Nopalito Farm has been in operation since late 2014, but the property itself has been a working farm for over 50 years. Lemons and avocados were the primary crops from the 70’s through the 00’s, and are still prominent throughout our 15 acres. Our predecessors then diversified the growing operation by planting a wide range of fruit trees ranging from guavas and passion fruit to peaches and figs. For a decade, hops were grown on 2 acres and were sold to breweries throughout southern California. Staying at coyote cabana on nopalito farm was such a great experience. Jacob was very friendly and keeps the land well maintained. The comfort of sleeping on mattresses with warm blankets made our get away so much more comfortable. If you are looking for a casual get away from home and want to enjoy nature, this is the place to stay. The host’s dog Gertie is very friendly and played all day with our dog Loba. Off leash friendly was what stood out to us when booking this location.

Please be mindful that we have neighbors on the South side behind that stick, compost fence.

This place is so great. I want gatekeep but also tell everyone about it. This campsite in particular was very secluded, but still within walking distance of toilet. Granite Tabernacle had two campfires and the space it was in was so big there was so much room for activities. The animals walking around were so cute and the views were beautiful. The bathroom/showers were much cleaner than expected. The shower didn’t get warm but I got used to it eventually. The road leading up to each of the campsites did feel a little scary driving up, but I’m sure most cars can get there. Interacted with just a few people that worked there, but everyone was nice. The loop around the grounds was about 30 minutes walking and was nice to scope out potential next stays, which I definitely will be doing next year!

What a slice of paradise Bernard and Hoa share with the campers. They are friendly, generous, and accommodating. Their property is just a few blocks away from the cute town of Ramona, CA! Marinade on Main is a favorite restaurant nearby. Their property is secluded, secure, and peaceful behind a coded gate. There are three camping sites that are quite large, and several tent sites. The grounds are well maintained. We enjoyed the proximity to downtown San Diego, La Mesa, Santee, and our son’s home nearby. We were able to stay at Thompson’s Palm Farm quite a few days as there is water, electric, and septic. We will return again and again!

Magical! Great response from host when I had questions before & after booking about what to bring. The VW bus was nice and warm at the end of November. Absolutely adored the goats: super sweet. I loved seeing ALL the animals there. There was not one thing I didn’t love about this campsite: private, lovely views, bathroom within close walking distance, literally all the things. 5/5 stars, 100% would do again.

For the sake of the antique furniture, do not leave your dog alone in the cottage unless they are crate trained and in a crate. If you want to let your dog off leash, 2 blocks down our road (and off property), there is a large scrub field where you can let your dog run free. This booking is for the Hay Barn cottage located at Namaste Farms in the heart of Temecula's Wine Country. This is a beautiful and quiet (with the exception of animal/farm sounds) private working farm situated down a wide and maintained disintegrated granite/dirt rd. While the cottage is only 1/2 a mile from the city limits, it has a rural feel and is centrally located to all wineries and most of the major equestrian facilities including Galway Downs, Green Acres and California Ranch Company. For those who are coming to Temecula for horse shows, we also have a large barn with bedded stalls and turnouts (for an additional fee). There are designated horse trails right outside our gates which will even take you to Galway Downs. If you're into golf, you can enjoy Temecula's 7 PGA golf courses or Pechanga Casino which are also within a short driving distance to the farm. If horses or golf isn't your thing, you can visit Temecula Valley wineries which are all within 1/2-3.8 miles of the cottage gates. The wineries are not within walking distance of each other, and if you want to peruse all of them, we can arrange a driver for you (30.00/hour) who will drive (Jaguar) and take you anywhere within Temecula/Murrieta while happily waiting for you so you can quickly go to your next destination. If you're not interested in any of the above activities and simply want a "staycation," you can hang out here where you're welcomed to walk around the farm and interact with the animals. At night, enjoy the sounds of serenity while roasting marshmallows at our wine barrel fire pit! The "Hay Barn" cottage is a studio with high ceilings, a beautiful stained glass window, a kitchenette and a rustically chic bathroom. The Hay Barn sleeps 3; one queen bed with a twin pull out. Please let us know ahead of time if you need the pullout and you MUST put the accurate number of people who are staying here. If you have more people in your group and don't want to share, please check out the main cottage, Hammie and the Treehouse in separate listings. Please keep in mind that we are not a "pretend farm" set up to simply attract people to our facility. This is an actual working farm where shepherdess, Natalie Redding (Nat Geo Wild's, Shear Madness) and her working dogs, Lacey, Lad and Nesta work every day. This means there is dirt, dust, chickens, peacocks, alfalfa, sheep, bugs, and other living beings associated with nature and farm life. People who've not had the opportunity to experience the beautiful and grounding life on a working farm may not understand this. I do stress that if you're an animal lover who is excited about staying at a true working farm, your co-guests may not share your verve. Please let them know there is dirt, dust, very little concrete or pavement, and they will surely leave with dust on their shoes. It's so nice to "meet you" my name is Taryn and my hubby's name is Anson. We are parents to two-year-old twins, so saying we have our hands full is an understatement. Anson is a folk and blues musician and has traveled all around the U.S. playing his music and I work for a children's book company. As the idea grew, we wanted to create an Open Canvas so that the guest could dream up what they wanted on our stage. We moved to the Inland Empire from Santa Monica, in 2017 with the dream of building an open canvas event space out of sustainable, re purposed and natural materials. Our mission is help enrich the culture of Perris, CA by providing a unique venue that takes you away from the hustle and bustle and takes you to a wonderland of nature surrounded by rocks and eucalyptus trees. Anson and I continue to build everything ourselves with the help of our friends and family every now and again. Our process is that we source as much lumber using the dead Eucalyptus trees we have here on the 36 acre property and we are constantly trying to come up with innovative ways to use recycled and donated materials in the venue. During the pandemic, we turned our venue into a campground so we could open up the venue to people who needed to get out into nature. We are now open for daily camping and private events.
