This spacious land is over 4 acres of high desert with breathtaking 360 degree views. Only 45 minutes from Flagstaff, 30 minutes from the historic Grand Canyon, and only 36 minutes from Williams, this property is in the middle of it all. There is so much potential for amazing adventures. You could go fishing in Williams or have a snowball fight in Flagstaff. If you have never seen the Grand Canyon you are in for an ultimate life changing experience. The dark night skies in this area may just keep you at camp. You can see every star out here and enjoy the escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. With wide open spaces you have so much room to play. The road to the property is about 0.8 miles and is considered dirt rugged. It will require you to so down under 5 miles an hour in a few places. You have the entire road to travel on and maneuver around the big bumps. I drive my car to the property ever time and don't have an issue if I slow down and go around large holes. If there is a recent storm in the area the road will be difficult to navigate.

This campsite is 3.7 miles from Grand Canyon Junction for food, gas, water, and supplies, and 30 miles to Grand Canyon National Park. There are two sites with fire pits and campfires are allowed but may be restricted during certain times when warm temperatures and high winds are forecasted. Please bring a shovel to clear the fire pit out if there is sand or leftover wood in it. Other things to note: From Highway 64, travel 0.85 miles east on Pine Rd to reach the property. The dirt road has some bumps but is accessible with a 2WD car when the road is dry but 4WD is recommended when there is snow or rain. Also, since you will be traveling on an unmarked dirt road, it is advised to reach the campsite before dark so it easier to locate. There are no toilets or water so campers will need to bring their own accommodations. Pack in and pack out policy applies. Please check if there are any fire restrictions at the time of your visit and always adhere to state and local fire restrictions. Very quiet. Scenery is beautiful. Sunsets are spectacular. My GPS took me to the exact location. It was a clear lot, with plenty of space for my 3 kids and a 9 person tent. If y are looking for solitude but not far from a town or other people, this is the place. Would definitely book again.

Private with only mountains in the background providing beautiful sunsets. My only caution would be to anyone driving a car or low riding RV. The road is rough and deeply rutted so drive it slowly and with some caution.

It was a great campsite! The dirt roads were a little tricky to drive through, but I think that can mainly be contributed to the rain that had fallen right before we arrived. I loved the fire pits and the chairs she had set up! Was windy the first day when we were setting up but then died down and was fine the rest of the time.

Very remote spot in the scrubland, beautiful sky views. Was windy pulling in but it died down plenty by evening, enough to have a fire to keep me warm, which was essential because it was *very* cold while I was there. Bathroom was fine, there was plenty of material to help get a fire started but be sure to bring firewood if you need a fire. This site is probably not for you if you're needing much from the host... It was very bare bones which is what I was looking for, but just a heads up in case you're a camper who isnt used to that.
