The cabin is about 15 minutes from downtown Piedmont, which has multiple coffee shops, restaurants, fast food, grocery stores, and antique shops. We provide a refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, oven with stovetop, dishwasher, and kitchenware to make your stay comfortable. You will be blown away by the mountain and creek views. A hiking path leads up to an overlook with a swing — the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee and watch the sunrise. We are 15–20 minutes from Indian Mountain ATV Park (with space to park your trailer) and less than a two-hour drive to Birmingham, Chattanooga, and Atlanta. Visit Gadsden (~35 minutes) to explore Noccalula Falls Park, especially beautiful with Christmas lights, or Fort Payne (~an hour) to explore Little River Canyon and Desoto Falls. We also have a raised-bed vegetable garden that guests are welcome to harvest during their stay. Our property offers especially stunning views in the fall when the leaves are changing. What an awesome place with a great mix of things to do and relaxation. We hiked all over the property, fished in the pond, had a picnic by the lake, and really enjoyed relaxing in the evening on our private balcony with a fire stove. The bathrooms were clean and within a short walk. I highly recommend staying here.

This was my third time staying there. And the reason I went back is because I wanted to stay again. I traveled to Knoxville and it’s a great place to stop in my in-between travels. The house are incredible not to mention the 200+ acres of land have trails and a pond. Plenty to see and walk around. I can’t wait to spend another night there again. I stayed in an A-frame, which has electricity, AC and heat. I mostly sit on the porch and light a fire and listen to the quiet. The bathrooms are nearby and are clean with showers and a sink to do your dishes. Whatever you think you are missing, they have I’m a huge fan and will be back again and again.

Our dome was great! My daughter and dog both loved the little hiking trail near the creek, and the setting was perfect.
