Welcome to Ouachita River Haven!
Nestled between Ouachita National Forest property and the Ouachita River, our Haven is a peaceful little slice of nature for you to take a break, catch your breath, and enjoy the outdoors! Property has 1000 ft of river access, with canoe & kayak docks, swimming hole, volleyball and tetherball, horseshoes, swings.
We offer hiking, mountain biking, and river shuttles as well as canoe/kayak/tube rentals and shuttles. Such trips should be reserved in advance by messaging us or visiting our website.
Our office sells firewood for $5/bundle. We also have a small array of custom woodwork items from our woodshop, freeze dried snacks and hiking restocks, food from local vendors, and souvenirs!
All primitive sites have a picnic table, fire ring, and campfire grill grate.
Electric sites are 30 amp, if using for tent camping you will need a 3-prong converter (we can rent one to you for $5 if you do not have your own). RV/Camper MAXIMUM length is 28 feet.
Tipi rental is a camping experience only; it does not have electricity, a/c or heat. There are solar lights inside. We do have a Queen Sized outdoor bed and bedding available to add to rental for $10/night.
Bunkhouse is a camping experience - bring your own bedding. A/C, heat, electricity, TV & DVDs, Microwave, and Mini fridge are inside. Guests use campground restrooms
Campground restrooms and showers are a short walk from campgrounds.
We are pet-friendly. Dogs must be leashed at all times that they are not in a tent or camper and friendly with other dogs and people. There is a working dog on the property-he is friendly with all people and dogs.

Outside, you'll find a BBQ grill perfect for making dinner under the stars, a firepit with seating for four guests, and a hammock for lounging in the shade and maybe reading a book or just enjoying the lovely sounds of the forest. The bathhouse for the property is at the top of the ridge and it includes family-style restrooms so no sharing a bathroom with a guest in the stall beside you. There is a walk-in style tiled shower, towel hooks, a bench for convenience, and tankless hot water heaters so no running out of water.Our kitchen kit is fully equipped to make your glamping experience even more enjoyable. With everything you need to prepare and enjoy a delicious meal, you can leave the hassle at home. The kit includes a pot, skillet, can opener, spatula, cooking spoon, cutting board, lighter, knife, tongs, four plates, four sets of silverware, insulated cups with lids, dish soap, dish towel, and sponge. Two blankets, 3 pillows, charcoal grill, fan, firepit. Electricity so you can charge your phones. No shower or indoor bathroom but does have camper portable porta potty. Can bring small camper or popup but no Rv. Tents are welcome. Dollar General & gas station 1.5 miles away. Walmart 7 miles away. Smoking allowed, please use ash tray. Don’t throw buds out anywhere. No drugs allowed. Instant coffee, tea, dishes etc is provided but please don’t take home with you, it is for all future guests. Please respect our land. Pick up your trash, use trash cans. No littering. Bring your own fishing gear if you plan on fishing, (catch and release.) No hunting. Maybe other guest on other tent sites please respect others.

Walmart is 20 miles away.
Our cozy little camper features a queen-size bed in the master room and double over bunk beds in the back. The sofa and the kitchen table can also be converted into beds, providing plenty of room for everyone. If you want to set up a tent for the kiddos, you're more than welcome to do so. We provide a Blackstone Grill, a barbecue grill, and any other amenities you may need. You will have access to city water and Wi-Fi.

Designed by tent campers for tent campers... and people who have never camped before. Black Fox Den is fully set-up with a 10x12' tent, real queen bed, patio, prep kitchen, chairs, hammock, stone fire-pit, charcoal grill, 2-burner camp stove, picnic table and cooking gear. All of the get-back-to-nature peace and quiet without all of the loading, unloading, setting up and breaking down of camp!
Shared campground restrooms with our other glampsite (up to 2 people) - approximately 1/8th mile walk or drive - include a half bath and a separate three-quarter bath with shower, sink, vanity, mirror and toilet. Both bathrooms have running water, electricity and septic. Hand soap, towels, wash cloths, soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer and toilet paper provided.
What to pack: Clothes (layers recommended), footwear suitable for the natural outdoors, personal hygiene items, sunscreen, umbrella, cooler, drinks, and your food! Don't forget ice, oils, spices, condiments, etc.
BEFORE YOU RESERVE YOUR ADVENTURE, YOU AGREE:
