I’m Tammii, my husband Kevin (of 42 yrs. ) were missionaries for the past 17 yrs. And we felt it was time to get off the Fast lane and begin using the access road. In other words slow down a bit. While trying to figure out what the next season would look like we felt God encourage us that we weren’t finished yet just gonna do hospitality a bit differently then we had while working abroad in many different countries with many different cultures and people. So we made homebase Mesa AZ. And developed “The Field of Dreams”. After all If you build it they will come! Our Hipcamp site is new but very very nice. We look forward to many guests coming and getting much needed rest and peace and a breakaway from the stresses of life. Has a nice paved patio area with chairs and umbrella or picnic table. Propane fire pit with 2 chairs. Laundry available. Close to Costco and local restaurants, breweries, and a mall. Nearby mountain biking, hiking and site seeing. 30 minutes to downtown Phoenix. Great place for a stop over or short stay.

It is known for the lower temperatures than most of the hot, airy weather of the rest of Arizona. The nights can drop to much cooler temperatures, which makes it perfect for sleeping !!!

Our Ram, Beauregard Jr., or Beau, has his flock which love attention as well. The Horses, Hunter and Smoke, enjoy carrots and apples as their favorite treats. Nestled in a quiet little neighborhood right in the middle of town not far from downtown Tempe and only 15 to 20 minutes from downtown Phoenix, our Ranch has over 100 years of History within this area. When you walk through the doors of this place you travel back in time. 8 foot brick walls surround the ranch giving it a quiet and secluded allure. Originally built by the owners Great grandfather and his brother the house is known and recognized as one of the few historical homes in Tempe. Also known as the Risley Redden House, it's architecture is a marvelous display of lasting workmanship and uncanny construction skill. Staying here isn't only therapeutic, but also a rare opportunity to delve into the history of what the city was built upon. Our plans include growing food, raising our animals with a no kill policy, being a productive dairy, staying sustainable so that we are in-tune with the Earth, and making new friends every day!
