We believe in campfires, starry nights, good laughs, exploration, a deep sleep and an early rise. The mountains are a place to get back to basics, a place to explore, to breathe. So turn off your phone and turn on your senses. It’s important to us that our guests don’t feel they are renting a tent/RV site or a camper as much as they’re immersing themselves into the outdoor experience. You may just want to sit outside and read for days, enjoy campfires and eat s'mores. For more adventurous, there's a full slate of self-guided recreational activities, such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, ATVing, rock climbing, biking, natural water slides, stand up paddle boards, bird watching, available in the area. We do have modern conveniences such as wifi internet; however, we encourage our guests to “unplug” and immerse in the slow paced life instead. At Paradise Shores, we believe in protecting people, animals and the planet. We make sure that the majority of products we use at our camp is recycled, composted, or re-used. We prefer to use products that are produced in a sustainable way and avoid those that aren't. We are continuously reducing the amount of waste we generate and actively promote recycling of aluminum, plastic, glass, and cardboard. We pack our own recycling and haul it to the nearest recycling facility which is an hour away. We co-opt the drive with other activities to reduce waste. We don’t use individually packaged toiletries or one-use products. We use plant and planet friendly detergent. We're based in a desert. We share our precious water with the entire planet. With only 326 million cubic miles of water on the earth, the decreasing amounts of access to quality fresh water is alarming to us. We monitor how we use water in our day-to-day activities and are constantly working on ways to reduce our consumption of fresh-water resources. We hope you can help us maintain this greener camping! We hope Paradise Shores Camp becomes your home as it is ours. It’s located in one of the most spectacular areas in the world. We’re surrounded on three sides by the high Sierra Nevada Mountains. Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne Meadows, Mono Lake, June Lake, Virginia Lakes, and Twin Lakes, as well as the historic gold-mining town of Bodie, CA are all within a short drive from our place. We're proud to know this area intimately and are excited to share the secret spots with you. The excellent hiking/running trails including the Pacific Crest Trail, thousands of miles of ATV, dirt bike and mountain bike trails are accessible right from our camp or within a short drive from here. The surrounding terrain offers endless activities and unbelievable scenery in remote wilderness settings. Pet Policy All our RV & Tent sites are pet friendly and we allow up to two dogs per reservation for a small fee. We can also accommodate up to two four-legged campers in our pet-friendly Baja or Tatra trailers for a small fee, we ask that they stay off the furniture (beds, sofas etc.) and are not left in the rental unattended. We love dogs, but sadly won’t be able to accommodate heavily shedding pets that aren’t house trained. Additionally, our insurance will not allow "aggressive breeds" that include any mix of: Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Doberman, German Sheppard. Please pick up after your pup and use a leash when at the camp. Thank you in advance for your consideration and help in keeping our camp a mellow and enjoyable place for everyone.

Every room is light and bright. We back up to open forest where you get a sense of privacy. A private hillside with provided sleds allows kids many hours of fun. The large kitchen is well stocked. A complimentary bottle of wine awaits you. We are very close to Spicer SNO park and Bear Valley Ski resort. The space The home contains three bedrooms (2 bedrooms + loft) and sleeps 6 comfortably. NO STAIRS! The driveway pulls right up to the front door. We are one of only a few properties that have no stairs to navigate to the front door. HANDICAP-FRIENDLY Our property is handicap and elderly friendly! There is a queen room on the entry-level floor making it easy for handicappe or elderly to enjoy the house without climbing stairs. Access to the great views from the backyard deck also requires no stairs or steps. Elderly individuals will find the home easy to navigate and vacation in. THE KING ROOM (UPSTAIRS) The large upstairs bedroom features a California king bed, sitting area, walk-in closet, and a private balcony to enjoy an early morning coffee while looking out over the 50-mile view. Be sure to leave time to admire the one-of-a-kind 4' X 6' stained glass window, a centerpiece decoration of distinctive beauty created by a locally-renowned artist. Our unique property is an old working ranch with 35 acres of meadows, an old cabin, barn, natural springs, an inground pool, hot tub and swimming cistern. Our guest house is near the road and easily accessible but still very private. Roads are flat and parking easy. You have full and private access to the house, hot tub and pool areas. Near the pools: outdoor shower, sink, lounge chairs, covered and sunny areas. Our pools are not heated (and do not have the ability to be heated) and are covered in the winter months (November to April). My husband and our little girls loved our stay at Malihsa’s Fox Den. It was my husband’s birthday and Malihsa even set up a “Happy Birthday” sign for him. The Fox Den had a cute fox theme and modern amenities like WiFi, 2 flat screen TV’s, and an Alexa that helped us control the air and lights. There was also a grill, hot tub and a fire pit on the property. The front patio and back patio were perfect spots for our family to hang out. I highly recommend the Fox Den. It was clean, cozy and modern. We hope to be back soon.

My Pine View lodge stay was over the top in many ways, lots of nice details to make you feel at home. There was everything needed to enjoy dinners on the deck, including a beautiful forest view along with peace and quiet. The host, Gary, kept in touch with suggestions for activities and dining out options. He was most gracious in his communications and very easy to work with on arrangements. An A+++ experience.

Overall a great stay. We visited during April so the other camp spots were closed. It was quiet except for the occasional car/trucks driving by. 30-45 min scenic drive to mono lake depending on the visit location. It would have been close to Bodie state park except the regular road to the park was closed in mid April. The long way took about an hour on gravel and dirt road still worth the visit though. Very close to the natural hot spring.

The little fish house was perfect for my fiancé and I! Coming back to the tiny house was super nice after long days at Yosemite! The tub is super peaceful and stars at night were so lovely! While the bed is in a loft it is super comfy! Kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils you could need! The bathroom was fully stocked as well for a nice hot shower! The composting toilet did throw us for a loop because we aren’t use to them. However, no scents or anything bad was coming from it so it was cool. It was just the right size and drive away from the park! Thank you for an enchanting home to retreat to!

Such a great place to rest your head while exploring the surroundings of Yosemite. The directions to get to this secluded cabin were spot on. This tiny cabin has everything you need and I plan on staying here again in the future! Great fire pit and hot tub to enjoy at night was the perfect way to end each evening. Overall, this cabin was everything I expected and much more.
