The site is 40’ long. If your combination RV/ Tow Vehicle is longer than that then there is off street parking directly in front of the entry gate. This is a pull in or back in site only and not a pull through. ADA sidewalks outside.
Other things to note: This is a local residential neighborhood so no loud music or partying- quiet hours begin at 10p. Children must be supervised at all times. Dog owners must clean up after their pets- trash bin and bags are provided. Animal companions can be unleashed if kept within your enclosed area. No barking dogs left unattended in the fenced area. There is cacti in the garden so it recommended to wear shoes when outside. No restrooms available. Near several grocery stores, bus routes routes, and laundry mat in less than 1 mile.

Park your RV at our place on your travels, we are 5 min off the interstate! Dirt road is great for walking, some parts of the year people pass through for birding. Some people come to check out the area to potentially move to the area and some only come for the winters. We also have a short little nature trail that we made ourselves. We are 30 minutes south of Tucson, 25 minute drive away from Madera Canyon/Coronado National Forest for some great hiking and bird watching! No light pollution so you can see the stars good at night. Remember the term sky island. Here in southeastern Arizona and southwestern New Mexico, mountains seemingly come out of nowhere to dominate an otherwise flat landscape. Discover the five distinct areas of this national forest, all of which have their own sky islands.
Start your wanderings at Sabino Canyon. Steep rock cliffs and unique desert vegetation follow Sabino Creek, which maintains water year-round. Keep a sharp eye out for desert wildlife adapted for high heat and low humidity. Gila monsters may sun themselves on rocks, while bobcats sip from the creek's water.
Discover Miller Peak, the highest peak in the Huachuca Mountains. Wilderness surrounding the area comprises vertical cliffs and deep canyons. This is a spacious, beautiful and private RV site. Bob and Cindy went above and beyond by providing a welcome kit. It’s located in quiet neighborhood next to a preserve with walking trails. The full hookups worked perfectly. The offered 30 amp service would be challenging to keep our RV cool in the warmer months, but was plenty adequate for January.

We truly enjoyed our 28 day stay here. Bob and Cindy were available when needed yet they did not interfere with our stay. The site gave us plenty of room as well as all the requirements for a full hook up. One word of caution would be to make sure and supervise your children walking about as it is a desert and many cacti in the area. They have placed some creatures throughout and finding them was a surprise. Do visit if you can and we will certainly do so again if in this area. Thanks Bob and Cindy for creating this awesome space.

We loved the security and charm of this pretty, secure, campsite in the middle of a very urban area. There are lovely design choices in the charming campsite space - as well as water, electrics, etc. and it felt very private and safe: for our dog, for us, for leaving our camper. Clear communication and a warm welcome. I wish we had stayed longer and used the generous kindling and logs for the firepit as the space is so welcoming. The bright streetlight and some highway noise were not unexpected in the city - we would certinaly stay here again.

I stayed at Site #1 and was immediately impressed by how thoughtfully everything was set up. The space is huge with wide-open views, and the little details—like the soft nighttime lighting—make it feel both beautiful and functional after dark. It’s just bright enough to see without taking away from the calm, peaceful vibe.
Even though I never met the host in person, he was absolutely amazing. We texted back and forth quite a bit, and when I ran into an issue with my 30-amp plug, he walked offered to let me come up to his property to use his own plug adapter. That level of support really meant a lot.
I highly, highly recommend this place. It’s quiet, calming, and incredibly relaxing—exactly what I needed.

We had the most amazing stay at Lionel’s. Beautiful property to spend our little getaway. All hookups worked and there were no issues finding the location. We stayed at Sophia's and Anthony's campsite for two nights. I can't say enough good things about this site! The garden is beautiful 😍 and the fence was nice and secure for our two mid-sized dogs. Anthony was a huge help to us as we backed in (we're pretty new at this). Sophia was always available to answer questions. The location was very convenient for the places we needed to go in Tucson. Overall, highly recommended!

Do you love being in the middle of nowhere surrounded by Saguaro, Prickly Pear, Barrel, and Jumping Charro cacti, watching gorgeous sunsets, and star-gazing at night, listening to the white winged doves, cactus wren, Gila woodpeckers, Gambel’s quail and the cry of coyotes? Then this place is for you. Full hookups! Our 40ft motorhome had plenty of room. Saguaro Nat. Park entrances (E&W) are close by as is Mount Lemmon. Lots of hiking trails. Tucson is close enough, lots of shopping, groceries & restaurants. We can’t say enough good things about this place. The road in is dirt, gravel, & a bit of asphalt. It is worn, bumpy & washboarded, but take your time and it’s no problem and well worth the effort. We can’t wait to visit again.

Bob and Cindy have a wonderful little spot that is convenient to so many things in Tucson. It’s like being in the wilderness but still having the amenities of the city. Cindy was very helpful. It’s extremely well maintained. I know some people complained about the dirt road but we did not find it that big of a deal. We hope that we get the opportunity to wander in that direction again and stay at the Wild Burro!
