Great place to stay. The location along the Rio Blanco is serene. The owner, Rich, couldn't have been more accommodating. And the stars Thursday night were jaw dropping. We plan on returning.

Had such a peaceful time camping here. The host was super groovy, accommodating and friendly. I felt super safe. The amenities were super convenient. Wish I had more time! Stellar wildlife and great vibes overall. Would give a zillion stars if I could ☺️

Rich was kind and accommodating! The camp was clean and felt close to nature, and fairy close to both Pagosa and Chama. We will certainly keep this on our list of places to stay in So Colorado!

We really enjoyed the beautiful grounds the hospitality and the location was perfect for what we were doing in Pagosa. The only issue I had was there’s only one shower one bathroom for a lot of peopl. I would definitely go there again. It’s a little pricey, but worth the money. Oh by the way, make sure you bring money for the shower. Lol

Weekend Trip to The Last Resort on the River

We arrived late and checked out early. A quick overnight on our journey. So we didn’t get a chance to experience everything. I can say the host was wonderful. Walked us to our site. Explained everything about the grounds. They seem to have everything you could need. We backed our van to within 15 feet of a running creek. Nice. Beautiful location, not far from Pagosa Springs (10 miles ish). Would definitely return when in the area. Thanks!

My wife and I spent 2 nights and absolutely loved it. William was a great host and made us feel welcome, and the camping area had everything we needed to cook and clean. It’s a gorgeous spot, quiet, and lots of deer and wildlife about. The breakfast and coffee provided each morning were an extra great touch, as well as the green treats. Highly recommend!

Beautiful view! The campsite is directly behind the house as shown in the pics, but was not a problem for us. The host was very friendly. The location is close to town, and we walked to the Coffee Bear every morning to get our day started. Staying at this location was easy and relaxing. Thank you for your hospitality!

Blake was an excellent and generous host! The campsite was beautiful and our group had a great time together in the meadow! It was so fun exploring the property. This campsite had awesome amenities nearby including a super clean bathroom and shower.

Dianne and Blake were good friendly hosts! They made sure to get us a level spot, next to an electric hookup. The land surrounding the campsite was beautiful to explore! We only got to one waterfall this time, but we will see them all next time.:)

The Last Resort on the River was wonderful! The bathrooms are clean, the skies are dark, the traffic noise is negligible at night, and if you’re a digital nomad, the WiFi is great, especially in the riverside sites 5 & 6. You won’t be sorry you stayed here!
