High desert, with lots of Juniper trees and other mixed vegetation. No car or tent camping. Elevation - 3800 feet, not too cold in the winter, gets to 100+ in summer. Rainy season, is late June through September. Our 3 sights are all level gravel, 50amp, 30amp and 1 non hookup site. Imagine yourself sitting out in the warm evenings looking up at the wonderous, star filled sky. Or watching the sun set over the Hualapai Mountains, or getting up early to catch the sun rising over the Aquarius Mountains. The Hualapai Mountain hiking trails and Lodge (Great food with Mountain views) are within half an hour drive. The City of Kingman is also half an hour away west on hwy 40. Where there are Wineries, Breweries, Museums, Restaurants and ample shopping, including, of course, a Walmart. Other nearby fun places to explore: Follow the famous Mother Road - "Route 66." Where you can: Visit Peach Springs and drive to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, have a picnic by the beach and splash in the Colorado River. Take a picture by the 3 dimensional Route 66 sign. Drive up the 22 mile Sidewinder (191 curves), to the old restored mining town of Oatman, with all kinds of little shops, and a daily gunfight. And be sure to meet the Mayor of Oatman, who is actually one of many locals wandering freely through town, descended from the original Donkeys owned by the miners when they abandoned the town. Yes the mayor is a Donkey, and watch it because he may try to steel your bag if it contains candy or food. Keep driving down old Rte 66 to Topic, have a drink sitting in one of the Butt Chairs at the bar, or outside overlooking the Marina. Next drive 40 minutes to Lake Havasu, where there are many great experiences, including hanging out in a little piece of London with Restaurants, Bars and shops along Lake Havasu (Colorado River), under the actual London Bridge. Which was disassembled stone by stone, numbered, shipped and reassembled. Now bridges the City to the Island. Not too far from here is the Grand Canyon West Entrance. View it's Grandness walking out over the Canyon on the Amazing Glass Skywalk. You can go river rafting, ziplining and explore cultural exhibits depicting ancient village life. 4 nights at Wanderer's Rest

Kirk and Deana have a beautiful property that is everything you could dream of! Wish we could have stayed longer, and we even added an extra night (which they were very accommodating about). We arrived late the first night in bad weather, and Kirk stayed in contact with us to make sure we made it safe and even took the trouble to meet us in his vehicle in the dark so we had a guide. The road during the day/in clear weather is rutty as described in their listing, but very doable (we are used to going off pavement). We just happened to come during a down pour. As promised, once you get up the drive the spot to park is leveled out with easy gravel. There is a very nice trail system that is beautiful for a nice morning walk right outside your camper/tent door, about 1/4 mile long and you could choose to explore further. We took their itinerary suggestion of Oatman to see the wild donkeys and it was the highlight of our trip that we would have missed otherwise if not for the suggestion, highly recommend following their itinerary. Would absolutely book again, Kirk and Deana were very warm and kind, and made sure to be available to your needs while also giving you space to enjoy your site and nature.

Great spot to stay while exploring the Prescott area! Nice level spot with everything we needed- electric, water, sewer, fire pit and wood! Max went above and beyond to make sure we knew how to get there, where to park and to make sure we were comfortable. Bonus- we got to see javelinas every day! Host and neighbor house are near where you park, but we still felt private and everyone was very friendly.

If I could give Abi a million stars for hosting an amazing property, I would! Very well kept, amazing views (desert land/plants, sunset, night sky, sunrise, all of it!), beautiful artwork and mini trails, basically more than anyone can ask for at a campsite. My husband, dogs and I enjoyed camping here so much we plan to visit again. It was nice that the whole area was to ourselves, it felt very private and safe. Would definitely recommend!

Was just a blank space in the desert that I intended to use for astronomy. The highway is about a mile or a mile and a half away. There’s one there but you. Gerardo is very helpful if you reach out to him. Good instructions for how to get there, though I suggest reviewing it on Google maps before you go. The most helpful tip he gave was the GPS coordinates so you could find it on the map.

A little ways out of town. Worst part is the washboards on the dirt road there, but nicely graveled area for the camper. Easy to see the stars at night, and quiet. Owner even met us and helped us back in in the dark. Would recommend.

Weekend Trip to Magic in the Mojave

Such a special spot. I slept out under the desert stars in complete solitude (except for the company of jackrabbits and Joshua Trees). Place has vibey but not excessive artistic touches—perfectly representative of the environment. Good spot to camp and have a small fire. I really enjoyed my stay!

Oh my goodness this place! It was heaven! You need to be comfortable being remote because it really is just you. But the stars are so beautiful, the sunset was stunning and there is something so special about the peace it brings being so secluded. Roads are pretty rough getting to the camp but worth every bump aha.

Making the trip along Route 66 and wanted a camp ground and found this super private property with picnic table, fire pit and fun art sculptures! My wife and the dogs loved roaming the property and exploring around! The time we went provided a beautiful purple sunset, did have alittle bit of rain but that didn’t stop us! Very much recommend this inexpensive, get away camp site! Thank you!

Kirk & Deana’s site was very easy to pull into. They are super friendly and were nice enough to give me leeway with my checkout. We even did a quick hike around their property before I left. They are newly set up but ready for campers of every variety. Definitely recommend! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Weekend Trip to Camping near Seligman, AZ!

This was a remote area, exactly what I was looking for. Quiet and no one else around. Due to the area the sky was lit up with stars easy to pick out constellations.. I was given excellent detailed directions and the location was easy to find. I was definitely made to feel welcome and return any time.

We tent camped for 3 nights and it was absolutely beautiful! It was pretty hot during the days so definitely recommend bringing extra sun shades / canopy’s. Very quiet and secluded which we loved. The sunsets and stars were amazing. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful, charming campgrounds. Albeit feeling like “the middle of nowhere” once you brave the rumble of the dirt road you’re greeted by lit Joshua trees and a lovely common area. It was so quiet! Toilet is clean, with a lovely view. Will certainly book again if I’m ever needing a place while cruising the 40.
