D-9 Eagle Rock

2 sites ¡ Lodging, Tents1000 acres ¡ Caliente, CA
Attention Deer hunters. August 16 2025 is the first time this section of California fish and game D-9 zone has been open to the public.. There are no roads,no trails , just raw untouched land. There are natural fresh water springs caves meadows and an abundance of wildlife. No ,motor vehicles are allowed. You can hike in only. Our sites border 1000 of acres of BLM land that hadn't been hunted on for at least 15years. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to bag a trophy animal. For the hunting party that wants a little advantage we have a guide/ tracker familiar with the area. If interested . Check for availability. Joe (661)490-8472 There are three requirements to hunt . 1. You must have a valid Id. and hunting lic. (Tags If required) 2. Must attend gun saftey refresher class and FYI meeting (approx.20 min. Long) boundaries, hazards, and general information about the terrain will be given. Any questions will be answered at this time. 3. A waiver must be signed releasing Eagle Rock from any liability from any accidents that may occur while registered at our site Note, There's no shooting in the compound and no target practicing in the hunting area. There is a range 3 miles from our camp. a 5-minute drive from the campsite I will personally show you where this range is. This policy was designed to keep the animals calm. Being this is our grand opening your suggestions and input on any policies or rules is greatly appreciated we are trying to make your hunting trip the most enjoyable that it can be hope to see you soon respectfully Joe Cricchio. Make your reservations soon. These sites are going fast. I've been hunting for over 45 years and I'm not kidding you this is some of the best hunting grounds I've come across. It's not easy getting to the animals you have to be in shape cuz there's no motor vehicles allowed, however, the rewards are great if you could tough it out. Not trying to scare anyone off I'm 57 so if I could walk for 3 hours straight one way and 3 hours straight back the other way I think most of y'all can handle that. Just want to give you a little heads up you can't be no Sissy to come out and hunt on this property. This is the real deal and I hope to see you soon. All my respect , Joe Cricchio D9 Eagle Rock
