The well stocked kitchen has all the cookware and utensils you'll need for cooking, a propane range, as well as a cooler for your use (bring ice). A gas barbecue is on site as well. The wood stove kicks out a ton of heat to keep you toasty while you sip on steamy hot chocolate that is provided for your enjoyment. Gather around the propane operated firepit in the backyard for some R&R. Bring a hammock 'cuz there are unlimited opportunities for stringing one up! Tons of activities will keep you occupied, including hiking and biking on the nearby Arizona Trail (just 1/2 mile away), or even sledding on your very own private 2 acre piece of paradise! What's even better is the property backs onto the National Forest, for unlimited enjoyment of nature. In the evening crack open a book, or start playing a game with your besties to close out a long day. The property is completely off the grid, making it very appealing to those travelers and adventurers who want to create a minimal carbon footprint on their vacation. The kitchen sink has a hand pump that draws water from under the sink from a 10 gallon water jug. You can refill the jug as needed from a hand pump located in the back yard. There is solar powered lighting and a USB phone charger station. There is no electrical power available. Cell service is available in the area depending on your carrier. The outdoor composting toilet is super clean with little or no odor. The cabin is located at 8200' in the San Francisco Peaks in the pines and aspens. Snowshoe or cross country ski, go sledding or snowmobiling, or just good old fashioned relaxation will make the time fly by. There are two sites with fire pits and campfires are allowed but may be restricted during certain times when warm temperatures and high winds are forecasted. Please bring a shovel to clear the fire pit out if there is sand or leftover wood in it. Other things to note: From Highway 64, travel 0.85 miles east on Pine Rd to reach the property. The dirt road has some bumps but is accessible with a 2WD car when the road is dry but 4WD is recommended when there is snow or rain. Also, since you will be traveling on an unmarked dirt road, it is advised to reach the campsite before dark so it easier to locate. There are no toilets or water so campers will need to bring their own accommodations. Pack in and pack out policy applies. Please check if there are any fire restrictions at the time of your visit and always adhere to state and local fire restrictions. It is on level ground and suitable for tents, all vehicles and RVs. There are no restrooms or utilities on the property. Pets are allowed. Please pick up after them. Please do not leave any trash. Very quiet. Scenery is beautiful. Sunsets are spectacular. My GPS took me to the exact location. It was a clear lot, with plenty of space for my 3 kids and a 9 person tent. If y are looking for solitude but not far from a town or other people, this is the place. Would definitely book again.

this is the perfect cabin retreat to escape a busy life and a busy world. I wanted to disconnect from everything and I found the perfect spot.. this cabin is located in a small community and I heard no leaf blowers, ATV noise, or car noise. The only sounds were bird song and the wind blowing through the Aspens. I enjoyed the off grid aspect of this cabin. There were solar lights in the evening and a hand pump at the kitchen sink for water.. I spent most of my time on the front porch, reading books, and watching a little bird build a nest up in the rafters of the porch. The COmmunity is high and cool at 8200 feet elevation.. I was surrounded by majestic Aspen and pines. I highly recommend this cabin retreat if you want to escape the world and get back to nature. No asphalt and no noise made it perfect for me.. The host was very responsive and we had no issues.

The Glamper Cabin is so cozy and well appointed. It was the perfect escape from the Texas heat. We spent most of our time on the porch watching birds, playing cards and just soaking up the quite mountain air. We got just enough service to play music but were able to stay pretty shielded from the rest of the world. Very tranquil stay.

We were able to meet them at check-in and they seemed great. They are very detailed in descriptions, answering any possible question one may have about staying here. I'd love to have a cabin of my own like this one day.

1 night at The Invisible Home |Grand Canyon|

The Invisible Room was a fun and cozy place! The space warms up quickly, Macario is responsive and the room is overall well kept. We had been warned in advance that there wouldn't be running water at all, but I wish we had anticipated getting more gallons of water to handle dishes and basic needs as the only water provided was 2 small bottles. The cutlery isn't the one on the pics, we only had leftover plastic cutlery. The fridge is a desk one, so super small - you can only fit about 4 cans in there. Furniture and decor also isn't what's on the pictures. We wished the mirrors/windows had been cleaned because they were really dirty all over. The instructions states a dumpster that we couldn't find although we tried hard, and the road is super long and bumpy so make sure to come in with a vehicle that can handle it - SUV or truck. I think it's a way better idea to stay there in the Spring or Summer, def not Winter.

I had a last minute emergency with my pup and Kevin was super accommodating and responsive. This really is just a straight shot to the Grand Canyon though which is convenient. I can’t wait to check out some of his land in Cali!
