2 nights at Harmony's Glamping
What a beautiful spot! Pretty incredible how secluded you can feel, just 20 minutes outside of town. My husband and I booked the yurt for three nights to rest and unplug. When we got there (and lugged our belongings to the yurt), we found it dirty with no bedding. I messaged harmony who quickly gave me a call to let me know she has upgraded us to the dome by the river. The space was awesome- decorated very nice, a private hot shower and best of all, right on the river with a hammock over the water where I spent several hours reading and listening to the sound of the water. There was no one else on the property so we had the place to ourselves!
Things I would have liked to have known beforehand:
- while we read the warnings about the road, we made it just fine in our Prius. Just go slow and you’ll be fine.
-there were no kitchen supplies in the yurt or the fairy dome (contrary to what the listing said) so make sure you bring pots, pans, oil, salt, pepper, plates, cups and silverware.
-the toilets are port-o-potties they haven’t been emptied in a looooong time.
-there are lots of critters! While unpacking we found a baby rattlesnake which made me fearful to let our dogs out of my sight! There were lots of (giant) spiders in the fairy dome and there were big mice running around the camp at night so make sure you bring everything inside. It is camping, after all!
- we weren’t able to get all the way to the waterfall with our three legged dog but the walk was beautiful.

Harmony was an excellent host, so far the best I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. She was very understanding and accommodating. Her property is beautiful and the waterfall was absolutely amazing and well worth the hike, however it’s definitely a more advanced hike. I will definitely be taking my kids back again.

This is a review for the Creekside Fairy Dome where we ended up staying. Harmony and her team are very friendly and accommodating! We were upgraded to stay at the fairy dome and it was AMAZING!! Our 8 year old daughter played in the creek all day! Very family friendly camp site. Clean dome room with very comfortable bed. Warm shower on site was very nice! We also splurged to do two nights with the wood fire hot tub…. Such a wonderful experience! A little bit of a harrowing drive down to the parking lot, but it was all awesomeness after Harmony let us into our Fairy Dome site! Thank you so much for the memories, and we are sure we will be coming back in the future!

Weekend Trip to Harmony's Glamping
Such an amazing get away. Best Glamping experience ever. We had a first timer camping and now all she wants to do is Glamp . The bathtub was our favorite experience. Be sure to bring your own pots and pans with silverware.. a very peaceful place and the waterfall was beautiful.

My friends and I had an amazing time at Gaia farm! The view was incredible and the yurt had everything you would need. We stayed just one night and had a great time grilling and enjoying the view. Would come again!

2 nights at Harmony's Glamping
The place is very beautiful and peaceful. Harmony was kind and offered us an upgrade to the fairy dome, so this is a review for that site. Everything was clean and lovely to stay in and had a very comfortable bed and extra pillows. It was great having the shower outside in nature and being right next to the creek allowed us to fall asleep to serene running water. The drive down to the site is definitely one to prepare for with 4WD- seriously, don’t risk it with an oversized vehicle or only 2WD. The only downside would be that the portables were not cleaned after the weekend (we arrived Monday and stayed until Wednesday) and they were full and unbearably smelly to use. Would’ve been nice if they were emptied to not dread going into them to use the bathroom. Other than that, a great experience.

Nathan’s campsite had everything we needed. Everything was well maintained and clean. The beds were so comfortable. There were warm blankets provided so we didn’t get cold at night. We were able to take showers and wash our hands. The compost toilet was easy to use. It’s was so nice to sit under the stars. We stayed with our toddler, dog and cat. We did have to look out for rattlesnakes but luckily didn’t see any. Our toddler enjoyed seeing the farm animals. We had a great relaxing stay. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful place, really well equipped - they really have thought of everything.
Really off the beaten path - expect a drive through amazing scenery to get there. Worth stopping for a few photos on the way.
If you can drag yourself out of bed, an amazing sunrise.
The pigs were fab and loved cuddles in the morning. 🐷

1 night at Gaia Farm Campground
Nestled in the mid-range of the Santa Ynez mountains, Amanda and her family’s land provides incredible views of the expansive lower range and the coast when looking forward and down, and the comforting upper range when looking up and behind. The pictures simply don’t so it justice. It truly does feel like you’re up in the sky… maybe because you are!
We stayed in the Sky Yurt, situated about a quarter mile away from their family’s home. It feels private but safe knowing that they are nearby if anything were to happen. The yurt itself is quite cozy. It was very, very windy at night, but inside the yurt, there was nothing to worry about. The walls are sturdy and insulated. It is quite spacious with plenty of room and a battery-powered lamp for activities and games. Our recommendation is to bring a lantern or two if you need more light to read or draw or play games.
There is a propane camping stove for cooking, and Amanda generously provides pots, pans, dishes, and silverware. There is also a stovetop espresso maker and mugs for coffee in the morning. If you want to keep perishable food cold, we also recommend you bring a cooler.
Amanda and her family are fantastic hosts that serve to inspire those who stay at this wonderful farm. It would be such a pleasant, joyous life if we were one day able to buy a property like this one and live with our family — a refreshing visualization of the good times that could lie ahead. Great way to spend my 25th birthday!

Nathan's set up was great and had just about everything we need already at the site! We stayed in one of the yurts and appreciated the space we had to ourselves. Nathan was a very good host and was super helpful to make sure we had everything we need and ready to replace anything. Our 1 1/2 year old loved visiting the animals as well. Overall great stay!

We had a great time at Nates yurt! Our family of 5 traveled socal for 10days and we stayed in resorts, Airbnbs, a state run yurt and we all agree Nates yurt was the best stay. The beds were super comfy, the view was gorgeous, the amenities were al fresca.

Cuyama Oaks was everything I hoped for. It’s beautiful, close to LA, and had everything we needed for our stay (camping made easy). Nate was extremely accommodating (we had to reschedule due to my dog having surgery) and welcoming. I cannot recommend this gem enough!
