cabin is really cute. It was very clean and well kept. If you don't have 4 wheel drive, the walk up the driveway is kind of steep though. And the bed is kind of small for slightly larger people

Super cute, quaint, cozy cabin!!! Has everything you need. We loved the area. Spent time at Wellington Lake just minutes up the road! To no fault of the owner, just beware that there are lots of flies and a bit of mosquitoes. We are spoiled in Colorado so this was surprising.

This was our second stay at Dale's cabin. We book through Hip Camp a lot and she is truly the best host of them all with hospitality that cannot be matched. Every detail of this cabin has been so carefully curated and you are sure to see plenty of wildlife here. This time we took Dale up on her offering of fresh eggs and cinnamon rolls and both were delicious. We will continue to stay here any time we are in this part of Colorado.

This cabin was perfect for us! The setup was great and super well thought out, from the side sink to wash dishes to the bathroom - everything was so clean and nice. The solar bags heated the water really well. We had a fun time playing the games inside the cabin. Super close to beautiful hiking. Great fishing throughout the town of Bailey as well! Definitely recommending this spot to friends!

Simon’s fishermen cabin is adorable! It is perfectly quaint and provides a nice propane fueled heater for the cold in the winter. It was beautiful and also private. It was clean inside the cabin although the dishes/pans were not entirely cleaned. The hammocks from the photos looked like they had been torn down and the outside of the cabin could’ve been tidied up more. My partner and I did have a wonderful stay and enjoyed the card games that were provided as well.

Perfect little spot for a getaway! Quiet and peaceful with great mountain views and river noises. Cute cabin and outhouse. I was able to spend lots of time reading and enjoying nature in the provided hammocks. It was also very easy to cook and prep meals, and the cabin heater definitely came in handy during my mid-December stay. I could see all the neighbors but not hear any which was nice - the sweet neighbor pup Coco came to say hi at one point though! The only downsides for me were not having a lock inside the cabin, and some of the kitchenware was dirty. I have already recommended this cabin to friends and would definitely come back sometime for another getaway to recharge 😊

Had a wonderful time here with my family celebrating my dad's 70th bday! Comfy and warm cabin with everything we needed for a comfy stay, despite the cold weather in November! Easy to find and communicate with the host. Highly recommend!
