The 160 acre ranch was homesteaded by my grandfather over 100 years ago. He was an engineer. **Please note that the GPS will take you 300 feet away from my property, please follow my clear instructions that are sent in your welcome email. There is signage that you can also follow. ** The plan was to use this property as summer grazing for his cattle. The cattle were wintered at the other ranch about 10 miles away, which was homesteaded by my great grandfather. Because my grandfather could survey, he made sure the property lines zigzaged up the valley so the small creek was in the middle to provide water for the animals. He chose well. It is a beautiful, quiet place with elk, deer and wild turkeys. There are tons of wild flowers in the summer. Columbines, the Colorado state flower, wild roses, paintbrushes and lots of wild chokecherries. With nice views of nearby mountains, open pastures, evergreen forests and aspen groves, it looks like it did 100 years ago. Plus, there are a couple of ponds for your dogs to cool off in. Since the first cattle, the ranch has also been home to goats, chickens, horses, and now more goats, alpacas and llamas. And of course the Great Pyrenees ranch dogs. I had a house built a few years ago and live on the property full time. The ranch is surrounded by Pike National Forest with the Colorado Trail connecting the property in a number of places. Some of the highest ranked mountain bike trails are nearby. There are lots of places on and off the property to hike, mountain bike and ride your horse. It has just about everything you might need: small grocery store, coffee shops, gas, laundry, a dollar store, hardware store, camping and sports equipment, brew pub, winery, a few restaurants, potable water station and more.

Gambling, hiking, biking, fishing, Florissant fossil bed with giant tree stumps, horseback riding, waterfalls, wolf and wildlife sanctuary, balloon rides, mining museums, our majestic Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Royal Gorge bridge, Rio Grande train rides and more! If you like to shoot arrows bring your bow! The terrain is rocky so, we highly recommend to keep your eyes on your small kids as well as when they are on the lofts, for security reasons. Reiki healing sessions are available upon request as well as Reiki training by a Certified Reiki Master. Smoking is permitted outside when not under a fire ban. Hipcamper under 21 years old are welcome only under adult supervision. We recommend to bring your own towels and a flashlight since our lodging has an out side toilet. Please don't expect a flash toilet, we want to emphasize that we offer a porta potty. We are charging a very small cleaning fee, expecting our guests to leave the place as they found it. Welcome to MTNMN Ranch! We are only 9 Miles from Royal Gorge access and have a creek on the property. While staying with us you can enjoy horseback riding, hiking and fishing within 5 minutes from the site. Our property is always gated and secure. Our sites are best suited for RV or van campers and feature large and level parking areas. We also offer 110 electrical hookup with a maximum vehicle length of 50 ft. Potable water and trash bins are also available there are no direct hook ups for 30 am electric or potable water but we have water access just not a direct hook up.

The tiny cabin has a propane heater to make this a beautiful and cozy experience. It is a quiet and peaceful place located 25 minutes from Cripple Creek (if you like gambling) , and 45 minutes from Woodland Park where you can find restaurants, supermarkets, rock and gem shops and more attractions typical to a tourist town. A place to find peace, and nature with lots of wildlife, you may get a glimpse of a bear, mountain lion, fox, wild turkeys, deer, cayote. Enjoy the outdoor fireplace (weather permitting), watching a beautiful night sky, in a clear sky you can spot the Milky way and some star constellations. The place is surrounded by many tourist attractions. Gambling, hiking, biking, fishing, Florissant fossil bed with giant tree stumps, horseback riding, waterfalls, wolf and wildlife sanctuary, balloon rides, mining museums, our majestic Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Royal Gorge bridge, Rio Grande train rides and more! If you like to shoot arrows bring your bow! The terrain is rocky so, we highly recommend to keep your eyes on your small kids as well as when they are on the lofts, for security reasons. Reiki healing sessions are available upon request as well as Reiki training by a Certified Reiki Master. Smoking is permitted outside when not under a fire ban. Hipcamper under 21 years old are welcome only under adult supervision. We recommend to bring your own towels and a flashlight since our lodging has an out side toilet. Please don't expect a flash toilet, we want to emphasize that we offer a porta potty. We are charging a very small cleaning fee, expecting our guests to leave the place as they found it. Great little spot to camp for a bit. Dan is a great guy and was very helpful to me when I had some issues with my rv. Dan went put of his way to be helpful and offer options for me to get my rig fixed. I will definitely return. The view is great. Spots are near the road, but it is quiet and lots of animals to keep you company and views to calm you.

Debbie is an amazing host and this HipCamp is a beautiful site for small and large groups alike. We’re return visitors and Debbie helped us reserve the right size campsite for our growing group. The site is beautiful and well maintained and it’s perfect for kids - we felt perfectly safe letting the kids explore on their own. Debbie also let us pet and feed the goats that live on the property. The kids enjoyed seeing the llamas and ponies, as well. Would heartily recommend this campsite to anyone.

Madeline's property was so tranquil and just a short drive into town. With views of Pikes Peak and plenty of space to spread out. We discovered we were a bit larger than the recommended RV length, but Madeline and her Mom were so accommodating! The property is peaceful and we could let our dogs off leash, which is a plus. Especially for our furry full-time travelers to stretch their legs. I would highly recommend a stay here!

this was one of the coolest places we have ever stayed! my husband never went to summer camp as a kid, so he was really giddy about it! the pond was awesome, our dogs loved it so much, they didn’t want to get out… they truly swam for hours. the property itself was beautiful and quiet, it was exactly what we were hoping for! thank you tim for allowing us to enjoy blue mountain ranch, we hope to be back!

This is our third time at Debbie's property and once again it was wonderful. Our group of 14 were able to spread out amongst the aspens and we even experienced a night visit from a herd of elk. The tables, chairs, and canopy next to the fire pit were much appreciated as use for our camp kitchen. We're already planning our trip for next year.
