Camp Stoney Meadows

Our 220 remote acres are adjacent to Shasta Trinity National Forest in the beautiful Cascade Range between Mt. Lassen and Mt. Shasta in Northern California.   

It's a working ranch with tree farms, animals, hydroelectric power, sawmill, gardens, orchards, creeks, springs, trails, and our camp alongside Kosk Creek.  

We're 54 miles from Redding off of 299E, (about 1-1/2 hour drive). DO NOT TAKE ROAD 11 FROM THE NORTH, IT IS CLOSED!  PIease try to ignore the "car art" in the Pit River Tribe's Rancheria as you're coming here.  Drive right through it, it's no reflection on us.  The last mile or so of the road here can be pretty rough, but on arrival, you'll know it's worth the trip! 

No Cell phone service available here, so it's the perfect opportunity to unplug. We do have a land line up at the house in case of an emergency. Also, if you really need it, WiFi is available at the house.

Enjoy the beauty and wonder of Lassen National Park while staying at our cozy, comfortable summer vacation glampsite located in Lassen National Forest.

The cabin has no electricity (no fridge, washer, dryer, etc), but is like a glampsite and has all the camping essentials, including drinking water, flush toilet, propane stove for cooking, comfortable beds and wood-burning fireplace to stay warm and night.

Please bring your own bedding (one full size bed and queen size sofa bed).

Please bring your own wood for the fireplace.

Kosk Creek Campgrounds

We are a 400 acre ranch nestled in the mountains of Shasta County. There is a mile long creek that runs through the property. We have multiple hot spring pools ranging in various temperatures. Dry and overland campsites available.  Activities: Boating, hiking, kayaking, 4x4, mountain bike, and fishing.

You get a tub and you get a tub and you get a tub!

Prefer a little extra shade? The meadow sites are spacious, peaceful, and perfect for keeping cool while still being close to the creek.

The main spring has a bench for lounging, and yes, it’s dog friendly.

Take it all in. The main springs are stunning from above!

Creekside mornings + coffee + furry friends = perfection.

Cast a line and relax. Yes, you can fish here!

Tons to explore. The creek is roughly a mile long through the property. There is an active beaver in the area...hopefully we'll spot him hard at work next time!

The trail up to the hidden springs is a little steep but very short. Worth it!

These springs are barely visible from the main springs. Traverse the side of the hill and you will find them.

Camp stoves are allowed, making it easy to heat water for your morning coffee with a view.
