Mark and Patricia are incredible hosts and made our stay on their lovely property extra great. Our camping group had everything we needed thanks to them, including helpful tips for where to go exploring. We left our weekend at their place wondering when we could make time to return!

We had an amazing time at Coppercreek Camp. The Little Grey Cabin was perfect for my family! The property was beautiful. Lots of big green trees and lots of shade! Endless fun for my daughter. Between the horses, mini horses, all the frogs in the pond and ESPECIALLY the rope course!! Such a cool activity. We were there 2/3 times each day. The cabin was spotless and cozy and the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen while camping!! I highly recommend Coppercreek!! We will definitely come back for more fun!

Loved it! Sutter and Taylor were super kind and helpful. We greatly appreciated the free access to ice, firewood when we ran out, hot showers, potable water and all at a really good daily rate. We walked to the nearby small creek for our dogs to play in, walked around their entire property to see the pond and horses and just enjoy the scenery, and played on their ropes course, too - so much harder than it looks! We were only a short 15-20 minute drive to Lake Almanor and hung out there one afternoon. Highly recommend supporting this campground!

It's a truly special place !
We usually do a full takeover of the 4 historical cabins (Serenity, Shambala, Trinity and Geronimo) with ~ 20 friends / family. Serenity is across the pond from the 3 others - a bit more secluded.
It feels that we own the forest - no neighbors besides Adam the owner - and liberty for kids to roam around and adult to relax.
The main fire-pit is the hanging place, with 2 huge tables to share grilled food. And old gas grill and a smoker complete the set-up.
Each room has a basic kitchen well stocked with stove + cooking and serving basics+. There's running cold water and electricity, but drink only the spring water (provided and refillable at the spring).
Rooms are basic and comfortable (no curtains, brings eye masks) but they are "forest clean". There's a shower and flush toilet in the owner's house (3 min walk).
It's remote, secluded and we love it for that. No cell coverage, but slow wifi by the owner's house for emergency.
We like exploring the area - malakoff park, yuba river and many swim holes.
I've come every year since 2020 and love it.

It’s a good campsite, we had a lot of fun. The showers have hot water and it’s potable, and also it has a soap available that we can use for dishes too. We got water in a camelback to wash ours. The host was supportive with our doubts related to the water and the campsite. It was easy to find our way to there and to follow the map directions inside the campsite. Someone else got our campsite (number 1) but we were relocated to the campsite 4, which we preferred in the end. There’s a creek in the property, a tree house and we ride the bikes for free too. I needed to charge my cellphone and I asked a guy in the house if I could charge there, and he was very helpful with that. There’s a railroad nearby with a train that runs during the day and the night, so if you have trouble sleeping be prepared, but it didn’t bother me at all. It was cold during the night in this time of the year, but a nice weather during the day, we even entered the creek. It was a good experience and I would go there again. 😃

Absolutely loved our stay at this glamping site! It was the perfect balance of comfort and nature. The creek running through the property was a highlight—peaceful, clean, and even had great fishing. I caught a few trout just steps from our tent! Just note I believe it’s fly fishing and catch and release water.
It was also a fantastic spot for our 3-year-old. The open space, shallow creek areas, and safe environment made it ideal for exploring and playing without worry. The glamping setup itself was cozy, clean, and well thought out—everything we needed without giving up the outdoor experience.
The location couldn’t be better. Nestled in Northern California, it’s just a short drive to Lake Almanor where we spent the day swimming, fishing, and soaking in the views. There are also some amazing hikes, local eateries, and hidden gems in the area that made the whole trip feel special.
Highly recommend for families, couples, or anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy nature without roughing it. We’ll definitely be back!

3 nights at Coppercreek Camp
Absolutely loved Sutter & Taylor’s land. Coppercreek is one of the most beautiful and serene campsites. Our accommodations were clean & comfortable. Having showers on site was a plus.

We loved car camping at Copper Creek! The hosts were super responsive and made it easy for us to find the site after dark. The camp beautiful and has everything you need and the horses frolicking in the field were an added bonus!
