2 nights at Escape to the Desert

I couldn’t have asked for a better RV spot! From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth and easy. The site was clean, level, and well-maintained, with full hookups that worked flawlessly. The area was peaceful and quiet at night, but still close enough to everything I needed. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming—super helpful and easy to communicate with. You can tell they really care about making your stay great. I felt safe, relaxed, and right at home. Whether you’re just passing through or staying a while, I 100% recommend this spot. I’ll definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Tarantula Ranch

We stayed in the RV spot close to the house and it was easy to find. It's a beautiful piece of property and they have many amenities. The only thing I would caution is there's no shade in the heat of the summer when you stay in the RV site. We went for walks down the gravel road and found a shady place to relax just a few miles down the road.

Such generous and sweet hosts! The bathroom/sink/shower was so wonderful. Would 100% recommend!

The host was very responsive to our messages. Even though he could not be there in person, he gave us all the necessary directions so we were able to settle quickly. The location is very quiet. Depending on where you are coming from, Google maps might take you through an unpaved road to get there. However, there is a paved road passing through the city of Crystal. The place was extremely quiet.

Great stay; a little oasis in a desert place. Amenities were well-stocked, modern and clean. We liked the style of everything very much. If our travelling schedule would’ve let us, we would’ve stayed longer!

Beautiful views. Plenty of space for vehicle, camper, and tent if needed. Close to hiking trail. Quiet. Private. Primitive camping. Great for boondockers.

This is just an awesome spot to camp. We were extremely well received, enjoyed the clean and super spot, and slept like babies. If you pass by the area, this is a MUST! Thanks again.

It was very easy to find and Zachary and his family are locals & amazing 😁 I was there when a wind storm came through and event with the crazy winds I get to see the flower moon & reenergize. My pups had some free run time in the morning 🥰 What more can you ask for ✌️🫶🕯️

A most excellent camping experience! The camp host greeted us upon arrival and was friendly, helpful - we're glad to have met her. If you love the desert southwest, this would be a great home base for exploration. We would stay there again without hesitation. I loved the "open sky" shower!

Great place to stay before hitting the road. Only hour from LAS nice clean bathrooms and camp. Not far from valley of fire and death valley. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. There isn't any views or anything like that.

This is an awesome spot in the desert. The showers and bathrooms look newly renovated and clean, but they also have an outdoor shower and composting toilet available! They have a communal area with games and a kitchen area, and there are 3 extremely friendly cats that roam the area! 2 of them actually got inside my tent with me!!! They were jumping into my arms to be held. It really added to the experience

An awesome , clean, well laid lout place with nice artistic features within a vineyard...everything about it worked well including the very social cat who decided to lay down in the middle of the table tennis table by the net so we had to hit over it.

This was a great spot! Very conveniently located if you are coming from Las Vegas to the California parks or on your way back. Friendliest hosts I have ever had. They really make sure you’re comfortable and safe! I would come back any time I’m in the area!
