This area is a 10 minute drive to multiple reservoirs and the Dream Stream which is some of the best fishing in Colorado. Boats, rafts, etc are allowed on different reservoirs. We have 30/50amp sites (shade and partial shade) around our lake, 20 amp in the "upper campground," and dry camping (full facilities) along the Arkansas River (Gold Medal fishing) with access for all campers for fishing and floating. We are conveniently located on Hwy 50, in Bighorn Sheep Canyon, and have all sorts of rental options for your outdoor adventure needs. We have four entrances marked by sail flags into the campground, two by the lake, one near the bathhouse, and one by the post office (on our property). The map of the Arkansas River has our campground listed! Adventure awaits with home to the highest mountain peaks in Colorado and the river and 102 miles of Trout Gold Medal Water. There is access to white water rafting, guided fishing, and fishing lessons. There are at least 5 hot springs within 60 miles of Twin Bridges Campground. Salida is considered the white-water rafting capitol of the US by some and has a whitewater park and surfing wave. Salida area is also home to a ton of hiking (14'ers anyone?) and mountain biking trails. The Royal Gorge is a quick 30 minute drive with restaurants and other fun near Canon City. The Sand Dunes are 90 minutes and Monarch Ski Area is 45, we have some of the best bird watching! Warbling Vireo, Western Wood-peewee, Cassin's Kingbird to name a few.

This is one of the most beautiful camp sites we have been to this year. Tim is great to work with and we appreciate him for sharing this property with us. If you get a chance to book, I would highly suggest you do. Spending time fishing with my young grandaughter was the best part of our trip. and the fishing was excellent. I also loved being able to take my dogs without any worries. Just a beautiful property.

This site is absolutely stunning. Super secluded, no one near you, wide open with amazing views. Our dogs had a blast running around the site. Road is a bit bumpy getting in. Definitely arrive during daytime as you could miss the entrance. Because it is in the open, it can get a bit windy. Would definitely recommend this stay if you're looking for off grid seclusion.

Got to enjoy stores by the fire next to a serene beautiful pond and took the canoe out to visit 'rock island' with the kid. Dog friendly and they might have had the best time of us all. My partner and I had a great time at this campsite. The first night we had the area to ourselves and it was super nice to see the bright stars. Time introduced himself and talked for awhile. Good guy. He got us more firewood when he noticed us struggling to keep the fire alive. There were two dogs who came to visit in the morning and it was sweet until one got mud everywhere and chased after our car when we were trying to leave. Great area and I recommend for anyone. I would camp here as a single woman even

Idyllic spot with trees, a small lake and the solitude we were seeking for tent camping. We had some great conversations around the shared campfire and the host Tim was accommodating and full of stories. There are a couple local dogs that come to visit daily and get along with everyone! A little piece of paradise!
