We are just 30 minutes south of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon where you will visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World. We are one of the few places to dry camp just a few blocks off Hwy 180. It's only a 11 minute drive to Grand Canyon Junction where Hwy 64 intersects with Hwy 180. At Grand Canyon Junction there is a convince store with clean bathrooms and it's loaded with snacks, souvenirs, apparel and even beautiful authentic Native American pottery and turquoise jewelry. Catch a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon from Tusayan, AZ which is only 25 minutes north. Our property is dry camping only and it's pack in and pack out. Please don't leave any trash. There are showers at Love's Travel Stop in Williams, AZ 30 minutes South which gets good reviews. The charming town of Williams, AZ is on Route 66 and there are lots of things to see and do. It is on level ground and suitable for tents, all vehicles and RVs. There are no restrooms or utilities on the property. Pets are allowed. Please pick up after them. Please do not leave any trash. It contains important information about what to expect, including condition of the local roads. The Moonshiner is a vintage 1960's camper that has been lovingly renovated. She sleeps 2 people cozily on a shared pull out bed. There is no light pollution out here, so you can see the Milky Way most nights. Enjoy a huge skylight over the double bed for some of the best stargazing in the country! The Moonshiner is set up on a private acre in a safe and peaceful neighborhood, approximately 30-40 minutes from the Grand Canyon (depending on your driving style and traffic). Guests have full private access to the camper and the surrounding yard. The camper is on a private acre and it’s all yours to do your thing. Your privacy will always be respected, and the property is laid out to ensure that. Please note that the camper does not lock from the outside, but you can lock yourself inside with a deadbolt. This is a community run camper/campsite. Open communication really helps things run smoothly, please contact me if there are any issues regarding your stay. We are unable to offer refunds due to weather, cold temperatures, road conditions or if it wasn't as easy to find as you would have liked. Enjoy campfires, mountain views and nature on this one acre property with easy access less than a mile from Highway 64. This campsite is 3.7 miles from Grand Canyon Junction for food, gas, water, and supplies, and 30 miles to Grand Canyon National Park. There are two sites with fire pits and campfires are allowed but may be restricted during certain times when warm temperatures and high winds are forecasted. Please bring a shovel to clear the fire pit out if there is sand or leftover wood in it. Other things to note: From Highway 64, travel 0.85 miles east on Pine Rd to reach the property. The dirt road has some bumps but is accessible with a 2WD car when the road is dry but 4WD is recommended when there is snow or rain. Also, since you will be traveling on an unmarked dirt road, it is advised to reach the campsite before dark so it easier to locate. There are no toilets or water so campers will need to bring their own accommodations. Pack in and pack out policy applies. Please check if there are any fire restrictions at the time of your visit and always adhere to state and local fire restrictions. Weekend Trip to Creekside Retreat on 3 Acres!

We had a great experience overall! Christine was flexible and understanding when we needed to change the dates of our stay. My daughter really enjoyed the property, especially the tire swing and hammock. It was a bit odd to us having a host on the property and around so much but Bill was helpful and friendly! Would recommend refinishing the benches and barstools on the deck as the wood was chipping in areas and could cause splinters. Some cushions on the benches would also add some more comfort but overall the deck was great for entertaining and relaxing. The inside was cozy and clean, had just the right amount of supplies for our stay. My daughter asked when we could go back before we even left, so we are looking forward to staying again sometime. Highly recommend!

4 nights at Creekside Retreat on 3 Acres!

This house is a wonderful base for exploring the Sedona area. It’s convenient to CottonWood, Camp Verde, the Village of Oak Creek, and anywhere in Sedona, which is just within a 30-minute drive away. The deck and creekside are my favorite spots—we enjoyed breakfast by the water in the mornings, and after a full day of exploring, we relaxed on the deck in the evening, cooking dinner and sipping tea or coffee. It felt so peaceful and cozy. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the property has BBQ grills both in the yard and on the deck, along with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The host also provides plenty of privacy, making the place feel like your own. If I return to Sedona, I would absolutely stay here again.

Very quiet. Scenery is beautiful. Sunsets are spectacular. My GPS took me to the exact location. It was a clear lot, with plenty of space for my 3 kids and a 9 person tent. If y are looking for solitude but not far from a town or other people, this is the place. Would definitely book again.

I had a last minute emergency with my pup and Kevin was super accommodating and responsive. This really is just a straight shot to the Grand Canyon though which is convenient. I can’t wait to check out some of his land in Cali!
