Upon arrival Mac was both accommodating and friendly and the instructions in his messages were exact as how to check in if you arrive late. The accommodations are just fine for anyone looking to stay out of the elements with a warm place (well insulated) to sleep and enough of a cushion on the bunks not to wake up with a bad back. We’ve stayed both in a tent in the summer and now in one of the tiny cabins. The simplest of amenities are appreciated if you want to warm something in the microwave or store anything indoors the small refrigerator as well as a toaster and coffee machine. Having a bathroom close by is also nice. This place is nice to stay away from all the crowds in the park and it’s only a 30 min or so drive to Yosemite gate. There’s a great place to eat right down the street called the Copper Pot run by Sarah and Brandon. Great food !!

3 nights at Hidden Falls Yosemite Camp
We had a great time at Wendy & Hudson’s cabin. The view of the waterfall from the deck was one of our favorite parts. In close second were the sunset views over the boulder.
I had been looking for something that was secluded and private, and we got just that!! Parking down the driveway can be a bit tricky and getting down to the shower/bathroom is a bit aways, but all in all it was absolutely worth it! We came near the new moon and got to enjoy the stars each night, which was quite a treat.
It’s about 1.5 hour drive from the center of Yosemite, but there are also lots of nature spots to checkout nearby too. I’d definitely recommend Wild Fig in Coarsegold for brunch or lunch and Clouds Rest Coffee in Oakhurst. A special shoutout to Wendy who was an incredible host and just an all around lovely person. We’d definitely come back here and I’d love to camp at the second site on their property!

This campsite was everything we hoped for and more! It was peaceful, absolutely beautiful, and incredibly private—the perfect place to disconnect from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with nature. The entire experience felt enlightening and refreshing.
The RV was extremely comfortable and homey, with cozy touches that made it feel like a true retreat. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil we could’ve possibly needed, which made cooking super easy and enjoyable.
The views were breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. One of the best parts was being able to hike along the river and explore nature without seeing another person—just pure tranquility and wide-open space.

Cozy cabin with very comfy bed. Great spot with view of waterfall and its own fire pit. Excellent location near Yosemite South Gate, Bass Lake, and tons of National Forest land hikes. Cabin has fridge and microwave, BYO water. Thank you to the hosts for a perfect stay and for being dog friendly!

3 nights at Yosemite Westlake Camp
Mac’s cabin was a comfortable and beautiful experience. We enjoyed each moment that he came by and spoke with us. He took the time to check in on us with friendly laughter. The restrooms and showers were very conveniently located. The amenities like the microwave and heater were very handy. At the end of our trip, Mac was very friendly enough to leave us with hand picked tomatoes and a watermelon from his garden. Not to mention that I made an oversight on our trip dates and Mac was more than accommodating to push up our stay and adjust the dates. He’s very helpful and his campground is top notch across the board. Highly recommend would come again.

Weekend Trip to Hidden Falls Yosemite Camp
Loved the small cabin. Very quiet, its got a call breeze coming in all directions, and a loud sound of the small creek waterfall. The bed is so comfortable, and relaxing. Small porta is good, and the shared bathroom at the main house is clean with hot water, its a win-win with a good price.

We absolutely loved our stay. Mac was a great host as well as John. The amenities in the tiny house were absolutely perfect and although small, comfortably fit the three of us. The campsite was fun and spacious and the kids loved playing with the campsite pets. Will definitely visit again.

Weekend Trip to Hidden Falls Yosemite Camp
This was the perfect tiny cabin for access to Bass lake and parts of Yosemite. Literally minutes from Bass like and surrounding hikes. Highly recommend Angel Falls, especially during the summer heat.
Cabin will be very comfy year round with the excellent little heater/AC unit, but when possible, I highly recommend falling asleep to the waterfall ambiance with the windows open.
The little deck table is perfectly positioned for privacy and a view of the waterfall, well thought out design.
Parking in front of the cabin is down a pretty steep decline, so having AWD or 4WD is helpful, otherwise you should back-in and use a bit of momentum to get up the slope. There is also room to park on the side of the road and just walk down to the cabin if needed.
Would like to use the campfire ring behind the cabin next time outside of fire season.

We stayed in a bunk cabin with our 9month old baby and had a great time. Mac is a wonderful host! The twin cabin is small but great if you wanna camp with some amenities i.e. ac, a mini fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. It was hot out in July, about 90 degrees during the day, but the cabin stayed cool with the ac. Rainbow pool was very close and a great way to spend the first day in. Recommend hiking up river a bit. There a lots of spots to hang out not just the big main hole with the waterfall. Yosemite is about an hour away and always so beautiful. This is a great spot for families looking for a quiet, safe spot to camp near Yosemite.

Weekend Trip to Hidden Falls Yosemite Camp
Wonderful weekend "glamping" spot near lots of hiking & food! Perfect for two. Cozy cabin! The sound & view of the hidden falls was so peaceful. Bed was on the firmer side and bathroom situation was a bit odd but we worked through it. Would have loved to have a fire but CA is dry in June, so thinking another trip in fall/winter may be in order!
