The property has been in our family for many years.&nbsp; The location used to be in soybean and wheat fields but now is in hay.&nbsp; We are located&nbsp;1.4 miles south of Interstate 40 (Exit 193) in Hazen, Arkansas with easy access.&nbsp; We have had many great guest come and stay on our property and have been able to recharge for the next days journey.&nbsp;&nbsp;We have 13 RV hook ups and plenty of room to boondock and camp to get a safe and quiet nights sleep.&nbsp; We would love to have you come and stay with us!!Learn more about this land:We are a quiet country/farm setting 1 mile south of Interstate 40 off of Exit 193 in Hazen, Arkansas. It’s not fancy but is safe and quiet with close proximity to Interstate 40 and Hwy 70. Indian Lakes Resort

Privately owned lake/campground. We offer tent camping with and without electric. We have a swimming area that includes slides, diving boards and swim platforms along with a roped off area for young children. Each camp site comes with a grill, a picnic table and a fire pit. Most campsites have their own dock as well. Note: The security gate to park closes at 8:00pm and opens again at 7:00am.  Arrangements can be made for Hipcampers if they need to leave before 8:00am. 

Pioneer Lane Farm

Beautiful rolling open fields nestled in the Ozarks. This is a working farm with cattle, sheep, goats, chickens, dogs and more! We have a variety of trees, wooded area and fields. Lots of flat terrain with grass perfect for camping.  Enjoy looking at all the animals on the farm and pet a goat! 1440 Dreamland

Become immersed in a natural Ozark dreamland destination at this 366-acre Tent/ Small 4 Wheel Drive Truck/Van Campground named ‘1440 Dreamland.’ If you love outdoor adventure, this property is for you! Take advantage of the ponds, the hiking, and the 5-acre private lake, perfect for fishing and wildlife viewing. Secluded natural decks speckled throughout the forest that boasts sweeping views of the Ozark Mountains exist in Dreamland 1440. The Campground Area begins at the front of the property where you enter through the gated area of 1440 Dreamland. If you are booking the Williams Rock Area, your entrance is off of Hwy 330. There are several locations around Williams Rock to camp, open cave areas, with a 5 acre lake to tool around on if you have brought a kayak or small boat. The gates will be open to Williams Rock Area by noon of your arrival. It's primitive camping, so find your own "spot" on the property, respect the privacy of others at their "spots". First come first serve on each spot. The camp spots are not graveled, leveled, etc.. just the bare earth.  The majority of this property is the woods, open fields, rough terrain, etc. So you will experience all Nature has to offer. Things like poison ivy, seed ticks, chiggers, ants, spiders, snakes, wildlife...Always check with the host on the app before arrival. Arriving when it gets dark will mean you will be setting up in the dark unless you have brought lanterns. If you've booked a site, the gate will be open for you, but you will be on your own. The camp host from April 27 - July 1st is on call for guests needs, but is not on site. Checkout time is by Noon. Check in is at 2:00 pm. If you'd like to stay another night, you must reserve another night online. 

This is the front entrance off  Highway16 to 1440 Dreamland. You will be greeted by a camp host here if arriving at the reserved time. Keep in touch!

Rocky Creek Ranch Voted Best In St.

RCR is 25 acres of natural beauty in the Ozarks.  A spring-fed pond on property provides great swimming,  fishing and peddle boating.  Bring your boat and launch into Greer’s Ferry Lake, 1/2 mile away.

We stayed here some nights when we first purchased this magnificent property. We fell in love with this view and the almost constant breeze. 

Quiet Lake Getaway

10 acres with very few neighbors anywhere close. Circle drive, located minutes from Tannenbaum, 15 minutes from Greers ferry and 20 minutes from Heber Springs. Vacation and enjoy the lake with the luxury of full hook up and the perk of only having me as your neighbor.

I full time in a 5th wheel and will be the only other person on the property, no other RV sites and very private.

Batesville Mountain Campground

Batesville Mountain Campground is about "getting away from it all" with nary another soul in sight.   If you have qualms about being alone in the woods -- this is NOT the place!!

There are only four campsites on the entire property so you are always out of sight and hearing of any -- you can even upgrade for $10/night and have the entire property all to yourself!   It is that special!!  And  absolutely jaw-dropping beautiful!   Sparky, the stone mason who quarried, cut and stacked every rock on every trail within the campground, has created a wondrous place to come camp and explore.  We are also now restoring Sparky's original homestead -- the one room Green Cabin is soon to be our new "romantic retreat" with outdoor kitchen and shower,  chicken house, and two-hole traditional Swedish "utedass"–or privy.   As to where to sleep ... well you may lay your head anywhere -- under the stars, atop a pinnacle, out in a field or sheltered in the woods by the river.   

