Loved our stay here! Henry is a wonderful host: very thoughtful, responsive, and provides a lovely space. The large tent/yurt is situated in his backyard in town. There is some street noise, but didnt find it too disturbing. There is a lot of outdoor grassy space for kids or a dog. We brought our dog. The bathroom is located in the house and Henry communicated all there was to know very well. We enjoyed watching a movie on the pulldown screen. The bed was comfy and I recommend this stay for anyone looking for a comfy and cozy spot in Eureka. Thanks again!

We only stayed for one night. The place is conveniently located near freeway. We appreciate the full hookup. Less to worry about when traveling. The only suggestion I would make is to make the direction and space number to the assigned space more clearly. But I think most places are like this. We arrived late so it took a little bit to look around for the assigned space to park.

Henry was such a thoughtful host and his place had everything we needed and more! We watched a movie on the projector and had hot chocolate, which felt like such a treat 💕 We were able to cook a little with the pots, hot plate, and utensils provided as well. The heater kept us nice and warm and we were able to charge our devices as well! The indoor bathrooms were spotless and easy to access. Overall definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Henry provided a private and comfortable tent setting for our brief stay in Eureka. The tent was well stocked with everything a guest could want or need (the back massager was fantastic!). The bed was comfy and the bathrooms were exceptional. Guest should be prepared that they do need to go into Henry's personal house to use the bathrooms. We didn't meet Henry, but wish we had the chance to so we could thank him in person :-)

This was a perfect gem in town and made to feel like a private little retreat. Henry was the most amazing host, having thought of every comfort his guests might want. The glamping tent had so many thoughtful touches, and Henry went above and beyond with breakfast and snack offerings, welcome treats and a note, detailed instructions on everything, and a fantastic dinner recommendation.

What a gorgeous place. We arrived late and didn’t get to hang out for too long, but still appreciated the huge kitchen, especially for dish washing. My kids were starting to miss our dog back home, and were thrilled to be welcomed by several very good boys. Coco made an especially good impression. And the wine was delicious.

I booked this last minute for my daughter, who is 2.5 years old, my 1.5 years old goldendoodle, and myself. My daughter was so excited for the new creative environment. Her words, "this is amazing!!" It is obvious that the host is passionate about hosting - we felt so welcome and supported. We loved the fresh grass and we had a lot of fun playing games and hanging out and resting in the sun. Coffee available in the tent, and milk and OJ, breakfast in the kitchen and tent has the perfect selection of snacks upon arrival. I almost missed the view in the backyard into the valley of trees through one of the tent windows. This is perfect if you want to explore the zoo and eat yummy food close by. We enjoyed lots of pasta and salad bar nearby at Babes. I could go on and on.. you'll have to discover it for yourself. Side Note: The bed is not very long, so I wouldn't recommend for taller friends, like my husband who is 6"4. I also utilized the earplugs that were provided - as I'm a light sleeper and some vehicles drive fast on the mains street.

My boyfriend and I loved staying at Henry’s glamping tent!! Henry went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, down to leaving hot water readily available for tea when we arrived. He provides snacks and extensive directions for using all of the appliances. The bed was comfy and the entire experience was cozy. Only thing that was minor inconvenience was the bathroom and shower were inside the house. But otherwise, all amazing!

This was a fantastic experience. The host paid more attention to this backyard camping site, then I have seen at expensive Airbnb places. Everything one might need for such an experience was available, from robes and mints on the bed, to kitchen appliances, utensils and dining table, coffee, hot water, drinking water.. Somehow all magically fit inside the tent. The seating outside the tent, screened off from rest of the backyard was also great. Only "inconvenience" was having to use the nice bathroom and shower inside the house, but compared to a typical campsite experience (even the Glamping ones), this was a much better option IMO. Easy check-in, easy parking, friendly hosts. Would highly recommend and would book again if I am in the area.

This site works well if you want to have somewhere to setup your RV and sleep, have breakfast be out most of the day to come back to cook and overnight. The RV spot is next to a working winery and has power and water, and next to a shared kitchen and toilet. Generally the kitchen and winery is quiet by about 10 pm for a good night's sleep. The scenery of the winery is nice and next to redwood forest. Friendly dogs and winery workers. We felt very welcome and everything went smoothly. Also the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon was great! Unoaked and lots of berry complexity.

I would give the host a 5 star rating. We are an older couple, in our 70s, and having a bathroom and shower inside the house on the second floor was a little inconvenient. Otherwise, the set up was charming and the yard great for our dog.
