I wish I could have stayed longer! Macy’s place is beautiful. I appreciated all the ways she made it easy to just pull up and relax - super clear instructions to access everything I needed. The animals are wonderful, the town is lovely and the scenery is stunning. Definitely on my favorite list when I come back through. Thank you!

Sweet quiet place, beautiful views very near amenities and great town of Cave Creek. We loved being near the animals, though that also comes with the aroma, which we didn’t mind one bit. Walking trail right off main road to walk our dog. 30 amp is on extension cord and worked fine to run our a/c. Loved it.

This was our first time using Hipcamp (& our trailer) & loved our experience. Macy was great with communications, was incredibly welcoming, hospitable & kind. She was generous with her time showing my human circus around & even let them meet her new chicks (so stinking adorable). The property was close enough to town & other “stuff” that we didn’t feel like we were too far into isolation, yet off the main road enough to feel like we could enjoy the great outdoors. The great takeaways were: we felt that we could message her & get a quick response, we felt safe with her & being at her property, we were off the beaten trail just the right amount & we loved how welcoming she was to our tiny human. oooh! For any other first-timers: measure first, set up second. After setting up & leveling the trailer we learned we were 5” short on reaching the electric outlet. Total Back to the Future moment trying to connect cords. Good times! Thank you, Macy for the memories! And thank you for laughing with us (or maybe at us 😁) through it all.

Great site and views! Macy was a super host and her friendly animals were an added plus. Very convenient location to town. Nice and quiet. Our young pup enjoyed interacting with the animals in a safe environment.

We had a fantastic night. Our campsite was next to a huge Saguaro that she has illuminated with a light. We had shore power, which was wonderful, and then spent the evening next to the fire pit watching the stars. We could hear coyotes in the distance, and virtually no sounds of civilization. We felt like we were alone in the desert. The following morning we were able to see their horses and pigs, which is always fun and was a bonus for us. We would highly recommend staying here. We are so thankful that they shared their property with us.

We look forward to staying at Margarita ranch again!! Macy was an awesome host. The camp sight has an amazing view!! Very quiet. 1 mile to the main drag in old town Cave Creek with lots of great shops and restaurants. Splurge and treat yourself to a ranch tour. Lots of fun to meet all the critters. Book your stay now!

This place was amazing! It was very peaceful and beautiful. It was fun having Jefferies’s two great Pyrenees, three goats and six chickens. It made me a little less homesick😀 We would definitely go back again.

Great setup for the RV with full hookup. We enjoyed the solitude. The grounds are exceptionally kept and while we spent a lot of time in Phoenix there are lawn games, board games and a workout area to use. We received some eggs from the chickens too!

I highly recommend staying here if you are exploring Phoenix area. Beautiful camping on a small farm. Jeffrey & his wife were awesome hosts and even shared some farm fresh eggs with us! The sites are big and the outdoor shower is great! They thought of everything.

Amazing views. It was great to walk around and visit the horses, pigs and donkeys. We will definitely come back. Peaceful but 5 minutes from Cave Creek with great restaurants.
