Greetings! Welcome to Arrowhead Campground! Arrowhead Campground is roughly 5 acres of land, sitting right in Monument Valley, Utah. Come stay with us to experience one of the most amazing views in the world! You'll get to experience a full 360 degree view of all the towering red sandstone buttes and mesas. This is great for capturing the best views in the area. You'll experience breathtaking sunsets and sunrises right from your campsite. Great for pictures and photoshoots. The campground offers one of the largest shade structures in the area, with durable white picnic tables. We do allow campfires, so there is a fire-pit for that. The campground is only 2 1/2 miles away from the tribal park and 1 1/4 miles from the nearest highway. It's tucked away and secluded from noise and light pollution. The stars at night are bright and shinny, so you can pitch your tent right underneath them. With that said, Arrowhead Campground will be one of the best campgrounds you'll ever stay at. Two (2) miles north of Mexican Hat, UT on Hwy 163, turn East, find your spot! Bigger Rigs: Keep to the right at the 'Y' as the road to the San Juan River is steep and a little bumpy! Next to the Bears Ears National Monument, between Valley of the Gods and Monument Valley along the San Juan River is Mexican Hat where you can camp on private property...as this is NOT on the Navajo Reservation, alcohol is allowed. So many things to see! Goosenecks State Park, Natural Bridges, Moki Dugway, Cedar Mesa! Camp on this private estate that was founded in the 1890's by gold and oil prospectors and where John Wayne later crossed the river in several western movies! The night skies are unbeatable as is the quiet solitude that is sadly disappearing in other areas. Mexican Hat Rock and this portion of the San Juan River are accessible only through this estate that is open for your enjoyment, however, if you wish to camp we now ask for a small fee so we can keep it clean, maintain roads and continue our conservation efforts so all can enjoy it forever! Portable toilets are required!!! And please pick up after yourself, dogs and horses. Pack it in, pack it out. Respect your fellow campers and stay on obvious trails and roads, do know that part of this property is marked as 'No Trespassing', please respect signage. It doesn’t take long after pulling off onto the road that leads to Kelly Place to notice that you are now on sacred grounds. We only spent 2 nights there, but that was enough to get the understanding that this was a place of uniquenesses that held a certain amount of powers. I’m yet uncertain how long it might take to come to grips with it what’s held there, but I’m very grateful for the time allotted and will soon return for a deeper connection. If you have a spiritual side to yourself and this comes up on your radar, by all means necessary book it and thank not only me later, but more importantly those that have taken the oath to keep this spirit alive and well. 5,000 ⭐️’s is the rating if possible. And thank you to those behind the scenes that keep this location place alive and well!!!

Great campsite with beautiful views! I stayed in mid November and had the whole place to myself. Site 4 was great. Site 5 would’ve also been a good choice. I passed by some of the other Hipcamps in the area and thought the sites at Arrowhead weren’t as on top of each other as the other ones. The outhouse was simple but very clean and was all you need. I would definitely stay here again!

The Arrowhead Campground is a short drive from the main highway. The best views of the Monuments, we even got to see the moon rise above them. Each site has a freestanding pergola (w/ one wall for wind control), a picnic table, and a firepit. There are two off the grid outhouses. Bring your own drinking and grey water. There is no running water available. Note: We stayed on site #7 were the owner's dog had visited us once in evening by the campfire and once in morning while we enjoyed a cup of coffee. He is a sweetheart who respects your space, but enjoys your company. He enjoys a little toss and catch with rocks or sticks. Don't worry he'll find the perfect rock or stick to toss. Thank you, Jeremy and family for sharing this special place with all us happy campers.

Jeremy is super accommodating, this is the 2nd time we have stayed with him. The views of the mesas and buttes from every campsite is outstanding. He is friendly and helpful (and if you would like a private tour of the backcountry of Monument Valley where only the Diné can go, he can definitely get you an A+ tour!). We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property.

Nice camp with enough space. Very good spot close to the Valley (walking distance). Friendly hosts. Three nice dogs are guarding the camp. Unforgetable dark sky with a wonderful milky way and an amazing view especially during sunset. Not easy to find (no sign next to the main road).

The camp was clean, comfortable and quiet with breathtaking views. Jeremy's communication was excellent and got us right to our site. 3 days of amazing experiences thanks to our Sunrise Campground location! Nestled right outside of Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park. Surrounded by Mesas, Buttes & Spires the views were amazing. A trail from the campground is an added bonus. Will definite recommend this place!!
