Pet Policy All our cabins and seasonal RV sites are pet friendly and we allow up to two dogs per reservation. Coppercreek Camp is located in Plumas County 10 minutes from Lake Almanor, the Feather River, and Round Valley Lake. We are an hour from Lassen National Park.  Picnic by our ponds, play in our sandpit volleyball court, relax in a hammock, watch your kids put on a show at our amphitheater, and watch the sunset over Keddie Peak. The frogs and crickets will sing you to sleep. Ask us how to access our trails and other ponds. Our bunk cabins are rustic with electricity, windows and locking doors, and each cabin has different bed accommodations. Please bring all of your own bedding and sleeping bags. Some of the cabins have heat/AC. We have tent sites available with picnic tables and can accommodate dry-camping RVs. We are still working on installing RV hook-ups. May through October there is a bath and shower house with hot water and flush toilets. Propane fire pits are available for rent. We have an ice machine on in the summer months located by our Main Lodge. The winters are cold and snowy, spring and fall are ideal with warm sunny days and cool, crisp nights, and the summer has warm evenings and hot days. There is plenty of shade with large pine, cedar and oak trees and open sunny space in the meadow. Coppercreek Camp is your perfect mountain getaway for the whole family! Please note: The Dixie fire burned our town of Greenville in August 2021. There is ongoing repair work in the local area, a lot of burned forest, but still many beautiful sites to see. Much of our property burned, but we are rebuilding and have beautiful green trees with plenty of shade. All of our pictures on HipCamp are post-fire and up-to-date. Please come and support our special town as we rebuild! The town of Greenville is located about 5 minutes from our property and offers a grocery store, Dollar General, gas station with mini mart, and wonderful food trucks. Are you ready to unplug from the world and recharge in nature? This newly built two bedroom, two bath log cabin will help you do just that. You’ll reconnect with love ones since the cabin has NO WIFI but does have a wood burning stove and miles of trails to walk on just outside of the front door. The cabin is conveniently located just minutes from the north entrance of Lassen National Park. For entertainment, I have a TV (no cable)/DVD player with a selection of movies, board games, and reading material including a few books and magazines. There is timber land at the back of the property with plenty of trails to walk or ride a mountain bike (if you bring one). Lassen National Park is a short drive away. Also nearby is lake McCumber. I have a wood burning stove inside that you can use for a fire. Absolutely NO FIRES outside. There is a fire ban in effect, thank you for your cooperation and understanding. I have a propane BBQ outside that you can use, along with a picnic bench and other outside seating. I will provide a selection of tea, hot coco, coffee and oatmeal to get your day started. Be sure to bring food with you since the nearest grocery story is about 9 miles away. I will provide a basket of firewood to use during your stay, but it's a good idea to bring extra since it will go fast. Because you're in the forest, there is limited cell reception so please plan accordingly. I've found that Verizon has some signal while AT&T has none. Since it's meant to get away from it all, not having cell service might be a good thing. :) The master bedroom is on the entire loft floor so there isn't a lock or door that separates the main area downstairs. Just so you're aware. There is a door and lock on the guest bedroom downstairs. All you'll need to bring are your personal items, food for your stay, and extra firewood! Once booked, I will send more helpful tips and information for your stay a week prior to your check in date. Dogs - I allow dogs because I believe they are part of the family, but please notify me if you intend to bring your dog prior to your stay. If there is high wind in the forecast, the electric company, PG&E may turn the power off for safety reasons. They usually notify me a day in advance and I will let you know right away, but I wanted you to know that it might be a possibility during your stay. For Winter Guests: A 4 wheel drive vehicle or car with chains is HIGHLY recommended to travel to the cabin. The main road is paved but there will be snow/ice in the area. If you like a long walk it is 2.5 miles down the dirt road to Oregon Creek and the middle fork of the Yuba. Driving takes 5 to 10 mins. The other direction is the largest lake in our county Bullards Bar Reservoir and Emerald Cove Marina. We are 1 mile down Marysville Rd. from a launch called dark day. There is a trailhead at the top of overflow boat parking for a public swimming hole on the lake. On our property, we have a main house with its own private facilities such as a kitchen, shower, and bath. On the land, we have 9 total unique cabin and canvas tent structures converted into boutique-like campsites. We have an epic outdoor entertaining kitchen and patio with an outdoor pizza oven and a little dog rinse behind the outdoor shower. The bathhouse is right across the way and provides a private but shared guest shower house, tub and sink. Like anywhere in the woods there is an hour at sunset when you may have mosquitoes down near the sites in the spring and some of the summers depending on the year. We have a natural spray for that or fans in the kitchen. Off the path, you may find poison oak in the thick of the woods. So please stay on the marked trails.

