This is a very HIP Hipcamp. Unusual structures and very unique. Unfortunately, I was there when the weather was cold and there were no other campers on the premises so the ability to gather in the wonderful and comfortable common living area was minimal. I would love to return during warm weather to take advantage of the amenities.

We cannot say enough about how beautiful Vikrum’s land was. It was so peaceful and quiet and the river view and beaches were amazing. We had a little difficulty finding the initial turn off from the dirt road but the GPS directions lead us right to it. We just didn’t listen to them 🙄. The trail to the campsite was totally passable for a Tacoma and a grand Highlander. We loved it and so did our pups! We will totally be back. Thank you for a wonderful little break from reality!

We’ve camped at this spot several times now, and every visit just reinforces why we keep coming back. The property is absolutely beautiful — serene, quiet, and nestled right on the banks of the Escatawpa River. Whether you’re relaxing by the water or waking up to the sounds of nature, it’s the kind of place that instantly makes you feel grounded and at peace. The primitive camping setup is exactly what we love — no frills, just raw nature. It’s the perfect environment to unplug, reconnect, and even brush up on some survival skills. My two boys especially enjoy the experience; they’re always excited to explore the woods, learn new outdoor skills, and just be outside without the distractions of screens. Weekend Trip to CampFire at the Riverbend

The spot was absolutely perfect for camping, fire pit overlooking the winding River. The little cabin was essential for our dogs so we didn’t have to worry but I’d recommend an air mattress to put down. There were people tubing by all day so not total privacy but like I said, a perfect spot to camp out and unwind. Richard was very helpful in giving instructions. If you want more privacy I would recommend renting out both the cabin and the tent spot next to it. Would go back for sure

1 night at CampFire at the Riverbend

This is a beautiful spot with a sandy beach and crystal-clear, cool waters. At night there is great star-gazing and fireflies in the trees. A peaceful and private getaway. Richard responds quickly to messages and is very helpful! Will definitely be returning in the future and would highly recommend for nature lovers.

We always have an amazing time at this site. Close to the beach and all the stuff in Foley. Bathhouse and pool are well kept. Owner responds quickly to any needs. Neighboring site owners are all very friendly.

Weekend Trip to River Life Camping in Alabama

Great place to spend with the family. Very quiet and peaceful. I love that you can pitch a tent just about anywhere from the beach to the woods whatever you prefer and still be right on the river. Will definitely be back and highly recommend to all my outdoor people.
