This is a great spot for lakeside camping and water activities that’s near a lot of great things in Bridgeport, Bodie, etc.
Staff was casually friendly and let you be. The grounds were well maintained. Showers and restrooms were clean and stocked.
The dogs were friendly and the little general store had all the essentials.
Tent camping was a great deal!

gorgeous mountain views over the reservoir.
site 27 did not have sun shades that were shown in the pictures & i alsodidnt realize the fence blocked the water view.
there's only 1 bathroom & the road noise is noticeable.
overall it was a nice place to stay

We had such a great time at this campground! Chase and the staff were very thorough in their directions and were extremely accommodating. It’s not a huge campground but I think that’s what made the experience more personal. The views were so beautiful! Having snowy mountains on our left, valleys, and a fairly large lake to peer at while enjoying our campfire was more than what we paid for. We were also on top of the beached area where kids and adults can play in the lake or float like we did. The bathrooms were extremely clean as well! They also had a big beautiful cat and two dogs that roamed around which also gave it such a homely feeling. We are definitely going to camp here again. 10/10 would recommend.

I loved camping at chases land and found there were many things to do near the area. Check-in/out was a breeze and the lady ant the front desk was helpful and suggested the hot springs nearby which could easily be the best part of the trip. Only con was a lot of bugs/mosquitos (not due to owners but nature doing its thing) around flying anywhere and everywhere. Luckily it gets fairly windy and they blow away, surprisingly did not get bit. We pitched our tent close to the tree/bush and the sprinkler system would go off at odd hours for short periods of time making it a bit hard to sleep(I’m a light sleeper though, my partner slept through it all). We didn’t get a chance to meet Chase but the site was wonderful and we got out of the city to enjoy some peace and nature.

When life comes crashing through my door with the demands of adulthood igniting a gasoline soaked midlife crisis brought on by the sprinting in place that is the pace of the bay area... I retreat to Bridgeport.
As I sit here watching the sun kiss the top of breeze curled waves with the wind at my face and my troubles behind me I think of how simple happiness can be. I truly wish I could be here forever.
Bridgeport holds a special place in my heart, showing me stars like i'd never seen before or since, cradling me in a hidden oasis of peace and traquility.
My cat is in love with Bridgeport as well. She was even brave enough to go out on one of the rented Kayaks, a mere $15 for 2 hours. Crusing the glass like reflection of the snow topped sierras for the price of a hipster's latte, priceless.
4 days went by in a flash, but the memories will always remain cemented, etched into a safe place in my mind labeled, "Break Glass in case of Emergency."
The camp sites are clean, cheap and roomy, the bathroom decent enough, and the views are stunning. It's a place where in the company of the waters symphony against the shore all of life's answers come easy.
Not the first time and certainly not the last that I will visit my favorite place, Bridgeport.

I did a layover on the way to NorCal. Turned out to be awesome. The Lake is vast and set beautifully against the mountains. Facilities were clean and well-maintained. Paid for the hot shower, and would recommend it to everyone.
Friendly and helpful staff as well. 2 miles from town, which has some pretty good road food. Would be a great place to stay and relax for a few days if I wanted to explore the surrounding area.

Loved camping here. Restrooms were nearby and clean with warm water. The site is breathtaking and it’s so peaceful and quiet. I love that it had a town nearby with grocery store, restaurants and gas station and it was just an amazing experience.

Chase is a very, very good host. He helped us a lot. The trailer in which we stayed was awesome. It had everything that you can think of me and my friend we love the trailer. That place is awesome. It’s a lake surrounded by mountains and luckily most of the mountains with snow peaked, and it looked amazing
