You may see the occasional vehicle or hiker on the road or hear someone doing some yard work, but it is generally very quiet and secluded at the yurt. Our neighbors have chosen to live in Marble for its privacy and tranquillity. Please show them respect by keeping the noise down and leaving them be. If you have questions or need help, call us from the yurt landline. Winter camping experience/equipment and a high-clearance 4x4 vehicle with severe snow-rated tires and chains may be required to access the yurt Oct-April. During large snow events, driving to the yurt may be impossible in any vehicle. Skiing to the yurt may be an option Dec - Feb. Gear sleds are available at the yurt for your use.

The ranch is a great base camp to wineries, Moab, Telluride, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, fishing, boating, hiking, trails and hundreds of open BLM land for Razor riding. Check us out.

Easy to find and easy to camp, the Double M Ranch is the perfect location for adventures across the Grand Junction area and up to the Mesa. We really enjoyed the solitude (even with active farming operations and the airport nearby). It is exactly what we look for in a HipCamp, with the added bonus of water and power! The long view is what attracted us to the site, and it will be what brings us back next time we come to Grand Junction.

Lovely spot overlooking the hills & farmland surrounding Grand Junction. Very close to town and perfect for our needs - we were renting an Airstream Bambi to test it out for a possible future purchase. Needed to be in an easy location & flat spot for Bambi host to deliver, and for us to get used to the van. View from site was expansive and we enjoyed watching the planes come and go from the airport. The Highline canal at the end of the road is great for a walk or bike, we enjoyed our 90 minute 'workout'. Kelly & Chris have their site set up very nicely with picnic table, water and electricity, & with the Bambi's awning, we had enough shade, even in the middle of the day. They've also planted trees which will be good for shade & privacy in the future. Highly recommended if you are passing through and looking for somewhere quiet & easy.

We had a great stay in the ranch for a couple of nights, Dave & Barb were kind and thoughtful hosts. We (our dog included) enjoyed walking around the ranch and saying hello to the horses every morning. The temperatures were high when we stayed but the cabin had an AC that kept us cool when needed, which we especially appreciated. The cabin felt private but not remote, which was perfect for our needs.

This is the 2nd time at this Hipcamp spot. It is very quiet and no traffic. It is full sun but because of the orientation of the parking spot, I was able to get part shade in the morning and evening. They have recently planted a couple of trees for future shade. It is on the edge of BLM public land and great for dog walking.

Zenzen Gardens is now the official tasting room for Alfred Eames Cellars, a local winery located 3 miles south of Paonia. Come enjoy some local wines in the garden with a beautiful mountain view. Our tasting room is open May 1st to November 1st from 12 PM - 6 PM. We will be hosting several Farm to Table Dinners along with a Summer Concert Series, Water Lantern Festival and Masquerade.  There is veranda seating to enjoy the beautiful flower gardens and where you can access the internet. We are located on Highway 330 East in Collbran, CO. We are 9 miles past the Vega turn heading East. We sit around 7600 elevation. There are two horse corrals on site. Water accessible but you must bring your own feed. Let’s start with our main cabin! Our main cabin fits up to 8 people. It has a fully equipped kitchen with stove & oven, washer/dryer, Full bathroom. This cabin has access to WiFi. Hot water and has propane and wood heating options. Cabin Sunset- This cabin is cosy and inviting, sleeps 2 people with full bathroom! Hot water, propane heater and kitchen supplies that are needed. Cooler supplied in room also! WIFI access Cabin Sunrise - This cabin is cosy and inviting, sleeps 2 people with full bathroom. Comfortable beds, hot water, and propane heater. Has kitchen area with a fridge, stove and washer dryer combo for seasonal rentals. Cooler for short term guest supplied in room. Fire pit located outside cabin! WIFI access Cabin Wildflower- This cabin is our second biggest. This has 2 rooms, separated with a kitchen and full bathroom, kitchen is supplied with fridge/freezer for seasonal rentals, a washer and full kitchen utensils. WiFi access. Cabin has fire pit located outside and a usable grill! A cooler is provided in room for short term guest Cabin Rustic- This cabin is very unique and off grid! Sleeping for up 8 guest. It recently had solar electricity installed, outhouse, outdoor shower unit with hot water, (outdoor shower not available in winter moths) and WiFi! Wood burner and propane heating options. These cabins are very different in their own ways, they run on solar, but we do have a back up generator for emergency use! All our cabins have electricity! Generator will run 3 times a day in high power demand or low sunlight conditions to ensure there is always power and access to utilities. 7am-9am 12pm-2pm 6pm-8pm These cabins are great for all occasions, hunting, glamping, family occasions, party’s, wedding events, ATVS, snowmobiles, horse back riding, star glazing, hiking! you name it we can for sure cater for it!

We love this slice of Western Colorado beauty... so close to the Grand Mesa, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, and the Uncompaghre Plateau. So many outdoor possibilities! We build a brand new shower house with flushing toilet to share between all guests as we also have 2 yurts. We also welcome pets that don't chase the free range chickens and are on a leash when out n about. We have recently installed a Pergola for shade! Tent camping is in side the square (if you'd like!) as its lined with peegravel. There is a gate at the entrance of the field and there is a horse fence around the field is twine, so please use the gate! The share shower and bath house has on-demand hot water and a flushing toilet. We encourage all guests to be tidy and efficient as the yurts also share the same bath house.

We moved here in 1997 The home has had major remodels done on it. The lake is an old gravel pit to make road base for local road construction. The buoys in the lake are scuba projects from the local college CMU, and hold lots of fish. Other nesting platforms are for our local Geese and they hatch out in April-June. We airbnb 2 rooms in our home as a shared facility and have airbnbs in Northern Ca and Baja. Our home is off limits for campers as we need to respect the space for our other airbnb guests. But in an emergence please call, cell service works fine. port-a potty is gone for the winter November-April. port-a potty is clean and works great, May- Oct. If you are here in the winter you may use the trees or Mavericks gas station in 1.5 miles away. The first two pets are included at no additional cost. For any additional pets beyond the first two, there is a fee of $10 per pet, per night. Please make sure to add the Pet fee extra accordingly.
