Swimming holes can be found at:; Gilbert gravel bar 2.5 miles, Grinder’s Ferry 7.7 miles, Shine Eye 7.8 miles, Tyler Bend 11 miles, Baker Ford 11 miles, and - 4WD or AWD vehicles are HIGHLY recommended to get to the river-swim-float accesses.. Don’t forget your fishing gear for the small-mouth bass at these swimming holes! Please familiarize yourself with fishing laws and fish limits, specifically for the Buffalo River. Branson is 66 miles away, and Springfield, Missouri, is 110 mi in distance. Host is always nearby/onsite. Inverter type generators are acceptable, and please take your trash upon departure. I moved to my dream home and property March 1, 2020. I refer to it as a hideaway because not only am I at the end of town, this is a dead end street so it stays quiet of traffic. Being downhill, next to the creek, I feel, is safer from tornados, as well, the echo goes uphill instead of downhill toward this property. I am learning town history from a friend that runs the historical society, here in town. As I learn things, I hope to share the information with anyone that may be interested. Learn more about this land: Peace, quiet, alone time or get away from the hustle. Located in the Ozark's.  No freeways for miles. Lots to do around and at edge of small town community. I will be setting up the horseshoe pits soon and have board games as well as cards.  I enjoy and look forward to sharing the beautiful land I live on. The front of my property is very flat and grassy, from the creek fence to the front side of my house. Mature trees that line my property provide nice shade in the spring and summer, however, the property is open air. The stars are spectacular. There is no light pollution. (once it is dark, you can't see your hand in front of your face) This is a small town of about 2000 people or so. There are quite a few shops as well as a grocery store, hardware store, a couple auto stores as well as a couple dealerships. There is a drive through coffee shop as well as a couple drug stores available in town. There are 3 to 5 different repair shops around. There is a beautiful golf course, 5-8 minutes away, just around the corner. .   I live in a peaceful and extremely tranquil spot here. A good hideaway, if thats what you’re looking for.  Hide away and recoup before your next big adventure.  There are a few kids around that love to ride their ATVs, bikes, walk, skateboard and skate up and down Conniebrook Lane. We have bike rally's coming through town often, in the summer. Mt. View, AR, the bluegrass music capitol of the world is about 45 minutes away. Beautiful drive, to get there. Scenic overlooks on the way. Wheelchair Accessibility: I am sure any electric wheelchair would have no problem going over the grass area anywhere they wanted to go in the camping area. I hope if there are any issues, it would be brought to my attention and I would make it accommodating, immediately.. I am extremely handy and mechanical.

This is one of the most magical places I have ever stayed. I was there in my camper for a week, with my two dogs. So quiet and peaceful, lots to explore and the spring fed creek was perfect for cold plunges. Walter was very helpful and easy to get ahold of. I can’t recommend Valley of Peace enough.

This property is so well maintained and very well thought out. The owners are wonderful people. They are always working on and improving their property. A lot of thought, heart and hard řwork have gone into this campground. It provides camping experiences of just about every genre. From isolated tent camping, glamp tent camping, tiny home, cabins, and small RV area. All complete with a bathhouse, pond, meadows to run through and treehouse for the young at heart. So close to the Buffalo River… Its a nice place to be…. The sky’s are also amazing!

We loved camping at Michelle’s land Rocky Creek Campground! The grounds were immaculate and the views were simply spectacular. From the mountains with river view, to the lake view, to the trails. Something for your eyes!!! Michelle and her husband were very nice and welcoming with us. Michelle greeted us at the entry and showed us around. The amenities were great! We camp with a 13ft travel trailer and usually set up our own bathroom/showering tent. However we found the outhouse very charming and fell in love with the outdoor showering rooms! Very quiet and peaceful campsite. Great for star gazing. Campsites are spacious and the lake is something to behold. We cannot wait to book again and spend more time!!!

We stayed here some nights when we first purchased this magnificent property. We fell in love with this view and the almost constant breeze.

We had a wonderful, quiet stay here. Unfortunately, there is a severe drought and the creek wasn’t running but it was so quiet and peaceful that we didn’t even mind. The river is a hop skip and a jump from our camping spot so we ran down to take a look and enjoy the view. Speaking of views, it is worth taking the trails! We would definitely come back and encourage others to enjoy this property as well.

They were super welcoming, beyond thoughtful, and work hard to provide a great experience for their guests.
