Walk down our road and then left up to the top of the hill for a panoramic view of the entire area with the city San Luis Obispo at a distance. Our two sites are flat on decomposed granite pads. Both have excellent views and easy access to our common areas: big sink and counter, and a cold-water outdoor "beach-type" shower. Firewood is available for purchase at camp for those wanting to use the fire pit, or you can bring your own. The San Luis Obispo, Central Coast has so much to see and do! Hiking trails abound, our favorites are Bob Jones trail to walk or bike to Avila Beach, Johnson Ranch and Irish Hills for hiking hills, the Ridge trail for a view over Shell and Avila beaches, and the Harmony Trail to walk grassy cliffs by the ocean. Montano de Oro is only 15 minutes away with rocky ocean cliff trails that lead down to the coastline. We are 5 minutes from the beginning of the Edna Valley winery trail with 30 wineries or more I’ve lost count. Tasting and relaxing in great atmospheres. Our favorites are Biddle Ranch, Talley, Mailene, Chamisal, Bailyanna... but there are so many more. We’re 10 minutes from downtown San Luis Obispo, 10–12 minutes to Avila or Pismo beaches. Morro Bay is 25 minutes. And we’re just 5 minutes off the 101 for easy access to traveling. The Central Coast has almost everything for fun, adventure and food. Surfing, biking, hiking, ocean kayaking, paddle boarding, golf, wine and beer culture, ranch lands, shopping and restaurants and we’re close to it all.

We are a small farm on a 1 acre gated property that has two RV spots and a bar shed. We have full hookups in both sites. Our town is rural but it's still close to HWY 101. We do live on the property, close enough if you need anything but far enough for privacy. We host happy hour for campers who are interested. Although the hours depend on arrival and our availability. We have a common area between the two sites that offered a nice fire pit. Our farm has 3 goats, 2 pot bellied pigs and 20 chickens that lay fresh eggs daily. We LOVE animals but we CANNOT ALLOW PETS. Also, sorry no tent camping. RV's only. We do not provide bathrooms or showers on site. Don’t have an RV? RENT OURS! We have everything you need for your family. Enjoy a weekend on the farm and glamp in our RV. We have all the amenities of home. Coming to enjoy the area? The property is just a few mins off the 101 freeway on the Central Coast. We are only 15 mins South of Pismo Beach, 30 mins south of San Luis Obispo and an hour North of Santa Barbara. The beach, wineries and shopping are all very close. Or if you are looking for a quiet retreat with some super sweet farm animals stay here and enjoy the farm. Weekend Trip to Rancho Rio Del Sol: Paso Robles, CA

The dream catcher exceed my expectations and was so cute and cozy, had a lot of extra amenities such as a propane fire pit, hot running water and a flushable toilet and the host so graciously provided towels, shampoo/conditioner/body wash and a hair dryer! The setting itself is so beautiful and has an amazing view. The “kitchen” provided has a few things but I would recommend bringing your own equipment for cooking. Lastly, the bed is very firm and unfortunately we were unable to sleep well on it at all, we used some of the outdoor chair cushions to add some extra comfort to it which helped us sleep better the second night but if you aren’t used to an extra firm mattress I would recommend bringing some extra cushion/padding. I would definitely go back again despite this as we had a lovely time. We were lucky enough to have the property to ourselves that weekend so our experience was very private but would just like to mention that the dream catcher site is located between the two other main camping sites on this property. Otherwise this place was super cool and definitely a neat find!

Cute little farm. Jeremy was very welcoming and his two boys were adorable as well. I arrived a bit early, but Jeremy was more than accommodating. The location is close enough to town, but far enough away for peace and quiet when the sun sets. The mattress was a little soft for my liking, but it was still comfortable. Their on-site farm stand was awesome. I’ll be back again, next time I’ll probably opt for the airstream on the farm.

We’ll definitely be staying here again when passing through SLO. Very close to a beautiful ‘Main Street’ with shops, and dining.

