We take great pride in extending a warm and welcoming space for all our visitors and extending the invitation to campers was a great next step. We have listings ranging from yurts to shipping containers, an old water tower converted to a vintage trailer and canvas tents. We are based in between the middle fork of the Yuba river right where it meets up with Oregon Creek. If you like a long walk it is 2.5 miles down the dirt road to Oregon Creek and the middle fork of the Yuba. Driving takes 5 to 10 mins. The other direction is the largest lake in our county Bullards Bar Reservoir and Emerald Cove Marina. We are 1 mile down Marysville Rd. from a launch called dark day. There is a trailhead at the top of overflow boat parking for a public swimming hole on the lake. On our property, we have a main house with its own private facilities such as a kitchen, shower, and bath. On the land, we have 9 total unique cabin and canvas tent structures converted into boutique-like campsites. We have an epic outdoor entertaining kitchen and patio with an outdoor pizza oven and a little dog rinse behind the outdoor shower. The bathhouse is right across the way and provides a private but shared guest shower house, tub and sink. Like anywhere in the woods there is an hour at sunset when you may have mosquitoes down near the sites in the spring and some of the summers depending on the year. We have a natural spray for that or fans in the kitchen. Off the path, you may find poison oak in the thick of the woods. So please stay on the marked trails.

A small Nevada County community far removed from town, modern day North San Juan is part hippie, part isolationist, part new age and part conservative.It's only a 20 minute drive from downtown Nevada City, but since you have to drive up and down the heavily forested, windy river-canyon road, it feels rather remote. When you get there, it consists of less than ten businesses scattered around the mountains, a bushel of dreadlocked hippies, a bunch of pot farms, a vineyard, and LOTS of empty, undeveloped wood, making North San Juan a really beautiful place, surrounded, as it is, by forested mountains and rivers. We had a great time at the Shamballa cabin over the weekend! It’s a beautiful rustic cabin in the middle of nature. You’ll get the feel of glamping (only wood burning stove for heat, no bathrooms in the cabin or running hot water (but flush toilet and hot water sink and shower in main house)), but you’ll be staying in a beautiful cabin with comfortable beds, a kitchen to prepare meals and a cozy place to relax. We enjoyed exploring the area and hiking the Dragons nest trail (get ready for some exercise as you go up to the top!). There is so much land to see and we only saw a little bit! I imagine it’s beautiful in the Winter months also! Thank you Adam and we hope to visit another time!

The most unique hipcamp I've ever been! So much to do and so much to see, we had tons of fun! Main cabin is extremely comfty, equipped with everything you need. Deja is super friendly and flexible to our last min change, truly appreciate the flexibility. Oh, did I mention Deja's hipcamp is only 10 mins away from Oregon Creek? We spent whole day there it's so beautiful. It's perfect in every way, we will definitely come back.

This land is magical. It has the most beautiful trees and spring and variety of landscape to plant your tent. I stayed in a cabin that was huge with two very comfortable bedrooms and beds and a kitchen. It’s an eco lodge so electricity is solar and toilets are compost so be mindful of that but there’s also a guest flush toilet if really needed. So many trails to hike on. A real treat to be staying in Adam’s land.

Weekend Trip to The Yuba Yurt

The Yuba Yurt was everything we wanted! The Yurt itself was great! It was very cozy and inviting, we were able to make ourselves right at home. We did encounter a frog or 2 but they were more than happy to be relocated. We were able to cook ourselves breakfast and dinner with ease thanks to the well stocked kitchen and outdoor grill. While the grill is small and a bit flimsy it definitely does the job! My wife got to enjoy a soak in the outdoor tub and enjoy the peace and quiet that comes with the location. If you follow the directions as provided you shouldn’t have any issue finding the Yurt. 10/10 will be back!

We had an incredible stay at the cabin on the campgrounds. The experience was more than just a getaway,it was deeply spiritual. Being surrounded by nature gave us space to slow down, reflect, and connect with one another in a meaningful way. From the stillness of the trees to the night skies filled with stars, every moment reminded us of the beauty and balance of creation. One of the things we appreciated most was not having Wi-Fi. Instead of screens, we had conversations. Instead of scrolling, we shared laughter, cooked together, played games, and had real heart-to-heart talks. That absence of constant distraction allowed us to create a stronger bond as a family and be fully present with each other. We left the cabin not just refreshed, but spiritually renewed. This was more than a stay it was an experience of connection, peace, and gratitude. This Yurt was a fantastic escape- incredibly well stocked, comfortable bed, beautiful location! Finding the property was easy, and we were blown away by the nature we were able to witness on the property. The tree frog in the shower was a cute addition to our weekend too.

Weekend Trip to Sierra Sol Camp

The Sierra Sol Camp is well located, close to the rivers and the Bullards Reservoir. The cabin room was clean and well maintained, and I especially enjoyed the outdoor shower. The kitchen is small but equipped with everything you need to prepare a nice meal. However, if the camp has medium to high occupancy, using it will require quite a bit of coordination. Signage around the property could be improved, as labeling for the different locations is not very clear. The arrival instructions also need updating: they currently say to park and go to the kitchen for instructions, but it isn’t obvious where to find them, and no staff were visible anywhere on the property. You’re left to figure things out on your own.

We loved every detail about this magical retreat, from the comfy accommodation to the communal area, kitchen and baths. So fun and well designed, you can feel the love and passion that went into creating the space. Lots of great places to explore in the vicinity too! We did have one issue, upon returning from a day of adventure we found all our food was cleared out of the fridge. Surely an honest mistake… but still surprising that the staff were not aware we were staying there, even after we had said hello and everything. Added an unexpected hour long mission rushing to the grocery store right before they closed! Thankfully Deja was easy to reach and quick to help us resolve the issue. We would still return, hoping that’s a very rare slip up!

The Shambala cabin in a word : Awesoem! The campsite and area to explore was huge peaceful, and a perfect place to let the kids roam free without worry. It felt so good to get them outside, breathing fresh air and exploring nature. The cabin itself was spacious, pretty stocked with essentials (super helpful if you forget a few things), and had everything we needed for a great stay. Adam and Holly were kind and informative, and everyone we met was friendly. It was the kind of trip that reminds you why the outdoors matter. We had a blast. Will be back! Thanks guys