It is always a joy to visit Copper Creek. I would stay here all summer if I could. Sutter and Taylor are wonderful hosts. My friends and I loved walking the property and visiting the horses. Lake Almanor is just 30 mins away. Can't wait to return!

Peaceful and tranquil. Really love this place. Easy 10 minute drive to Lake Almanor. The cabins are rustic and minimal but have comfortable beds, a coffee machine, and air conditioning. Their a good step above tent camping. The weather is warm and sunny with a pleasant afternoon breeze and cool nights There is a beautiful creek on the property near enough to walk or drive but far enough away to avoid any pests. It is a very charming location set in a majestic pine forest. There are showers and running water restrooms and wash rooms with one private shower bath restroom. There is a large kitchen facility for group use.

The location relative to Lassen was great. The beds were comfortable, and the AC and fridge were a huge plus. The outdoor sink and dish washing materials for camping equipment, and the chairs, picnic bench, and fire pit were all great.

Sunset sanctuary awaits you..our most secluded spot can host you in either your own tent or ours and we also have a cozy futon available and just the right amount of privacy while still having the security of being in inside our farms fence..

We enjoyed our stay at the Sunset Sanctuary site which was very quiet and peaceful. It felt secluded, though just a couple minutes walk from parking and the communal rustic kitchen and bathroom. Marcia was away when we stayed, but the folks living/working there were very warm and friendly. There is a stove and cookware/dishes but no fridge, so make sure to bring a cooler. Amazing to be super close to lovely Yuba river swimming holes and to enjoy the beautiful stargazing at night! Also had fun on the unexpected giant trampoline on the land!

Getting there was simple and the directions were clear. The Oasis Cabin was clean and neat. It was also well insulated to sound. Bring your sleeping bag or a blanket. These are just simple pads on small bed frames. The cabin had power, light, an A/C unit, a coat rack, and chairs on the deck.

This property is pure magic and you can tell how much attention to detail and effort has gone into making it so special over the years. Everyone was comfortable and stoked to be there - from the beautiful outdoor kitchen, late night outdoor baths and stargazing, comfy accommodations, and daily trips to the yuba we all were on cloud 9 and never wanted to leave. Deja was very helpful and communicative with logistics and connecting us with friends - Felix for amazing pizza night and Kat to run the bar. We feel very grateful for the weekend spent here.

We had an amazing stay at Sierra Del Sol Hipcamp celebrating my 50th birthday! The property offers excellent amenities that make camping comfortable while still allowing you to fully enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. One of the highlights is the incredible outdoor kitchen—thoughtfully designed, well-equipped, and a wonderful gathering space for cooking, sharing meals, and connecting with fellow campers. What truly sets Sierra Del Sol apart is its creative and artistic vibe. The space feels intentionally curated, with unique touches throughout that create a warm, inspiring atmosphere. There’s a sense of creativity that really brings together community and beauty that makes the experience feel much more special than a typical campground. The overall atmosphere is peaceful, welcoming, and relaxing, making it easy to unwind and reconnect with nature in the beautiful gardens. Whether you're looking for a quiet retreat, a creative escape, or a memorable outdoor adventure, Sierra Del Sol is the best! The cool cathedral space was great for late night dancing and the suspended campfire was really a highlight. Thanks Sierra Del Sol for a memorable birthday experience!

Weekend Trip to Coppercreek Camp

We loved our weekend at Coppercreek Camp. We had a big family weekend with a mix of ages including 9 kids under 12. We had a mix of cabins and tent sites. Everything was clean and comfortable. So nice that there is an ice machine. As a mom of young kids that stresses out anytime we’re in public, I really appreciated that as soon as we arrived Sutter told our kids what there was to do and to go run around and explore. The camp was set up perfectly for the kids. They loved playing badminton, the ropes course, and playing cards on the lodge deck in the evenings.

Camp Almanor was a lovely spot to spend the weekend! It's right across the road from the lake, and very quiet. We stayed in a studio cabin which was small but had everything we needed. The other guests were lovely!

Weekend Trip to Sierra Sol Camp

This site looked so beautiful that I decided to book the entire site for my surprise proposal to my partner. Not only did the site blow my expectations away in its serenity but Deja was incredibly helpful in helping me with my scheme! From jumping on multiple calls with me to help with coordination, to suggesting local catering places to accommodate my group of 30 friends! I cannot recommend a better site and host :)