We all loved camping at Sierra and Darin's land. It is a beautiful and quite serene area where groups of campers get quite a bit of privacy and space from others. The hosts are so kind, communicatice, and welcoming. We really enjoyed the welcome tour, learning about all the creative projects they have started to expand the services offered to campers. We will be going back and recommending to our friends and family.

Weekend Trip to Creekside Camping and Mineral Baths

My boyfriend, small dog and I stayed for a night. We wanted something inexpensive where we could drive right up to the site, had someone on site because we had never been to the area and were getting in after sunset, and was in a wooded rural surrounding. The hosts were extremely friendly and hospitable. One of them met us at the entrance & took us around the property to explain the different site options (we were the only ones there! There were 8 different sites - all fairly close to each other, but I could tell that if multiple were full - you’d still have your own private space.) They brought us firewood and helped us set up our fire! I saw some negative reviews about the junk yard … which I’m confused about?! I thought it was super cool. It’s not anywhere near where you actually camp… it’s right when you pull onto the land and then you drive probably half a mile into the woods. It was cool to see all the stuff they have collected. From airstreams, to big CATS, cars, etc. Yea, can look a little eerie at first, but it’s apart of the experience. good place to stop and camp for a night when you are in between your trip. It’s super close to the town of Cambria - which has a ton of little restaurants, bars, etc. tons of farm animals surrounding. One of the guys who lives on site there, Rob, has starlink at his house and allows you to connect to it! Thanks Guys, you made us feel very safe. 👍

I’m new to camping and this was my first campsite with my dog. What a wonderful campsite it was! Sierra & Darin are super passionate about everything they have to offer guests and they give you a tour when you arrive. There are several water stations on the property for dogs to drink from. Lots of land to hike around with your dog off leash. The umbrellas at the picnic tables have lights on the underside which was cool. Sites are spaced out nicely. It’s a great place to stay and I will definitely go back.

Sierra and Darin have an epic place to camp! Their property is well maintained and clean. They provide gas fire pits at the campsites and ports potties throughout. The best part was their hospitality and open arms for new friends. They have a stocked bar and welcomed us with a great selection of beers to sip on as we took our little ones to see the chickens and goats. I do think that our dog had the most fun of us all. Being off-leash and able to explore was her favorite thing, and she enjoyed hanging out with the other pups of the campground. We will certainly be back, as one night was not enough.

What an excellent, relaxing way to get away! Everything we needed was pretty much provided and the bedding was substantial and comfy. We had a thunderstorm hit and even that was a nice experience. A great way to experience mother nature firsthand! We never got wet or were uncomfortable in any way. A hot soak in the tub with my sweetie while stargazing was the trips fav! If you are particular about your cookware, I would bring a good pan and maybe a knife but other than that everything was peaceful. All the wineries around was a plus also!

Where to go

Santa Barbara County

Head south from Oceano and you'll quickly reach Santa Barbara County, known for its Spanish-style mission architecture and tasty, locally produced wine. Highlights include the upscale coastal city of Santa Barbara and the Danish-inspired community of Solvang.

Coastal Ventura County

In the same way that Oceano is known for its dunes, Ventura County is known for its beach camping. Both Rincon Parkway Beach and Emma Wood State Beach offer RV camping, while Faria Beach Park and Hobson Beach Park have spaces for both tents and RVs.

San Luis Obispo County

While there’s lots to do in the counties south of Oceano, there’s also plenty right in San Luis Obispo County. Drive up the coast to take in seaside views and visit beaches, or head up to the Paso Robles area to check out local wineries or soak in thermal hot springs.

When to go

Oceano is very much a summertime destination, so expect crowds during the months of June through August. September after Labor Day weekend is a great alternative, offering the hottest temperatures of the year without the summer vacation crowds. Spring is also pleasant, but can get windy. The months of December through April are great for whale watchers, as this is the season during which gray whales head out on their annual migration.
