Our shorefront and small float serve for swimming, fishing, or launching a canoe. Fly in guests may tie up at the float. Christiansen’s crystal clear waters provide wonderful fishing for rainbow and steelhead all summer, and through the ice in winter. Additional fishing, swimming and hiking is just down the road at our chain of lakes park - a good place for birding and berry picking.
Cross country skiing possibilities are endless in winter.
There are many back country trails, promising a true wilderness experience to off roaders whether on foot, on a bike, or atv. Unlimited camping is pemitted backpackers on Alaska State Lands. In season, guests may also reserve walk in camping on our semi remote properties. Tents, camp supplies and firewood may be set up for your adventure.
Always be aware of fire danger. All fire danger warnings and restrictions are posted regularly and are mandatory!

Please remember this is remote and off the grid. All meals are included with stay. No electricity, No cell service, 2.5 hour 4 wheeler ride or 15 minute helicopter ride. Highly recommended healthy and physically fit guest. This can be rough terrian. Pack light, but both warm and cold - wet and dry. Prefer everyone try to fly in helicopter through talkeetna air taxi, 4 wheeler is also an option. 1 Bedroom upstairs in loft with 2 beds. Front porch and Back porch to sit and watch nature and listen to the river. Fireplace and couch downstairs with sitting area. Small kitchen area. This cabin also has an outdoor sauna. I have uploaded pictures to show the beauty. The host will be around as needed and wanted. We can offer meals if wanted. Fishing poles are available to rent.

The property is beautiful! It's convenient location and attention to detail makes this place a great stay. Jessica is super kind and has amazing attention to detail with the decor, beauty, and great flow of the property she designed for guests! We were able to take our dog there with lots of space to enjoy walks in a gorgeous woods setting right on the lake! The amenities are off the charts, the sites are spacious and private and we really enjoyed our short stay! We checked in late and left early and it was easy to use the app. She even has a la carte options like a propane fireplace, sauna, hot tub and kayaks available to all guests....absolutely incredible, highly recommend and we will stay again!

Beautiful campground! Large lots with picnic tables with umbrella, large community fire pit, super clean restrooms & shower areas. We did a hot tub and a sauna add on - both were great, but I would especially recommend the hot tub! We also enjoyed kayaking on the lake! Everything was perfectly thought out and the host was so friendly and helpful.. We would definitely rent here again.

We had such a fantastic time here! The hot tub and sauna, along with the outdoor showers, were so nice after traveling. The campground is well laid out and felt safe, and the spots were relatively private. We really wish we had had time to take advantage of the kayaks at the lake! It was very picturesque though.
I also really appreciated the well stocked common area with some items for sale. Jessica and her family were also super nice and helpful! They had great recommendations.

We camped during the late summer in our sprinter van. They don’t have electric yet but they will very soon. It’s a lovely place tucked away but close enough to town. They have truly put love, blood sweat and tears into making this a lovely place to stay. Jessica is a charming host! They have some beautiful and even hilly hiking trails right around the place that could keep you busy for a while. The kayaks are fun paddle to around the lake. The hot tub was such a lovely bonus addition. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this campground with our RV. We felt safe and enjoyed plenty of privacy. Although it’s a newer campground and not all amenities (power/water) were yet available, we still had a fantastic time kayaking on the lake and truly appreciated the warm hospitality of our host.

talkeetna lake retrait is fantastic. the retreat is beautifully designed with lots of warm and useful details. jessica welcomes us personally and explaines everything. the sites are very nicely laid out, with plenty of space and picnic tables with parasols. we also get a gas fire pit. there is a club house with bath and shower, as well as sauna and hot tube. you can also use boats if you want. we enjoyed our two nights there. thanks to jessica.

The RV sites were spacious, unlike most private RV camps in Alaska, which is a very nice thing. They include a picnic table with umbrella. In the near future there will be 50/30/20 amp service, also unusual for a Hipcamp. An outhouse and outdoor shower are nearby, along with a communal fire pit with comfy chairs surrounding it. A short walk away is the clubhouse with flush toilet and shower. All kinds of reasonably priced items (smores, coffee, coffee mugs, ball caps, etc.) are for sale in the clubhouse. For an additional fee, time in a sauna or a hot tub is available. The property is a adjacent to a small lake, and the camp includes free use of a rowboat, canoe or kayaks to paddle around the lake. All in all quite a beautiful place. There may be some road noise, but it didn't bother us.

This is a lovely campground not far from town. Jessica is a wonderful host and you can see the work that is going into making the property even better. The sites are a good size with gas fire pits. The lake is lovely for a paddle and a swim and the extra little bits like the hot tub, sauna and club house make it a great stay.

Don't miss this sweet little retreat in Talkeetna Alaska. A family owned and operated business, it is tucked in the trees beside a lake surrounded by the beauty of Alaskan nature. We appreciated all the little touches and ammendeties such as an outside toilet, showers, changing rooms and wash up station that made our stay easy and enjoyable. As campers with a little teardrop trailer, we spent a large part of our time outdoors and loved the umbrella topped picnic table and propane operated fire pit that were great in sun and rain. The hosts were more than gracious and gave us great support as needed. This little gem is a great place for individuals and families with plenty of little areas to relax in comfy chairs, kayak while listening to the loons on the lake, or take off for a jaunt to the nearby town of Talkeetna. There is a grocery store and gas station less than a mile away which was so convenient. Probably our favorite amendity was the hot tub where we relaxed while overlooking the lake. Though we did not use the sauna, it was great to know it was there especially when the weather turned nippy.
