Welcome to the Blue Lotus Bus at Brick & Bloom, a cozy converted school bus tucked beside our home on a peaceful, green property. You’ll have your own outdoor space with a covered table, a fire ring under twinkling string lights, and a big grassy yard where you can relax, soak up the sun, or say hello to our friendly horses. Our sweet dogs live mostly indoors to keep the property calm, though you may hear them bark occasionally — just part of life here. From the back of the bus, enjoy glimpses of rolling hills, trees, and the gentle rhythm of country living. The bus is private and comfortable, offering a quiet retreat where you can slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with nature. Brick & Bloom is all about calm, soulful moments — a place to step away from the busy world and enjoy simple pleasures like starlit evenings, birdsong, and the soft presence of animals nearby.Welcome to The Blue Lous, a cozy converted bus tucked gently between the house and garage on our peaceful property in Mount Ida, Arkansas. The bus offers about 200 square feet of thoughtfully designed space, perfect for rest, reflection, and connection with nature. Guests have a dedicated parking space right in front of the garage and a private grassy area in front of the bus where you can relax, sip tea, or enjoy the morning light. Behind the bus, you'll find a converted patio with a picnic table, ideal for outdoor meals or quiet reading. Just below that is a lower level fire ring area, surrounded by open grass and soft evening sounds -- a lovely place to unwind, stargaze, or share stories by the fire. You're also welcome to enjoy the larger grassy area beyond the patio for lounging, yoga, or simply breathing in the quiet rhythm of the Ozarks. The Blue Lotus is located about 10 minutes from Twin Creeks, where guests can enjoy swimming, boating, or fishing. For those who love exploring the earth, there are several crystal mines nearby -- some paid, while the vista trail is free for exploration and digging. Crystal Vista Trial, just a few minutes away, has beautiful hiking trails that lead to a mountain top tree area and gorgeous views. In the same area, you'll find freshwater springs offering pure, untouched earth water -- a refreshing stop on your adventure. If you're craving a meal or a slice of homemade pie, the beloved Victory Pie Co is just a minute or two down the road, right beside a convenient laundromat. In nearby Mount Ida (3 minutes from the site), you'll find charming rock shops, consignment stores and a small grocery store for your essentials. For wider variety of shopping, the town of Glenwood is about 20 minutes away, with additional stores, local boutiques, and another wonderful consignment shop worth visiting. Whether you're seeking quiet rest, a nature retreat, or the magic of crystal hunting, The Blue Lotus at Brick and Bloom offers a grounded, peacful space to return to at the end of the day. Let the soft sounds of the countryside, the warmth of the fire, and the calm spirit of this place help you reconnect with what's real.
