20 ft travel trailer
The owner has built a roomy concrete pad in a field beside their house (40' away). The pad has 50a service and a sewer dump. Of note: The property is at the end of a narrow paved street which culminates in a small cul de sac. One must be creative about backing through the wide gate because of the close proximity. Once through the gate, aligning onto the pad is easy. I have a 20' F350 crew cab long bed with a 20' Airstream travel trailer and it was no problem backing through the gate for me. The pad is also situated beneath high tension power lines. The owner said it makes some people uncomfortable, so one has to think about that. About the owner... She is just the sweetest, kindest, nicest welcoming person you could ever meet!

We spent a full week at Yeti Acres, and it was exactly the kind of escape we needed — quiet, convenient, and truly cared for. From the moment we arrived, host Cayman made us feel welcome. He greeted us with delicious, homemade local treats — perfect after a long drive — and his warm hospitality set the tone for the entire stay.
The campsite itself was superb. The concrete pad is a newer build (50 × 70 ft, as noted on the listing), spotless, level, and generously sized. We set up our tow‑behind camper right on it — no worries about mud, grass, dirt, or soggy shoes (especially after a rainy week). It took a lot of stress off setting up and breaking down.
Although the access roads are a bit winding, that’s part of the charm — you feel tucked away and off the beaten path, yet you’re only 2–3 miles from everything you need: downtown Chattanooga, the North Shore, restaurants, shops, and attractions. We hardly saw other people—aside from the mail and trash crews and one distant neighbor—so it felt very peaceful and secure.
The surrounding lawn was well‑maintained, and with the mild climate at the time of year we visited, it all just came together beautifully. If you’re traveling solo or as a smaller group and want a semi-private, quiet spot with excellent utility hookups—this is as good as it gets so close to the city.
Note: If you’re expecting the buzz of a busy state campground or lots of neighbor interaction, this might feel quieter than you'd expect.

Cayman is a lovely person. We had a real Chattanooga welcome. Never met anyone that is so generous to strangers. She has a real nice place for hipcampers to get a full hook-up. When you have a big RV (or Tow) bring your driving skills!

The camping area was perfect! The field behind the owner's house drops in elevation so there's a hill between the house and the camping area. No houses to be seen anywhere when camping, leaving perfect privacy! It was great to let the dogs roam without worry as well. Would love to come back for a longer stay soon!

The site was super easy to get to. They had the gate open and ready, helped me back in, and provided my one year old with toys to play with outside. The recommendations from the food to activities to do were spot on. 10/10 would recommend

We would rate Cayman as a five-star host. We also think the actual RV site was very clean and efficient with all utilities. Our hosts went out of their way to make us comfortable and content. The hosts communication skills kept us up to date on all conditions. We enjoyed Cayman's fresh venison tacos and made sure we purchased fresh eggs out of their hen house. Very close proximity to Chattanooga with lots to do for an extended stay.

Unique space if you want a cabin and rv pad. I just had an rv and it's cool that they don't rent the cabin to someone else when you rent the rv pad. The description was very accurate so I had no false expectations when positioning my trailer. It's 17' and was easy to turn around and back in toward the utilities. I didn't have enough sewer hoses to reach, but that was fine since it was just me there for 2 nights. Electric and water was easy to reach. No problems with gate code or anything like that. Very smooth check in and check out. Also worth mentioning the wifi is very fast and was a nice bonus. I selected this site because of its proximity to Fiery Gizzard. The trailhead is literally 10 mins away. Also the small town of Tracy City is 5 mins away. Got great pizza at Hanks Corner Grill.