BUT this is "DIY" camping -- as we have day jobs we are unable to cater to your every whim and you will have to be able to "depend on yourself" to negotiate the campground, set up your campsite and secure needed resources.  Thus if there is any concern or question you really should stay at one of our other properties either Camp Toasty or Pinnacle Springs Recreational Camp.  PLEASE -- we don't want to be bothered with phone calls and text messages -- not here anyway.

Trails from Sparky's Cabin lead in all directions offer access to hiking, swimming, fishing and paddling.    You'll find no better place to "forest bathe".

Scott Family Farm & Retreat

Remote and secluded, this beautiful valley 12 miles from Batesville AR provides the primitive camping retreat that you’re looking for. 

Located on our 140 acre family farm, you will cross a low-level creek to access this property. (Truck or SUV is recommended, 4wd during rainy conditions.) 

Sites have composting toilet/outhouses available as well as access to fishing, swimming and kayaking in Polk Bayou, with beautiful water views of Sullivan creek. Enjoy the hiking trails and take in the beautiful scenery of the Ozark Hills during your stay. 

Pets that are leashed and well behaved are welcome, but we must be notified that you will be bringing them. 

•NO ALCOHOL or drugs, unreasonable noise, violent behaviour, or displaying/discharging of firearms or other weapons are permitted on the property.

Pinnacle Springs Recreational Park

Step into your own private wilderness park where hiking trails weave past whispering waterfalls, sunlit bluffs, and crystal-clear streams.  We are confidant the Cadron will deliver an exceptional experience. 

1) Streamside Camping: Secluded tent sites with easy access to Cadron creek – many with picnic tables, fire pits, grills, and lamp posts  

2) RV Camping: Limited sites, pull-through, up to 30 feet, level, hard gravel base, with basic hookups (electricity, no full sewer)

3)  Dispersed Camping:   Outside of the campground there are nearly 100 acres available for camping.  If you are up to roughing it a bit we'll point you in the right direction. 

3) Cabins and Glamping:  For those that like to settle right in we have rustic cabins and campers with modern comforts (some include AC, heating, and kitchenettes) 

Activities and amenities include swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, a 6-acre foraging field and 9-hole Frisbee golf course, bouldering, zen/meditation deck, climbing, psicobloc and more outdoor pursuits than one has time to pursue.   Children can enjoy the Ninja rope course with zipline, slackline, and rope swing and petting Biscuit and Buttercup – our favored Kunekune forest pigs.   And, Woolly Hollow State Park, Cove Creek Natural Heritage Area, Persimmon Ridge Resort and Greer's Ferry Lake are a short drive away. 

We invite you to our little piece of paradise on the Cadron.  Bathe in a forest of tall standing pines and oak trees.  Sit on the bank of a cascading stream.   Embrace nature.  And although we lie at the edge of civilization we have good cell phone service and water hydrants and electrical outlets for recharging phones and the such are freely available for our guests to use.  From March through November hot water showers are also freely available.

Our place is a bit rough, rugged and unruly yet we call it home -- a place where everyone regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, political views, religion, or culture is welcomed to come enjoy nature's marvelous works and wonders.  We love everyone!!  So we invite you to come down to the Cadron and sit a spell.   Unwind.  And enjoy!

WARNING:  Road to stream side camps  entail a steep rough road.  If risk averse, stay atop the ridge in Camp Toasty.   Please.

Miller’s Outpost

The front 5 acres has 50 RV sites with full hookup and internet. This area has a shower and restroom facility as well as a laundry room. The back 22 acres has a dog park, walking trails and the availability for tent camping.

Most RV sites are pull through with many specifically set aside for nightly renters.

Sites feature patio furniture , fire pits, and large parking pads with acres space between sites.

Our cabin in the woods sits on 14 private acres at the end of a dead end road, with Cadron Creek runs through the whole back of property along with Betits Mountain. We have trails through out the property. We have a gazebo with fire pit. Two decks that over look the creek. We are also only 1.5 miles from Greers Ferry Lake, Cove Creek is the campground. Horse shoes and disc golf, corn hole, two hammocks, two kayaks available to use. Also have toys for kids. Come sit and enjoy the creek and wildlife.

BJ Ranch


BJ Ranch is a 550 acre livestock ranch and home to the Lerchers.  Checkout www.lercher15trails.com for some history and trail information.  We offer 16 miles of biking and hiking trails; several campsites; showers/restrooms;fishing; farm raised beef;  Ranch tours/ tool demonstrations classes; and cattle roundups at certain times of the year.  Walk to Cane Creek which runs through the ranch.  Good cell reception.  Please respect the Ranch's Dog policy;  Dogs must be on a leash at all times.   Please read your campsite rules.

Cane creek is a short 15 minute hike from campsite #2.  

This trail goes right next to campsite #2.  There are 16+ miles of hiking/biking trails for your pleasure.  No motorized atv/motorcycles allowed.  Cyclists must wear a helmet.
